China Wok
very nice food! staff kind and will kindly put fortune cookies in your bag. but i put four stars for “atmosphere” because it is a little under cared for. unclean floors, only a couple din in tables. but overall five stars. thank you amazing china wok team for your great food and service!
Well, I wanted to dine in. That was my mistake. I guess that's not the standard operating procedure. So she gave me a menu and I sat. She came back out from the kitchen and asked if I was ready and I replied yes. She said you can order up here at the counter. I ordered chicken with garlic sauce.I complied then sat. She brought the food in a to go container with a plastic fork. The broccoli, carrots, onions, mushrooms and green peppers were very hot, however, quite al dente. For me it was not cooked enough. The chicken was okay. The fried rice was not very tasty. For take out it would be just okay. It's definitely not a place to sit and eat. The bathroom is out of order.
Fuji buffet
Good experience. Everything was pretty fresh. The place was super clean. Flavors were great, but not outstanding. A few dishes lacked some punch. Everything was nice and hot though. Atmosphere is a bit more fun than a typical Asian buffet. The music didn't really fit the vibe of the establishment. Overall worth the visit and we'll definitely go back.
Do yourself a favor and either lower your expectations or spend your money for a better meal somewhere else. The pictures are almost false advertising. The unlimited Asian drinks that were included as well as the cool looking ice creams are a bust and myth. There are much less options than depicted in those pictures and videos on social media. Maybe when they first opened but not now! The ice creams were literally to the tune of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry or orange sherbert but all of which came in a Styrofoam cup with a pull back lid like a Dixie cup. The Boba drinks were 3 flavors and the bottled Asian drinks had only one flavor choice. The Hibachi had steak, very few pieces of semi-slimy chicken, and some shrimp to choose from and the veggies consisted of zucchini, onions, mushrooms and peppers and there were noodles but that was it. I chose a moderate spice Terriaki soy for my Hibachi and they did a good job with the flavors but it was a very awkward and unprofessional set up. There was no one stationed were the Hibachi area was but to the right was the sushi station and staff coming in and out of the back with rolling carts for clean up and buffet items for replenishment and when I asked one of the employees by the sushi if they do the cooking for the Hibachi they said yes and took my raw items and said it would be a few minutes, but I didn't see where they cook it so I'm assuming they take it in the back and then bring it out once it's ready and ring a bell for you to come and pick it up. I went up to find it and it was off to the side slightly behind the raw station and I had to reach in between to obtain it and it was again, unmanned. The buffet items for the hot food were okay but not great. The selection was surprisingly smaller than the majority and definitely smaller than depicted in pictures and videos that have been featured. They did have snow crab both hot and cold but the flavors were just okay. The butter was more like movie theater popcorn oil but definitely not real butter. It was clearly a butter flavored oil of sorts. The General Tso's chicken was lacking in flavor and the coconut shrimp was sub par at best. It wasn't a very clean place and the decor was beyond basic and felt slightly dated and dingy. They also had crawfish. I'd say unless you're going for unlimited snow crab or crawfish and butter isn't important to you, then this is not worth the drive or price because you can get better buffet items in most Chinese buffets for $22 for dinner. If you know you know, and now, you know...

WeVegan Cafe
I ordered through this company for Valentine's Day, and boy was it a lesson learned. You would think that a company selling freshly baked perishable food items to be shipped through UPS across the country would use the 2 day delivery, but this seller used ground shipping. Mind you, UPS offers merchants shipping discounts for using them. After several days of no response from the seller through email, I reached out to UPS. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to get them to expedite my package, explaining that it was supposed to arrive on Valentine's Day or at the latest the 15th as it was full of perishable food items. They apologized for the shipping issues and then explained that the merchant used UPS ground (the 3-5 business day shipping option), but ended up helping me sort it out the best they could. When the items arrived a few were slightly banged up, but the mini cake came damaged. My impression of what kind of care was taken into consideration for packing these items was that it was a complete afterthought. It was just saran wrap, then wrapped in a layer of tissue paper, stuck in a shallow mailer, more tissue paper shoved in and hoped for the best? My partner and I tried the brownie (one of the few items that was banged up), which looked nothing like the photos and was very dry. We then tried the strawberry cookie, which was still moist, but tasted straight out of a box cake mix. It has that Betty Crocker/Pillsbury artificial strawberry flavor, and I've made something EXACTLY like it before. My partner unfortunately didn't like it. Had I known I was going to receive items that looked and tasted like something from a school bake sale (or that I could have made at home for less than $2), I wouldn't have paid so much money for it. Additionally the paper that accompanied the package explaining ingredients didn't even include most of the items I got, looks like a generic list of their classic items. I'm so disappointed because I wanted to support a locally owned vegan company from somewhere my partner and I never had before, and I feel like I was burned. Next time I'll stick to my local vegan spots..
This is the bast vegan breakfast in Tampa! The service is excellent, the coffee is top notch and the vegan desert selection is impressive! I drive all the way from northdale just to get breakfast for me and my family. Thank you, WE VEGAN for being so dope!!!
Pho 813
I saw Pho 813 pop up and thought I give it a try. It has a nice decor outside and plenty of parking spaces. It also has a nice patio outside so you can enjoy your meal outdoors. When I first walk into the restaurant, the place is well light and looks very clean. However, not one employee was Vietnamese and there were no Vietnamese customer. Based on that, I knew what to expect. Given that it was very early, it wasn’t to crowded. I was seated quickly and was well taken care of quickly. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue as that is the dish I try in every new place I go. The meal came out very quickly. Unfortunately I will say that it was not as hot as it should be. The condiments was not correct for the soup as it was for pho soup. The broth wasn’t bad. But the food is catered to Americans and younger generations. I know my American wife would like it. For me, it was not authentic Vietnamese food and the soup lacked so many ingredients that should be in a Bun Bo hue. I would recommend this place for the new younger generation or American folk. However, i am sorry to say I would not look to this place if you want real authentic Vietnamese food.
The duck soup was AMAZING. If you ever get bored with pho, try this place and get the duck soup. Tasting pho for the first time was life changing for me. Tasting this duck variation was more so. I have never had so many new flavors in a single dish. Excellent service and the best soup I have ever had. Will be coming back!
New China Restaurant
It's a take out place, nothing too exciting. I got the weekday lunch special with a soda, it was 9.25 plus tax. I didn't want to eat in my car so I sat at their only table in the store. At first I when I looked at it, I thought I was going to eat half of the noodles and dump the fried rice. It looked dry but when I add a little bit of soy sauce, it was above my expectations. I destroyed the whole box. 4 outta 5.
My husband went and picked us up food last night, it was clean inside, and food was delicious! I am actually on day two of my food because it’s so good! I got vegetable egg foo young there was three pieces, and it came with white rice and gravy sauce. Then my husband and kids got sweet and sour chicken with rice, which they enjoyed. I was looking at Chinese restaurants to eat at, and if you read this and have a good experience you should leave a review. I think people only leave a review when it’s bad, which sucks for the next person, because I was afraid to eat here but honestly due to time we winged it. I do believe restaurants have more good days, than bad days, so I encourage anyone that reads this if it’s good. Come back and leave a review. Just for proof I added a picture of me scolding it down a dinner plate the next day 😅🙌🏼
Wok N Roll
Did not find this place clean enough looking to wanna try the food. They have what appears to be a dining area closed off in the front lobby and it looks like they are doing prep work there hanging out and possibly living in it. There were personal effects, clothing dirty dishes and food containers all over the place. See pictures
The food was made fresh outside looked pretty sketchy. I’m glad I tried the food and didn’t listen to all the bad reviews. This was only $8.33.The person working here speaks very little English.
