P.F.Chang's
Food was good (sweet and sour chicken), but the service sucked. I firmly believe it was because I only put a 5% tip too. I was even reluctant to do that much since I ordered from the self service “To Go” kiosk. I did everything myself, even grabbing my own beverage. After exactly 30 mins, I had to ask where my food was. Two servers blew me off and didn’t want to help and the third one finally said ask the front hostess. A front host walked to the back and immediately brought the bag of food out. No telling how long it had been sitting there. Again, food was good, but if you order to go, be aware to start asking after 15-20 mins.
This sit down restaurant sits in the main Tampa Airport Terminal before going through TSA security. As a sit down place where you eat first then pay with food cooked to order, plan for a relaxed lunch, dinner, or snack. The Asian fusion options cover a gamut of food styles and include many vegetarian options and marked gluten free options. Service is attentive and professional. I loved the lettuce wraps with chicken and the crispy green beans, prepared to perfection. There is a self-check out to order and carry out or for the items in the open cooler. The trademark Terracotta horse, smaller here at the airport than at the city versions of PF Chang's, gives a historic Chinese flare. The framed story tells the brief version of the discovery of thousands of terracotta warriors and horses, each one unique. Enjoy the history, the horse, and the food.
Panda Express
One girl on the line filling orders. One on the register 30 people in line seen what I thought was the manager. Turns out he's the district manager. I told him these girls need help out here. His response was we're hiring next week and walks in the back room didn't even help with the line of people. Nika. You rock Not sure how you held your composure when you got no support from your management team. You deserve a raise this was at Tampa international airport
This is by far the worst Panda Express I've ever been to. I highly recommend you avoid this one. Food is very bland,
