This was our first try since we moved to this area. We always enjoy a good Chinese take out as an easy meal. This was a decent meal. The portions were very generous and there was good flavor. The wontons were not my favorite but when you order take out fried foods can lose their integrity pretty quickly. We would order again and overall very satisfied.

10/10! Wow I am so impressed! This was my first time here, I pass by it a lot and finally thought why not try it. First off with the customer service! The lady taking orders was extremely friendly and even the men cooking were nice! And then the food and prices! I got pepper steak & pork rice which was a lunch special for only $7.99 and it comes with an egg roll or soda. Fried wontons (pork) and those were incredible! I even love the containers they use! So if you’re in the area give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

This is usually my favorite Chinese place. Unfortunately not this time after I ordered bourbon and it came dried out and definitely not fresh. Usually it’s saucy and so delicious. I’m a bit upset they sent this to me.

It's alright... Coming from Philly where the Chinese Food is TOP TIER this was pretty underwhelming. This place is definitely ran by authentic Chinese individuals but the food was kind of missing something... it was just.. idk.. okay... nothing exciting, like if it was paint then it would be primer, flat white. The service was kind of grab your food and get out, no have a nice day.. no thanks just very dismissive. Would I go back? Eeh maybe.. it's not too far but I'd probably look for another spot before I settle.

I had large order of chicken with Chinese vegetables and Egg Foo Young. Everything was very good. I will get Chinese here again. As you can see in the picture, they use white chicken in the dish, which I prefer. The gravy is for the Egg Foo Young.

Was super disappointed… My Mongolian beef looked like it was mop water, my sons vegetable lo mein smelled like old shellfish, and my husbands meal didn’t come with an egg roll.. This dinner made me want my money back…

The food is really good here again! I am very impressed with the new ownership and my last two visits here! It always was wonderful growing up, and the new ownership really stuck to the old recipes here like they told me they were! They kept their word at that, big win! and I can tell-because this is just like I remember it growing up! Great noodles, rice, and egg rolls! Aa-and! best of all for me, and anyone who really likes General Tso's Chicken, the chicken is moist and tender and actually spicy like it's supposed to be! General Tso's is supposed to be a-spicy sweet dish! Unlike most places in this food genre now-a-days that only make it sweet, China Express here in Lake Wales, does it right! The noodles are even a bit al dente! Rather than a mushy or an overly soft noodle! Thanks so much China Express for the best in the genre around this area at the moment! I will definitely be coming back every chance I can get for this chicken! ❤️ Updated note: the fried rice is excellent! As well as the sweet and sour chicken! I am still working my way through the menu! If I find anything else noteworthy I will update the review as I go, but by far the service from Sarah has been really excellent! It's nice to have the best food in the mall with the best genuine positivity, smile, and Godliness to boot! The chef also touched base and made sure I loved the chicken and that it was spicy enough! I'd say this is the best in this genre for food in Lake Wales in general! You can tell they love what they do and put love into the food and service! Kudos-!!

The lo-mein was "sweeter" than expected and was not as fresh as the rice. The orange chicken didnt taste like orange chicken almost like a bbq flavor but it was still good! The rice was really good fresh and warm. The price was cheap for the pourtion that was given. The cashier/server was really nice and freindly! The tables in the food court were also very very clean.
