Sushi Masa Pensacola
Went for a celebratory lunch, what a treat. Did the All U Can Eat Sushi, absolutely delicious, fresh and so worth the $20.95. They also have Teriyaki and non seafood dishes for the land lover. It's a nice variety of items and our waiter Michael was super. We will definitely be back !
Our first time eating there & we ordered the all you can eat sushi. Food was great, service was great! We tried a variety of sushi & sashimi & will definitely be back to try more. Jaron was our server & was very attentive & professional.
Yummy Poke
I've been to Hawaii 7 times and never once tried poke' while I was there 😅 I really developed a love for it several years ago and now I eat it quite often. Yummy Poke' in my opinion has some of the best poke' in Pensacola and that's saying something. You can order directly from the menu or you can create your own bowl, which is what I like to do. I usually start with a brown rice/mixed greens base, spicy ahi and either shrimp or squid salad as my proteins and just go from there. I'm a spice lover so jalapenos are always on my bowl as well as the spicy sauces, I prefer mine on the side. And the pricing is very reasonable, I spent $15.00 and the portions are generous. Everything is always fresh and tasty, I find myself craving them quite a bit. If you love sushi and have been on the fence about trying poke', you need to give them a try. I guarantee you that you will be hooked like I am!
The manager was extremely rude . As my friends drink (taro smoothie) came out bitter. We asked if we could get something else instead. Her response was “there is nothing wrong with it.” As we tried to explain to her it did not taste as it should. She simply ignored the fact and still tried to argue with us. I have never experienced such bad customer service, especially from a so called “manager.” Will never return.
HQ Korean BBQ & Hot Pot & Sushi - Pensacola
We recently visited HQ Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Pensacola for the first time, and we were absolutely blown away! The all-you-can-eat model is amazing, with excellent quality food and delicious meat. Cooking your own meat on the grill is such a fun experience, and they have a huge selection of soups for the hot pot, where you can control your own temperature. We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find out that the lunch price is $10 cheaper on weekdays than the dinner price. If you get there before 3:30 pm, you can take advantage of the lower price, although the lunch menu is a bit more limited compared to dinner. Ordering everything on the touch screen at the table was super convenient, and the food was brought to us very quickly. They do charge $14/lb for any food you waste, but I was told this isn’t enforced unless you’re truly wasting a lot of food. The service was excellent, and we will would like to go back again but it is very expensive. It's a great selection of quality of food, but again is very pricey. There is also a two hour limit, which, for the price is kind of limiting. Highly recommend checking it out for a special occasion! **UPDATE** We attempted to go back, and after calculating how much it would have been with the whole family of 4 (3 adults, 1 child) (Approximately $180 with tax/tip), we opted to go elsewhere as although the food is incredible, service, is awesome, and the experience is fun, the price is hard to justify, especially with a couple of kids. They charge adult/child based on height, so a child may have to pay the adult cost if they are tall for their age. I feel this is probably a great place for a couple to go, but if you're bringing a family it gets very expensive.
Tammy took great care of us and helped us through our 1st time there. We had a great time and will definitely go back
Basil & Sprout
The food was amazing, and there was a lot of it, too! My only complaint was that there was a lot of ice in the boba, it tasted great but I wished there was more actual tea and less ice, and the crushed ice made it awkward to drink because it kept coming up the straw.
Ordered the Garlic shrimp noodles and pork eggs rolls. Both were absolutely incredible. The noodles had plenty of garlic and had that sweetness that garlic lends to dishes when it reaches its peal flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chewiness. The flavors were so savory and smokey. The egg rolls were as equally as flavorful. With the well known crispy shell housing tender pork and yummy veggies. If you want your food in 10 secs then go to Wendy's and get some chicken nuggets. Good food takes time and is well worth it.
Shang Hai 2
Have 4 stars due to rice being rather bland but this was first time trying them ordered General chicken lunch special. Chicken and egg role were both excellent
Food is very tasty, just be aware that everything now comes with an insane amount of broccoli. I ordered Buddhist Delight, no tofu at all and an entire HEAD of broccoli. Had to pick out the pieces as they were so large and it left a small amount of vegetables and the rice. Used to be a good deal, now only broccoli. Very sad.
