Basmati's Asian Cuisine
This was a great restaurant. Service was wonderful although they were really busy when we came so the food was slow. I did have better sushi (at Old Florida Fish House) but it was still good and our fish was wonderful as was the salad. I would absolutely not miss the fried rice. It was spectacular. Our server tried to talk us into a half portion and we didn't listen. Get the half portion. I don't know a scenario in which you'd get the full portion. Lol Great meal!
Basmati’s was nothing short of AMAZING! Food, service, atmosphere were top notch! Highly recommend the pupu platter for first timers. We had the feeling frisky sushi roll and it didn’t disappoint. The snapper and the grouper were outstanding! We’ll definitely be back.
Thai Chiang Rai Restaurant
Everything about Thai Chiang Rai is truly exceptional! The best Thai food I have tried, and I live in Ft. Walton Beach which is known for its plethora of Thai cuisine. Crab Rangoon is so much better than anywhere, I didn’t even realize I liked it until I tried it here! The prices are a bit higher than average, but it’s completely worth it. Every time I’ve visited, the food has been consistently high quality. Fresh and delicious. They do not cut corners with anything. Obviously the owner has tremendous pride in her food, and this restaurant is her masterpiece! Trust me and go try it, you won’t regret it. And I can’t leave out how gracious and accommodating the servers are! They will always treat the guests with kindness and respect. Also the servers know how to cook the food so they are very knowledgeable. Please go.
Although I will say the service is outstanding, I truly do not understand all of the great reviews. My rating of 3 stars is being generous due to the friendly and attentive staff and the cozy atmosphere… and the meal presentation. (10/10) This place has a full bar, the interior is nicely decorated and well kept and YES - the portions are HUGE as some others have mentioned. So LOTS of pluses - however the food itself is just not good (at all) and it’s quite expensive for what it is. I don’t get all the hype about the food.
Thai Elephant Authentic Thai Cuisine
The food was really great! We drove 30 minutes to get here (the Thai place near our house didn’t look that appealing and we were really craving Thai). The drive was totally worth it! I got the pad see ew with pork and fried tofu and the crab fried rice. My fiancé order the pad woon sen. We will definitely be eating here again.
Went for lunch on a Saturday, there were a few tables taken. Service was great, the waitress was very attentive and provided great service. Food came out quickly as you would expect and it was absolutely delicious. Chicken Pad Thai was wonderful, but it was not very spicy since the waitress didn’t ask me how spicy I wanted it, but it was very good. The crab Rangoons were perfectly cooked and the best I have ever eaten. I definitely will go back and try more from the menu.
VKI Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar
Sushi is mediocre. Rice was not much better. Pot stickers were delicious! Food came out fast, staff were helpful. They have hibachi tables which would be fun for family’s. If you are searching solely for sushi, I would skip it.
Came back into town to visit for a couple of weeks, and my friends treated me to dinner. It was very much a treat. Tennessee can't come close to the quality of sushi I enjoyed. Fresh Gulf to table is the only way. I highly recommend this place. If you have never been here, give it a try. You will return again, I promise.
3 Sons Bar-B-Q
Cute place with a full bar inside. Food is a walk-up service, and then seat yourself. Small outside area with umbrellas and picnic tables, too. Delicious brisket tacos (comes with 2 tacos and hubby and I split them) and mac n cheese (split that too).
Absolutely fantastic BBQ...The food was fresh, flavorful, and high quality...Sauces were fantastic and the sides were out of this world good. Best collards I've ever had. Ribs and Brisket were competition level and the staff was wonderfully kind and attentive.. Highly recommend eating here.
Bayou Bill's Crab House
Nice surprise. Locals recommend this restaurant and it was good. Took 11 people and they accommodated nicely. Greatest were nice, server excellent and food was really good. Grouper special over grits was amazing. Crab cakes were good. Very enjoyable meal. Open on Sunday night.
Seafood Dump! This place is definitely a bang for your buck It’s not too expensive and it has great flavor! Absolutely loved the crab legs and the hush puppies! This restaurant also features its own hot sauce and it is so good! We got 2 bottles to take home as well! Our waitress, Leah was so sweet and on her “A Game”! Thank you again Leah!
Siam Thai
I never normally write a review, but I’m a huge fan of Thai food specifically the coconut and lemongrass soup with chicken. The soup I got from here was the most flavorful soup I’ve had in a long time. Dude out front was nice. Like seriously it was the bomb. Would totally recommend this place :)
My husband and I always come here, they are very quick and the food is always fantastic. They never miss a beat. Always a joy to order and talk with them. 10/10 food and couple. Definitely recommend.
Donut Hole
The food was amazing! I’ve never had pancakes that good. The poached eggs were perfect, and the hash browns were legit. The sausage was just okay though (I got the Sunday special, and my friend had something similar with crab cake). They kept the coffee coming, which was awesome. Shoutout to our server—super friendly guy who handled our table like a pro, even with a ton of other tables to manage!
It was Easy to go to the counter and choose our donuts, with no waiting. We would like to sit and have breakfast, but we just stopped in & got donuts to go. Came around 10a Sunday morning, in mid~November. There is construction next property over, so had to go down 98 and do a U~turn from 30A. Donuts were fresh and delish!
Nanbu Noodle Bar
Man I don't know what happened. Been coming here since 2020 and the last 3 times I've went were just plain weird. This is my tuna roll that they rolled for me. $17. Also why are they so big now? Used to be my favorite "cheap" place to eat on 30A after working all day. Wayne if you're reading this, you're great. This is nothing against you our family has loved the staff but I'm just sick of the inconsistency. From undercooked pork dumplings to poorly made sushi rolls.
Wayne(host/waiter) was our guy on this food adventure. 5 ⭐ for him on this visit . My 16 year old son discovered this place while on vacation and had to take us there. Needless to say, it was a HIT! This is a cozy place with a great atmosphere. The menu has too many great things to choose from for one trip. We feel good about our selections. The 🍶 sake flight was wonderful...I really enjoyed the chance to try the different flavor profiles in one sitting. Oh, the food was delicious and shared by all. We loved this place!!
The Bay
If you are looking for a cool place to eat with great atmosphere, this is it! If you are looking for a traditional seafood restaurant, this isn’t it. The food we ordered was average and the sides were unique. We ordered fried shrimp with green beans (excellent) and potatoes Montgomery (a mix of sweet & russet potatoes with cheese, but mostly sweet potatoes….ok, but would not order again). Our 2nd order was the fried grouper (one average size piece) which was way over priced ($45) and it was over cooked (a bit tough) with braised greens and bacon braised cabbage (both were way too sweet tasting for me and the cabbage had little to no bacon flavor) - wouldn’t order these again either. The atmosphere was great! We sat on the covered patio which was right on the water with great views. There was a beach side stage where they have scheduled entertainment (we arrived at 3:20, so there was no entertainment at that time). The have a big sushi menu and, if the timing of guests is any indication, most must come for the sushi as the place was packed by 4:00 when they began serving sushi. They had happy hour from 3-5 on the Thursday we visited. The handmade margarita ordered was ok, not the best homemade margarita ever tasted. Service started out great but waned quickly. After ordering, our server checked in once after our order arrived, but the we had to ask someone else for drink refills twice and there was a delay getting our ticket. If you are looking for a unique, non-traditional seafood restaurant this might be what you’re looking for, but if you are looking for a really good, traditional seafood restaurant, this would not be your best choice. Next day: Ate at Schooners in PCB and ordered Grouper and got two large pieces cooked just right for only $33.00.
As much as I want to keep this gem to myself… after 4 years I guess I’m ready to share. This is one of our most fav places to eat when we’re in town. Our go to items are the cheese curds, point Washington rolls made in house, blackened grouper or triple tail, and Sandors Ravioli. When the weather is nice sit outside and enjoy the bay views, play some corn hole… Make a reservation if you wanna eat her in the summer! We always have great service and will keep coming back
Steamboat Grill
Bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing! Matt the bartender was on point and never left me hanging. Chilled glasses, cold beer, and a great selection of beverages. Do not underestimate this little spot. Absolutely wonderful!
Service was wonderful and establishment was clean. Lots of tv’s to watch the game! Food was flavorful. Crab legs were a bit on the small side
Roux 30A
Phenomenal!! My husband and I got to sit at the bar and watch them prepare each course. The chef and his staff could not have been kinder or more hospitable! They were both entertaining and informative. We opted to do the wine pairing as well and would highly recommend! Each course looked like a work of art and tasted like a masterpiece. The courses were complex, colorful, and cooked to perfection! My husband said this was the best meal he’s had in years. We cannot recommend this experience enough and we will absolutely be coming back again next time we’re in town!
Excellent experience. The six-course tasting menu had no misses. Everyone in my group was very impressed with both the food and wine. Highly recommend this place.
