Asian Sauce Box
Having tried a few dim sum restaurants in Orlando, we were excited to try somewhere that involved a bit of an easier drive for us to get to. This restaurant is in a shopping area with ample parking very close to I95. We went early, and there was only one other party dining when we arrived. I hope lots more people give this place a try, because I loved it SO much and want them to do really well! We were seated at a comfortable booth and enjoyed the cozy ambiance and modern decor. The menu had everything we wanted, which was exciting. Each dish we ordered came out pretty quickly, and everything was piping hot and exceptionally high quality. The roast pork buns and the steamed egg yolk buns were some of the best we've had. The soup dumplings were perfect temperature and weren't ripped or broken, which can be rare at other places. The shrimp siu mai had whole chunks of tender shrimp. The portions were perfect, and we ended up with several leftovers to take home that heated up well later. I can't wait to go back again & again! Overall, this was such a good experience that we'll pick it over some of the popular Orlando places any time.
I cannot say enough positive things this place is adorable, the food phenomenal and authentic and the family that owns it gives excellent service. It was well worth the 2 hour drive from Jacksonville. I was so excited to have so many of my dim sum favorites but the XO pan fried radish cake was the favorite š š We also enjoy delicious HK style roast duck and boiled chicken with scallions and ginger IYKYK it was so good to have that dish again. It brought back so many memories of my time living China. Give this place a try you will not be dissappear. We will definitely be back.
Takara
We came here for our 5 year anniversary and as first timers. The place looked beautiful and thankfully there was no wait time. We got our drinks fast, and then our soup & salad came out quickly. The soup and salad were great! We got crab rangoons as an appetizer. Those were delicious! Our food came out shortly after. The food looked amazing. I got a chicken hibachi dinner plate and my partner got a Chicken & Shrimp hibachi dinner plate. However, I was disappointed in the taste of our entrees. The chicken had absolutely no taste at all, the noodles were okay, my partner liked the fried vegetables since I donāt eat them and the rice was tasteless as well. My partner liked the white sauce so he poured that and the soy sauce to give it some flavor and liked it. I added some soy sauces but it didnāt help too much. Overall, atmosphere was wonderful. Service was good but taste did not meet my expectations. We may come back in the future to try again but not anytime soon unfortunately.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of comfort and style. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience feel special. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, and itās clear the chefs take great pride in their work. I canāt wait to come back and try more from the menuāhighly recommend!
Panda Express
This location is hit or miss. Sometimes you get lucky and your food is edible but other times you just have to throw it in the trash and go someplace else. I ate here today for the last timeā¦rice was hard and dry . Had to throw it away and go someplace else to eat. Itās really not worth the gamble to eat here. Go just down the street to China Chef - much better food and about the same price.
Just had a quick bite at Panda. Shylar always goes above and beyond to make sure we get hot (and delicious) food. She takes pride in her job and in the food she is serving. She is an asset to this business and should be recognized for her dedication and genuine care for her customers.
