Solid home style food at a reasonable price. Steamed fish though pricier than other shops. 蒸鱼 贵些 但其他的菜都还好。 Green beans was great with fried and stir fry method, the shiitake mushroom added a nice savory flavor. Salmon head casserole 🥘- the reason why we return. Fatty and yummy, requires some patience and skill to eat. Mushroom mix - to balance out the meal with this light flavor. We loved it. Rice is hard per all Chinese restaurants that need overnight rice for fried rice. $1/bowl but they packed it 😂

Came here because my girlfriend saw a Reel about this place and was not disappointed. Food was phenomenal, we tried the tea smoked duck, the salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper string beans. The salt and pepper chicken was AMAZING, chicken was juicy and well seasoned and it was hot and fresh. The duck was alright, but the string beans were delicious and well seasoned. Will be back! New favorite hole in the wall location, the place looks unassuming but don't let that fool you!

This is a hidden gem in the neighborhood for over 35 years. It's not a place for fine dine and wine. You can dine in which is self serves. They are known for ginger scallion chicken over rice, spare rib over rice, salt and pepper pork chop, and recently I have been ordering the Mongolian beef over rice.

10/10 on the food here. The crispy pork is beyond good, and I love the giant whole wings. I’ve tried a few other dishes here and nothing has disappointed. Service is always friendly and quick. The only knock on this place is the ambiance or lack there of. Not the most inviting outside or inside, but grab your food to go and you will be a happy camper. Enjoy!

Classic Chinese restaurant, which means it's perfect! Brightly lit, very clean, fast seating and service. The food is prepared quickly and served steaming hot or still sizzling. The dishes are really fresh, well prepared and taste great. Also, the serving portions are gigantic - I'll be eating leftovers for days! Highly recommend for the lunch special, or dinner out. You just gotta go!

Absolutely the best dumpling in NY city! Soup dumplings were amazing, along with the pork belly and lo mein. Quick service, staff is constantly present to help you with anything you need.

What a gross place. Paid $3.75 for egg roll just look at the size. Rude and we will never go back. Stay away

Reasonable prices and good taste. Tried shrimp and broccoli with shrimp egg roll.

The food is super great and our waitress was Amazing! Her name is Bo and she is friendly and very personable. Not only did she serve our food but came by to chit chat about spicy seasoning with my husband. The rest of the staff was very nice and it was an exceptional dinner for sure. We will be back.

My family & I have been coming to Jin Jin 88 here on 23rd Street since the spring of 2013. It's a small family-owned/operated 'Mom & Pop' Chinese restaurant with AMAZING food cooked to order promptly, hot, & fresh. They just re-opened this week after a five-month closure due to a forced relocation of multiple long-time tenants out of the 23rd Street Walmart Shopping Center to make room for a new 'Big Box' store. My family missed Jin Jin's cooking SOOO much! It was so awesome to have them back up & running now across the street in the 23rd Street Publix Shopping Center next to Papa John's. The food is just as tasty now as it was before & if you give this place a try, fair warning: you will be hooked! ;)

The food was good and tasted fresh. The food portion definitely was good value for money. It has become my new favorite go to. A good budget meal.

New restaurant! Definitely 5 stars even though my bag was missing a salad (not a big deal). The soup is really good! I'll be here everyday just for the soup 🍲 🙂 We tried a teriyaki bowl as well as beef and broccoli and crab Rangoons. Everything was great!

What could be more exciting than getting an Asian meal smoothly and quickly on the way home? Drive all day with friends. I was surprised to find this Asian restaurant. Clean and fast, fresh ingredients. Especially their sauce is really great! The combination of peanut butter and fried noodles is always excellent. Definitely will come back ! Drive-through Asian food was high-quality real deal!

I was pleasantly surprised by this drive-thru Chinese restaurant! The food was fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, and the service was incredibly fast and friendly. I ordered the orange chicken and beef with broccoli, and both were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious, and the fried rice had that authentic, savory taste I love. It’s so convenient to have high-quality Chinese food without having to leave my car. This place is a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend! 🚗🍜🥡

Calle Dao Chelsea

I chose this place because of the online pics, proximity to Chelsea piers and some reviews. Our steaks were cold. It felt they were super understaffed since it took a long time to get served. Our drinks took forever to come. The restaurant decor was nice.

The dishes here were a bit hit or miss. The appetizers were tasty; however, it's not hard to not execute spring rolls and wontons well. The cocktails were decent, and I would recommend the Ahumada. Now, onto the main course. I was eagerly looking forward to the ropa vieja noodles, as ropa vieja is a Cuban national dish, but I found it disappointing because the meat was too dry. On the other hand, my partner enjoyed the pork belly stir-fry, and others at the table liked the flank steak. The service was good, and we appreciated that they didn’t rush us out since we were the last ones there.

The man was not too friendly. He seemed asked for my ID when I paid , which was totally fine. When I said the order was FOR HERE he told me it is completely different service for here orders and I should have it to go.

The food is always piping hot and the crispy things stay crispy. The soups are freshly made and they use an array of fresh veggies as well. The prices are reasonable - and you get your $$$ worth and them some.
