Pei Wei Asian Kitchen
Pretty darn good. Plenty of sauce and shrimp. I got Kung pow shrimp. Perfect amount of spice for me, the good burn. Lol 🔥🔥 Wifey got Beef and Broccoli, she was happy. We also got crabrangoons for an app they were crispy and good. Waitress was polite. We were there at about 1:00pm 4-12-25
This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, but it seems the quality has gone downhill. The 2 entrees that I ordered were great, but The Asian Chopped Chicken Salad was terrible. The Asian sesame dressing that I got was different from every other time I have ordered in the past and is now more like a honey ginger. The crispy wonton noddles on top the salad were stale and the lettuce is wilted. The worst was the wonton soup, normally a hit in my house, but it tasted sour and looks old. Not fresh like it normally is. The noddles just disintegrating and the chicken filling just floats to the top. All in all pretty gross.
China Star
Noticed the last time I went in to pick up our order, they do not wear hair nets, none of them. However, maybe the ones coming out of the kitchen are not cooking. Then I go in today to pick up come home only to find a black hair in my egg roll cabbage filling. (I’m a redhead) Absolutely disgusting. Lost my appetite and will not order from again. Food is good but not risking eating hairs while I enjoy it. Just a heads up!
I do miss the mom & pops old school, traditional Chinese food. You can really taste the difference. I can't find it anymore. Everything seems to be generic. The girl was very nice but the food was lacking quality. The chicken looked as if it was highly processed slices or even lab grown, I'm not sure. To their defense, most Chinese take outs are this way, but it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I'd love to know if anyone could tell me of a really quality Chinese place anymore.
Great Wall Restaurant
Best “fast food” Chinese restaurant. I am willing to drive the extra mile to go here. They have the best dumplings and wonton soup for a reasonable price. The food in general is just one up majority of the Chinese restaurant around. Would recommend going here.
I have been getting takeout from this restaurant for over 15 years. I just went in recently and it is the best experience and food I have had there! The orange chicken is unbelievable! It is white meat and not chunks of junkie chicken. The lo mein was some of the best I've had in years! The chow mein was very fresh but lacking in flavor All of the employees were super friendly and very helpful!
Canton House Chinese Restaurant
Ordered to go. Not fancy place but menu is real chinese with lots of options, not thai or asian. Prices reasonable, portions large. Our selections served 4 buffet style at home. Szechuan Pepper Steak full of tender steak, peppers/onions/carrots in a spicy sauce. Asked if they could add bean sprouts to house fried rice and it was delicious! Wonton soup served 4, flavorful broth and dumplings had good texture . We spun the lazy-susan on our table to see who got what on the Pu-Pu Platter, no one was disappointed. Happy Valentine.
I've only ordered take out from here. The food is so good. The rice has flavor and the meat is cooked perfectly!
