Thuy Cafe
Stopped by for a quick dinner with my wife and wow we loved this place. They had a great variety of Vietnamese dishes and small takeaway treats at the counter. We had a banh mi & the pho special had a rich/savory broth and very tender beef. The pho was also packed with ingredients and very tasty. Delicious bread as well. The service was top notch as well. Really worth checking out if craving Vietnamese food
Ate there for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised on how good the food tasted. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, but there is ample parking. They have a pretty diversity Vietnamese menu and what I had for lunch very tasty. Service was also fast and attentive. I will definitely go back to try other menu items.
SPECIAL PHO
Went here for the first time today on a very cold and rainy day and it really hit the spot! I had the chicken pho and it was really delicious. Flavorful broth and overall tasted fresh and healthy. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
So my wife and I just visited Vietnam a few months ago and this might be some of the better pho I've had outside of Vietnam. Seemed much more in line with a more traditional style yet is a little elevated. Their broth was super flavorful and the portions were huge. The meat was super tender and delicious as well. The fried egg rolls were a little different spin on the simple style but were soooo flaky and tasty. Really, everything was top notch and the service was excellent. We for sure plan on coming back in
Jinju Korean Grill and Sushi
We started with the Angry Tuna sushi roll, which was incredibly fresh. For our main course, we shared the starter grill meal for two, featuring galbi, teriyaki chicken, bulgogi beef, and bulgogi chicken. It was a delicious and intimate dining experience, well worth repeating. Our servers, Chelsea and Brian, were fast, thorough, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Super cute! Food was great and service was even better (Chelsea served us)! We live in the neighborhood and this will be our new spot to host our guests ❤️.
China 1
Unfortunately, the House Special Fried Rice and House Special Lo Mein at China 1 were not up to par. The flavors were bland and the textures were off. I would not recommend these dishes to anyone. Here are some other things to consider when deciding whether or not to eat at China 1: * The restaurant has an average rating of 3.2 stars on Google Maps. * There are no reviews for the House Special Fried Rice or House Special Lo Mein on Google Maps. * The restaurant is open for takeout and delivery only. Overall, I would not recommend China 1 for Chinese food. There are many other great Chinese restaurants in St. Petersburg that offer better quality food.
Do yourself a favor don't order from them find another place and you will thank me. I ordered boneless ribs ,egg roll ,spring rolls, crab ragoo and general chow chicken. We couldn't eat anything the worce iv ever had. What a waste of time and money. Never again. The best place to get Chinese food their closed for the next month (Asian Wok) next to Publix
Red Lobster
We had a great experience, loved the new lobster pasta, my husband loved the lobster flatbread which he says the sauce put on it made it even more tasty! Our server Burke was amazing, super friendly, attentive and prompt! The biscuits as always were yummie and fresh!
Scott was an amazing waiter. He had great recommendations and our meal was amazing!! Thank Scott for everything our family appreciates you and you made our meal even better. We are happy and Full 😁
Ha Long Bay Restaurant
Holy crap! For two vegans living in Saint Petersburg, who moved here from Chicago, good Asian food is always a nice surprise. I forced myself to stop eating for a second to snap a picture. The Spicy Eggplant is as good as it gets, and deep fried silken tofu made the general Tso’s tofu (I know: it was pretty Americanized order from us, but we were playing it safe) light and yummy, unlike all the places using pre-fried tofu for same. My wife also ordered a vermicelli bowl, too, since Ha Long Bay is in Vietnam, we should try one dish right? They heard we veg out And offered my wife an off-menu lemongrass tofu Vermicelli bowl. Guess what? It was amazing, with lemony peppery firm tofu strips that prepared in a completely different way from the General Tso’s (a very good thing). Next time we’ll dive into their vast dim sum offerings (Ha Long Bay’s actual speciality). although it’s pretty carnivor-centric. We left sated, with tons of left overs, feeling for the first time in St Petersburg like we’d found both delicious and authentic offerings.
Great food selection. They have alot of different choices between Vietnamese cuisine and Chinese you should be able to find something you like. During the weekend they bring a cart around with smaller dishes and deserts, this is a great way to try some different things with a group. Service was a little lacking when we went as the waiter only checked on us twice. Beginning and end of the meal. my drink cup was empty for a good amount of time. I would go back, hopefully it was just an off day for the waiter.
