The Glass Noodle
I have enjoyed lunch here a number of times. I find this is a location that I can even enjoy when dining alone! The large screen televisions play video of Asian street food being prepared. I also like to sit at the bar and watch the chefs create the variety of dishes. The menu includes popular dishes from China, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines…all delicious! I love the soup dumplings and all of the curries! The Thai tea is delicious!
Nice restaurant with decent food. However, I went with my friend who is vegetarian and she was pretty shocked to see lack of options for her. I hope to see vegetable broth here in the future! Other then that, pretty good.
9 Bangkok Restaurant
It’s been a while since I’ve stopped in for lunch on a whim, but was craving Thai and luckily the parking gods opened a spot for me after driving around for 10 mins. Central Avenue needs more parking but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I was quickly seated and brought water, clear broth soup w/ rice and fried garlic w/ scallions(I honestly could eat a large bowl of that) and a crisp spring roll w/ a sweet ish orange duck sauce before ordering. I enjoyed a chicken pad Thai(the best in the city!) w/ a side of jasmine rice for an extra fee. The lunch specials are large and filling, $12.95, worth it. Servers are friendly, food comes out quick and fresh.
9 Bangkok Thai and Sushi has one of only 3 “Destination” sushi rolls which I have not seen anywhere else. “The St. Pete Roll” is amazing. Don’t try to bite a piece in half. Put the whole piece in your mouth and let it wash over you. My pics can’t do it justice. I am posting pics of the menu because it’s not available online unless you open a delivery service app.
Pin Wok&Bowl
We came in early evening and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered the summer rolls which i recommend and I had the drunken noodles for mains- the flavour is quite peppery. My boyfriend ordered a poke bowl which he also said was vert good. Portion sizes are good. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
I order on uber eats so can’t speak to the actual dinning experience. But ordered their rainbow curry soup and essentially just got panang curry. If I wanted panang I would have ordered that, and was expecting a coconut broth not thick curry. I feel like it’s false advertising and not what I wanted or expected. I tried calling multiple times to ask if this was a mistake and cannot get through.
LemonGrass Sushi Thai tapas
Being totally honest the food was good by anyone standard just one of the dishes (cashew beef / no mushroom) we could’ve done without really wasn’t anything special so one star ⭐️ taken away bc of that but absolutely everything else was incredible. The atmosphere is second to none we ate outside and enjoyed the heaters on a chilly 🥶 Florida evening and enjoyed the downtown st Pete scenery service was also good … would highly recommend chicken satay , steamed dumplings and garlic sauce , Drunken beef noodle and pineapple 🍍 fried rice with chicken drizzled in peanut sauce
Lovely Thai restaurant in St. Pete. Fast, friendly, and delicious. We ordered the shrimp pad Thai, Massaman chicken curry, and some shrimp fried rice. Everything came out hot and fresh, the food was tasty and light. A great place to stop by with a nice happy hour that starts at 4:30. The portion sizes were generous and we were happy with everything we ordered! Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu!
