Dumpling Master | Bubble Tea & Noodles
When you come in, you order from the QR code on the table and when you are done eating you pay at the counter. There’s a cute dumpling master mascot you can take a pic with. They also still have up their nice Christmas tree too. The fried rice could have had more flavor. The noodles were slightly too sweet. But overall the food was good! The boba was good too!
Scrumptious! Giant size portions and great flavors. I had pan fried pork and chive dumplings, Shrimp and noodles, mapo tofu, and pork dumplings. This is a self service place. They seat you and then scan the bar code on the table when ready to order. A cute robot delivers the food. A staff member comes around to clean up and make sure everything is fine. Plenty of parking.
China Restaurant
I don't know how this restaurant is getting an almost 5-star review. It is fast, very average food, probably fried frozen food. They don't have cups, straws or ice. The environment is totally bland. I've had some very good Chinese food and this place does not compare. Sorry to be down on it but for $25 for 2 simple lunches was a disappointment. Next time I think I'll just order a simple wonton soup.
This place is amazing for quality flavors. If you've seen my reviews of Chinese food places around Alph area, I have not liked any of them. Now I have found my place! We ordered... Mongolian Beef KungPao chicken Chicken Lo Mein General Tsao chicken Chicken Fried Rice Spring Rolls I give 5+ (or more) out of 5 for everything except for the Fried rice and the spring rolls.. For the good side.... The Mong beef, kungpao, lo mein and general Tsao... the flavors were AMAZING... and the portion of veggie to meat was great ...although I thought the Mongolian beef had too many onions.. but my wife loved it.. and it didn't detract from us enjoying it.. They allowed me to order KungPao w/o veggies!... first place I've every met outside of LA, Cali that would... and he asked if i wanted peanuts... yes, please! Yes, I've better KP overseas because of the way the chicken is cut/cooked, but this is hands-down the best KP-chick I've had in the alpharetta area.. ok, on the downside... the spring rolls were too doughy.. the flavor was good but the dough wasn't rolled thin enough.. did we eat them all? absolutely! :) Second, the fried rice was a hot mess... see the pic's.. literally, why can't any place around here make a decent fried rice ... it is so easy... if this place had thrown in an egg or two and some soy, it would have been acceptable... but alas.... nope :( All that said...I will go back here for my Chinese food even though I have to drive 20 minutes... its the best flavors I've found yet.. ...and no, I don't want to use 3rd party delivery after all the sketch people I saw picking up food..
Yan's Cafe
Review: Yan's Cafe - A Solid, Yet Unrefined, Asian Dining Experience In our ongoing quest for exceptional Asian cuisine, my family and I recently opted to try Yan's Cafe, a newcomer to the local dining scene. With a craving for noodles, we placed a takeout order, selecting the Basil Fried Rice and Spicy Thai Noodles. Upon tasting, we found both dishes to be above average, yet falling short of true excellence. The Basil Fried Rice, while cooked to perfection, lacked a depth of flavor, coming across as somewhat bland. Conversely, the Spicy Thai Noodles, although expertly prepared, failed to deliver the anticipated level of heat. Despite these minor missteps, we were pleased with the overall quality of the ingredients, generous portion sizes, and reasonable pricing. The takeout experience was seamless, with our order ready for pickup at the designated time. In conclusion, while Yan's Cafe demonstrates promise, it falls shy of delivering truly memorable Asian cuisine. With refinement and attention to flavor profiles, this establishment has the potential to become a standout in the local dining scene. We would be willing to provide a second chance, hoping that the kitchen will take our feedback to heart and elevate their dishes to the next level. *Recommendation:* For those seeking a reliable, if unremarkable, Asian dining experience, Yan's Cafe is a viable option. However, for those craving bold flavors and exceptional cuisine, it may be worth exploring alternative establishments.
I just ordered there for lunch early this morning, and just picked it up. I have got to say this is the most delicious Chinese food I have had in a long time. The sweet and sour pork was tender, the kung po chicken is deliciously spicy, the vegetables are cooked to perfection, and the general Tso is amazing! And of course the Crab rangoon had that nice crunch with the cream cheese filling and the soups are perfect for this cold weather. Just had to leave the review while me and my family are munching on the food. I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be going back.
Lin's Chinese Cuisine
We had not had Lin's in awhile because we live 30 minutes away now. Wife suggested it and I went down for pickup. Everything was ready and waiting when I got there. What a pleasant surprise when I was greeted by name. I remembered that I had been going to Lins for over 20 years. Well I got home, everything was still piping hot and ready. The Hot and Sour is perhaps the best I have ever had. Having traveled around the world, I can judge the deliciousness of the food by the first taste of Hot and Sour soup. Lin's soup has been consistently delicious for that same 20+ years. I also had the Szechuan chicken. Amazing! Tender chicken, flavored with the right balance of heat and savory orange sauce. My wife had the chicken lo mein. She loved it and kept going back to the container for just a little more. She also had the wonton soup and said it was great. So, it you are looking for fresh made, delicious food, Lin's is the place. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dinner!! Great service, delicious food, good value. Don't let a couple of negative reviews change your mind. This place is awesome.
The food is pretty good however the service is terrible. The pricing is out of control too high. There lunch prices are more than the old dinner prices.
