China Town II
We really wanted to try this place after the great reviews, but the food was underwhelming. We got the Sesame Chicken, Pepper Steak with Onions, Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, Krab Rangoon. The Chicken had good flavor and was cooked well, but the sauce got lost after the first bite and became tasteless. There was also very little broccoli in this dish. The Beef Lo Mein was alright, but we expected a little more flavor The Mongolian Beef was tasty and cooked well with plenty of beef and onions. The Sweet and Sour Chicken in itself was delicious and not greasy as most places, but the sauce was bland and didn't add anything to the chicken. We found the Fried Rice bland with little to no flavor and more add-ins than rice. The Krab Rangoon was tasty and delicate! Overall, the service was very good and the workers were sweet, but the food did not particularly appeal to our taste buds, unfortunately.
Way too much money for the amount of food you get like other reviews have mentioned. The dinner combos come with rice and soup or appetizer item for $13 and the portion of food is tiny. The soup comes in a little foam cup instead of the plastic containers that every other place gives in town. I ordered 2 pu pu players for 2 separate people and they put it in the same container because they were too cheap to use the extra take out container. $7 for 6 tiny crab rangoons. I will never order from here again.
