New Hong Kong Restaurant
We have been ordering take out for the past 2 years and it’s always good. Pork fried rice is very good. Bourbon chicken and steak with broccoli are our two favorites.
The "Seafood Delight" dish that boasts fresh King Crab, Lobster, scallops and shrimp is a fraud. How they get away with this is a mystery. Fake crab, no Lobster, a fish cut to look like scallops and actual shrimp is what I got. Do you think that we are stupid and don't recognize that a dish has no fresh King Crab or lobster?? Total scam. False advertising. This restaurant has good reviews on Uber Eats so imagine my shock and disappointment. I will say that the Pork fried rice and dumplings were very good. The seafood dish however was a disaster. Not even the white sauce was actually white sauce it was a broth. Bad, bad work. Sadly I have no trust for a restaurant that lies about menu items.
Autumn's Crab
Yum, yummy, delicious! We went during lunch and there were not a whole lot of people there. The friends that took my wife and I said that the place was pretty full in the evening. As delicious as the food was, I can see why. I saw a lot of people come in and out for takeout, too. A family owned local business, which I appreciate. My wife and I built our own combo with shrimp (no heads), crab, garlic butter, soba noodles, and sausage. The combo also came with corn on the cob, potatoes, and broccoli. We got a side of seasoned fries, which were good in the garlic butter that came in the combo. The servers know how to squeeze all the buttery goodness out of the bag, so I suggest you let them do so. The restaurant was clean and well decorated with the appropriate seafood theme. The logo is cute, too, which certainly doesn't hurt. Bibs and wetnaps are provided, and you will need the wetnap when you are done, but it is soooo worth it. Prices seemed fair, too. We don't live in the area, so it's unlikely that we will be regulars, but if and when we are in the area again, it's very likely that we will stop by. I suggest you try this place, just don't tap on the glass of the goldfish aquarium; that sign is there for a reason.
Honestly, we had such a great experience here. My parents love this place, so they brought us here to try. The staff was great, especially our server, Brittany! She was amazing from start to finish!! The food was amazing and tasted great. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!
Subway
*Update - This Subway is now OPEN after a recent remodel. New flooring, wallpaper and art. They did change the configuration of the ordering counter, not for the better, I think the line is going to get all clogged up at busy lunchtime. I usually only go when I get the sheet of coupons in the mail. *Also - bring back Swiss Cheese and Sweet Onion dressing that is NOT Teriyaki! I love Chinese food, but not on my sandwich!
The staff acts like you are a burden to them. The attitude is enough not to go back. If I am going to pay $30 for 2 subway sandwiches, the least you can do is be pleasant. I took the 2 cups to fill my drinks, put ice in, and then found out the iced tea was empty. My boyfriend doesn't drink the soda so I just got him water in the cup since I already had ice. I told the cashier, and she said I should have gotten a different cup and charged me $5.18 for the 2 drinks. So I should throw away a perfectly good cup to use a different plastic cup. Done with them and their attitude.
