China Moon
We love to try new Chinese restaurants. Our favorite in Ft. Lauderdale went out of business. China Moon has very good food. You can't really eat here as it's takeout only. We ordered PorkFried rice and it was very good. The Mixed soup was a little plain. The beef noodles were very good. I love the Curry Shrimp! Would order that again. My wife said she liked the ribs. It was pretty good food and would order again.
Was in the area and wanted Chinese food. Saw the China Moon sign and looked up the Reviews before going in. Reviews were very good so I decided to go in and order To Go. Since this was my 1st time here, I was pleased with all the selections on the Menu. Food was very good. Hot & Sour soup had nice size pieces of mushroom and was the best I've eaten. Fried Rice has pieces of onion, which I cannot eat, but the pieces were big enough to pick out and there were not that many. I ordered the Pork with Mixed Vegetables. Lots of nice size pieces of pork and the mixed vegetables were very good. I just wish there were not so many pieces of the white part of the celery (about 12 pieces). Would rather have more carrots, snow peas and zucchini. Did miss not having mushrooms in the mixed vegetables. Pleasant staff that spoke English. Food was prepared quickly. Will definitely come back and try different menu selections. Glad I was in the area and found this place.
House of Pang
Never again! We were treating family we were visiting to Chinese take out and as it turned out, their, and our, favorite place was closed that day. So, they picked another place they hadn't tried that was close and open. Our food was ready on arrival and for 4 of us it was $108.00. I was thinking, this better be good! Disappointment was in my future. First thing I noticed after getting the order unpacked was they forgot to include the hot house mustard we ordered. There was also no soy sauce or duck sauce with the order. If those things were self serve they weren't obvious and we received no direction being first time customers. I wish now I hadn't left the generous tip I did. The food was relatively tasteless. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour, it was devoid of any flavor at all. The sweet and sour shrimp was decent. Shrimp were a good size and coating crisp. Sweet and sout pork was a different story as the batter coating was severely undercooked, very light, soft and doughy. The pork egg rolls were decent, I didn't try the shrimp. I really missed the hot mustard on those three items. The pork egg Foo young was like no other I've ever had both in looks or flavor. Was that confetti? It was very...colorful! The Gravy was very dark brown, very thin and sweet! I got the feeling it was a sauce intended for something else. It wasn't bad, just not what you'd expect with this dish which is supposed to be savory, not sweet! At this point I didn't even want to try the beef and broccoli and none of us even touched the lo mein, it looked that good. Four adults, $108.00 worth of food (I use the term loosely), missing items and 2 whole fortune cookies! This dinner was a major fail from start to finish. We're so glad our family didn't try to send leftovers home with us!
The food is delicious and the order is accurate/nothing missing. The spare ribs are delicious and the Singapore noodles are tasty. The orange beef was yummy and the shrimp with eggplant with garlic sauce was very good, too! The wonton soup is good, too. The prices are fair as well. I’m making the switch to this place for our take out going forward! There are tables to eat in, but it’s not a “dining” atmosphere. Easy to order online, too.
Koi Wok Inn
We love our Chinese food but as for the past several years we have def seen a decline in Quality when it comes to Fast Food Chinese. We were very plenty surprise with this place. Not only was 95% off the food good, but it was tasty, not over salted and reasonably priced. And the portions were good. Their veggie fried rice was great, their veggie lo main was tasty and their boneless ribs were wayyyy better than their spare ribs. There was no meat and real taste on the spare ribs. And all of the spring rolls and egg rolls were also quite tasty, as well as their soups. Our bills was $78, and that was to feed 5 adults and 2 children. Which I thought was very reasonable! I would def suggest trying this place at least once, you may just be pleasantly surprised!
From getting take out three times now. Amazing price/quality relationship. Clean trustworthy open kitchen. Lots of turnover and business. Well organized and managed. They way I love Chinese Food. Three times take out and every time perfect, priced very good and expedient.
First Wok
Last night, I had takeout from this local restaurant. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted amazing! The broccoli was crisp and not soggy at all, and the egg rolls were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend giving their food a try…
The food was disgusting! Soggy vegetable eggroll that tasted like freezer frost. Chicken lo mein tasted like dirty water!! The fried rice was sour. The food was literally inedible. I’m not sure what happened to this place because they have so many good reviews, but my experience was terrible! The food tasted like it was old and nasty.
China Queen
Our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. Good portions. Tasty food. The wings are golden and crisp. The ribs are meaty. The soup is loaded with wontons. Consistent quality.
I was not expecting frozen heated gyoza for fried dumpling. My chicken and rice soup had a nice flavor, however there was only rice and chicken on top with only a small amount of broth. My chicken chow mien had shredded carrot, not sure what province that is from...and my egg roll was so dry inside and out it was like eating a paper towel. So, for me, this is a no return and I won't eat any leftovers that tasted like this at its best...🤷♀️ 😔
Wok N Roll
When you spend $50 you would not think the majority of it would be burnt. It is okay to change the grease. Very disappointed. This place is too much of a hit or miss. Also got Egg Foo young which was also burnt. The Chummie chum rice was great. Just a shame I could not enjoy an entire meal.
Just had an amazing dinner at Wok N Roll, 1113 S Military Trail, Deerfield Beach! The vibe is super chill, and the staff are so friendly—they really make you feel at home. The food? Totally delicious! Will definitely be back soon!
Bird Nest Tree
Great and clean food. Cannot believe I've been close to this and haven't tried it. We got Egplant and Vegetable Lo Main to go and llloovveedd it. Unfortunately, no pictures because we ate all the food! Will post the next time we go in to eat. Update: yes we are back and I cannot describe how it felt to eat here after 3 (yes 3) doctor and hospital appointments.... Just divine. Had an amazing supper with my wife, where the shrimp dishes were so perfect, the soups yummy inbthe beginning as well as the sweetness of the ice cream in the end. Thank you so much for everything, will be back very soon...
Used to really like it here. But they keep raising prices...same basic meal was about $25, now it's $45! We're looking for another place...
China Gardens
I’ve been eating here for years and the food is usually between 3 to 4 stars. With most meals you get soup, an egg roll and white rice ($1 up charge for fried rice). It’s your typical Chinese fare. On my last visit I ordered the seafood noodle soup for $15. It was contained like 6 shrimp and 2 scallops. The shrimp weren’t deveined and the soup broth was bland and mediocre. I wish it was better because I do like this place and they’re always crowded.
Tried for the first time. Love that it’s old school - fried wonton chips and duck sauce, hot tea, soup, egg roll and ice cream with your entree. We had Singapore noodles and chicken with eggplant. Generous portions and great flavor. Love the silver trays!!
Kingsburg
This is my family's favorite Chinese food place. When my daughter is in town, she always asks to go for dinner. I am gluten free and they have rice noodle dishes that are delicious, (no soy)
My mother and I haven't had food from here in maybe a year or so and I was craving the ginger scallion lobster dish. Inflation has definitely made its way into the prices here now and the dish has gone up to over$60. Happy was the gentleman that helped us on the phone. He was very kind and allowed my mother and I to use a coupon for a free small side of fried rice (she had older menus that didn't stipulate that it be paid in cash) also delivered it to us as well. Happy suits him well as we were all smiles at delivery time. Despite the high price (lobster was 2.5lbs) we shared the dish and the lobster was fresh, delicious, and filling. Not a big fan of the hot and sour soup here, but everything else was delicious and satisfying.
