Wandee Asian Fusion
Delicious! đ We were in town visiting family. She took us to this restaurant and we were all very surprised at the flavors this restaurant had. Every item that came out was wonderful! The decor looked amazing! Great food, but even better service! We will definitely be back!
Here we go another great hidden Gem in Tampa. Very cozy warm place for a date or the family. The food we tried was delicious not salty but full of flavor. This is a must try. Letâs support our small businesses these places are affordable clean and great food. The Ice-cream with banana was amazing.
SaRiOne B.B.Q
A hidden Town & Country Korean BBQ gem. I forget about this place & then I remember why itâs so good & happily put aside the strip mall aesthetics to enjoy another meal here. Service is good. Portions are huge. Everything is tasty. Restaurant is clean. Big dining room with seating that feels semi-private. Good menu selection. Donât forget to try a soju & a soup. Broth bases are so good. Great place for a date, group of friends, or family. Will definitely keep returning. Highly recommend. You will not be Sari.
My daughter and I had the pleasure of visiting that charming restaurant yesterday for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed with our entire experience. Our waitress, Mina, stood out as exceptional; she was not only polite and friendly but also remarkably knowledgeable about the menu. With a warm smile, she took the time to walk us through each item, providing detailed descriptions that helped us navigate our choices with ease. The food itself was nothing short of fantastic. The expertly cut and perfectly seasoned meat was a highlight, bursting with flavor in every bite. I was particularly taken with the kimchiâit had an exquisite balance of spice and crunch that elevated the dish. The accompanying cucumber and raddish provided a delightful contrast, with their crispness adding a refreshing burst to our meal. To my delightful surprise, the fish cakes were absolutely delicious. The flavorful soy paste served as a dipping sauce was a perfect complement, enhancing the without overpowering them. Mina, I sincerely hope to see you again during our next visit! While I will admit the meal was a bit on the pricey side for a casual lunch, every bite was well worth it. This establishment not only serves as an ideal spot for a family outing but also sets the perfect ambiance for a romantic date night. Overall, we had a wonderful time filled with delicious food and excellent service, and we eagerly look forward to returning.
Pollos Rocoto Chifa Polleria- Tampa Florida - Rotisserie Chicken
Iâve eaten here three times, and each visit has been a winner. Their ceviche is hands down the best in the Tampa Bay areaâfresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. If you love Peruvian food, this place is a must-try. The service is always friendly and on point, making for a top-notch dining experience every time. Honestly, I hope they never close, because Iâll keep coming back for that incredible ceviche!
Love the expansion very needed room for more comfort. We've been here before but this is the first time I'm leaving a review because now I can speak for the food, service and atmosphere. We went on a Monday for lunch and we got all the dishes pictured below. It's a great deal when you get the lunch menu for $10 you get an appetizer (we got soup) and the entree. These can definitely satisfy you if you can eat all that, we took some home. We also got the fried rice with chicken and pork and it was probably the best of all we got. Generous portions and you can also get desserts, my favorite was the combinado, the cake slice could've used a better sponge I don't know if it's a different style but not impressed with it. Usually torta helada also have some fruits on it but this one didn't. Finally service was 9/10 they are friendly but got busy and I had to ask for the check twice and actually stand up and pay which is not a problem but it was a slow check out. That said we will be back, now with more tables is easier to eat in there and enjoy the yummy food.
En Mi Viejo San Juan
Super fresh Puerto Rican fare! This is legit! The mofongo and pork chunksâŠabsolutely fantastic! Large portions! The flavor is authentic. I will definitely be back!
The food was great. We came from Northern Virginia and were happy to find this place. Love the Chicken Pinchos with garlic bread, and Relleno de Papa. Thank you Ariel and Anica for taking care of us, and go the extra mile besides all the rush, and almost time to close. Blessings and Great Success!
Phá» QuyĂȘn Vietnamese Cuisine
Pho Quyen is a solid option for Vietnamese cuisine in Tampa. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from their flavorful pho to fresh spring rolls and delicious stir-fried options. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is generally polite and helpful. Despite some minor setbacks, Pho Quyen provides a pleasant dining experience thatâs worth trying if youâre in the area.
Good pho, nice portions, sweet boba drinks! Papaya salad is Vietnamese style not Thai or Lao style just so you know.
Mi Bandera
I took my fiancĂ©e for an original Colombian date and lord!!!!! I have zero regrets. She tried everything; morcilla, empanadas, bandeja paisa, postobon drinks and even lulo juice. Omg, it was such an amazing experience. The service was on point, they make you feel like home and as a Colombian, thereâs nothing I appreciate more than feeling like homeâ€ïž Thank you for your service to this community and keep on making such delicious foodsđ«¶đœ
I paid $10.74 for a beef soup to get only 3/4 pieces of beef large soup at that. This is a disappointment completely. I would like to get my money back but when I called they said itâs whatâs it brings itâs a quart of food with 3/4 pieces of beef. DO NOT BUY SOUP HERE!
China Wok
It was hard finding other reviews on line but we took a chance anyways. SO glad we did. The food was amazing! We ordered an array of things since it was our first time trying and a bit of a drive, farther than we would normally drive for take out. Letâs start with the orange chicken. It was perfectly crispy with a sweet and tangy orange sauce that was sticky yet saucy! We also ordered the hunan double, it came with beef and shrimp and lots of veggies with a side of steamed white rice. The shrimp were huge, and the rest of the dish had great flavor. We agreed that, the dish had the most veggies we had ever seen coming from a Chinese take out. I LOVE pork lo mein and have high standards when it comes to this dish! It didnât disappoint. LOTS of pork with the perfect amount of veggies. We ordered the large and it came in a full size to go container, packed to the rim! We ordered pork egg rolls and they were crispy on the outside and the veggies were crispy in the inside. The wrapper wasnât soggy on the inside, they know what they are doing when it comes to frying eggrolls! Last but not least, the wonton soup! The broth had a lot of flavor with a bit of zing to it. I think they may have used spicy pork for the inside of the won ton! Delicious! Give this place a try! Itâs great! The owners greeted me when I came in and thanked me several times for placing my order. Run, donât walk to try this place out!
Steamed dumplings, beef chow mein fun, king pao chicken!! All so good! They are very nice and clean!! Must try the Jasmine tea as well, it is homemade :))) healthy good food
Thai Mama
Wow! Totally unexpected absolutely fresh, tasty, and visually appealing authentic Thai made from the loving hands of Thai Mama herself. The owners are so warm and friendly and we can't wait to come back! Seriously the food you would expect at a high end Thai restaurant not a little hidden take out unassuming gem. This place is for pick up, take out, or Uber eats only.
The place looks authentic, but it has nothing to do with authenticity. I've had Tom Yum about 100 times, cooked it myself around 30 times, and I know not only how it tastes but also how it should look. I've been to Thailand, so I know what I'm talking about. The Tom Yum with seafood I ordered had nothing in common with the real dish besides the name. Not every spicy soup with seafood can be called Tom Yum. There was too little coconut milk, and the spiciness was unpleasantly harsh, rather than the enjoyable heat a real Tom Yum should have. The tomatoes should be cherry, not regular ones roughly chopped. Red onion might be acceptable, but not in such large amounts. And all this for $20? I donât recommend it. Never coming back.
Tokyo Restaurant
This place is great! My husband and I really enjoyed the food and service. Huge portions and tasty food. We dined in and I highly recommend it.
I recently ordered lunch for my coworkers from this restaurant, and it was one of the worst dining experiences Iâve ever had. Not only are their prices outrageously high, but the quality of the food is absolutely horrendous. The fried rice was burnt and dried out, making it completely inedible. The dumplings were soggy, drenched in an excessive amount of soy sauce, and looked revolting. The shrimp and steak combo was the most appalling dish Iâve ever seen, with tiny, gross-looking shrimp and raw, slimy steak covered in a disgusting brown sauce. The lo mein noodles were overcooked, greasy, and clumped together, making the entire dish look and taste repulsive. To top it all off, the customer service was incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they were dismissive and unapologetic. This restaurant not only overcharges for their terrible food but also treats their customers with a complete lack of respect. I will never be ordering here again and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.
Thá»nh An Kitchen & Tofu
What a gem in the Tampa area, and easily the best Vietnamese restaurant I have been to. We went two nights in a row to try different noodle dishes and banh mi, and not a single one disappointed.
I had 2 shrimp rice paper rolls with an AMAZING peanut sauce here that cost $5. You can get a soup for $12. The prices are great and the food is very tasty. Tyler took care of us and he was very nice and caring for our needs. I will be returning.
New Bamboo Express
I payed $65 dollars for this food from bamboo express..normally the food is ok, but they have crossed the line with this one. I order food at 10:30am-11:00am this morning BEFORE 12:00pm and this is the WORST AND MOST DISGUSTING FOOD I EVER HAD FROM THIS CHINESE RESTAURANT! The chicken was very hard and greasy and old. The French fries was hard and old and dried out. The broccoli is shriveled up and hard. The rice is hard and overcooked. They gave me STALE OLD FOOD. Be carful when purchasing food from these people because they might just end up giving you uncooked food. WORST CHINESE RESTAURANT EVERđđœ!
Probably the worst Chinese food Iâve ever had. The general tso was terrible, pretty sure it barely contained chicken as the pieces were almost all completely batter. And the sauce it was covered in was like a sweet syrup. The lomein wasnât any better, the noodles were overcooked and soft and way too sweet. The presentation was awful, just terrible quality. I donât know, but Iâll never be back. Just go to McDonaldâs.
