P.F. Chang's
This seems like a fairly new concept for this chain. I usually dine-in and was expecting the same at this location. The service was ok but the portions were way too small for the price. Sauces, extra napkins, if you need them, and the bathroom were not available. The location was far from the popular hangout areas with only 5 tables and no one attending. Dining should not be an option in my opinion. Parking is behind the building in a 2 level garage. No value.
P.F. Chang’s in Orlando serves delicious food with great flavors! The sesame chicken was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by fresh veggies and brown rice. A fantastic dining experience!
Panda Express
I personally had a new experience with someone named Paul. He gave me the impression of a good worker. In all honesty I used to have a bad experience with a female worker and didn't see her this time. Food was hot, done quickly and had a positive experience with all the workers smiling back.Me being a usual day to day customer normally smiling was not a thing, but looks like that's not an issue anymore.
I don’t know what’s going on at Panda Express lately, but the portion sizes have gotten laughably small. You’re paying for a three-entrée plate and walking away with what looks like a kid’s meal. I’ve watched them scoop barely a spoonful of orange chicken and try to pass that off as a full serving. Really? What used to be a decent value has now turned into a rip-off. I get the concept of “portion control,” but this feels more like “how little can we serve before people complain.” Well, here’s the complaint. If I wanted to pay $12+ for rice with a hint of meat, I’d go elsewhere. They need to fix this. Either lower the prices to match the tiny portions or bring back the value people actually came for.
Zhang Garden Chinese Restaurant
New to the area and tried this place as it’s close to my house. I loved it. I had chicken fried rice and spring rolls. The fried rice had a ton of chicken in it and I asked for extra egg. It was fabulous. It was not overly salty like most places. The man at the front was super nice, and it was ready pretty quick. I ate the spring rolls there because I like them hot. The rest I took home. I really enjoyed both. I will be back for sure!!
Lake Nona, FL. Cheap eats (although a sign says actual prices will be 10c to $1 higher than the menu). Small pieces of sweet and sour chicken and one piece wasn’t breaded so it was deep fried and tough. No pineapple or bell pepper in the sauce although it was okay flavor- wise (it didn’t taste like aspartame). Shrimp in the fried rice was okay but not super fresh like we’re used to elsewhere. Older dingier surrounds. About 5 tables. Sweet teen working the register and letting patrons know when their orders were up. A steady stream of patrons flowed in; this was Friday around 7:00 pm, 7/28. One man complained his wife sent him back because they forgot to pack the sauce. It’s good enough if everywhere else is crowded.
