Panda Express
This is hands down the worst panda express I’ve ever been to. I’ll be going off base next time I want panda. The fried rice tasted like it was a week old. All of the main course meats also tasted disgusting, which is surprising because I thought everything was premade and frozen then reheated. The only thing worse than the food was the service. It truly felt like I was inconveniencing the young lady taking my order. Everything my family and I wanted to order there was a 5 to 10 minute wait for. The atmosphere was also terrible. It seemed like there was no manager on duty because all of the employees were just being immature and screaming and joking around making entirely too much noise the entire time I was trying to eat my food.
I visited this location three times. First and foremost, the food was good and was provided in reasonable portions. Unfortunately, as with all organizations, its people will make or break them. On my first visit, the staff was excellent, professional, warm, and swift in providing service. My second and third times were a far cry from that. My second trip was sobering because an individual who I think was the shift lead was criticizing the team, from the cook to the additional server, for what I believe was both being too slow in replenishing food on the line and completing orders, respectively. I thought displaying such behavior in front of customers was very unprofessional. Unfortunately, the shift lead had inflicted damage on the psyches of her team, and their demeanor shifted. They greeted customers (including myself) poorly, displaying apathy and hastiness in getting people through the line and out of their queue.
