China Park
I am amazed at the rating of this restaurant because this is not a 4 star establishment. The rice is ok but it's plain. The "sweet and sour" chicken is just plain fried chicken with some sweet sauce. They wanted to charge me $1.50 more to switch from a can of soda to a bottle and didn't give utensils until she saw that we were gonna eat in the restaurant. Although the food was ok I wouldn't recommend stopping here.
Wow, I’m a regular customer who usually buys 3 times a month. My family was wanting Chinese today so I ordered and spent $50 on them. Tell me why I went to get my drink which is included with my combo and the owner accused me of taking an additional soda which I did not and she verified. Definitely left disrespected I won’t be supporting them no more. I’m a business owner and I would never treat my customers that way.
Kit China
I was really impressed with the food presentation, the chef’s technical skills and attention to detail. The sweet and sour chicken, chicken with vegetables, sautéed ribs, chicken and ham chunks in the fried rice were huge and abundant. The fried rice didn’t have an aftertaste, the sushis were enormous and perfectly rolled, the egg roll nicely filled and big enough for two. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented, but for me, the flavors were just not as impressive as the overall look of the foods. I didn’t hate it, but also I didn’t fall in love with the flavors. I’m still glad we’ve ordered! The four stars is for the abundance of good quality food you get for the price and the chef’s impeccable technical skills. Doordash delivered by Jose
Rice tastes fine, but the quantity of the sweet and sour chicken was very low, literally 7 pieces… I don’t know how you can eat 7 pieces with that amount of rice! By the way, it’s expensive
China Garden Restaurant
I been looking for the best Chinese food that can exceed my expectations because I was born and raised in ny and moved here not too long ago. I am currently pregnant and been craving Chinese food shrimp broccoli with pork fried rice and fries that taste exactly like ny and this is the SPOT!! I am so happy I made the right decision and what makes it even better is that I live 10 minutes away😩😍😍😍 My baby and I are completely satisfied thank you guys so much! 10/1000000 recommend
Really really good Chinese food made to order. I ordered takeout and got home over an hour later to eat and it still was warm. The orange chicken has a really good orange flavor not that artificial citrus taste. It has actual orange peel in it. My husband’s sesame chicken was good too. Crispy rangoons and egg rolls even when not eaten fresh. Delicious chicken wings too.
Li Garden of Haines City
We have been to this restaurant, Li Garden, at least 2-3times per week for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. Nice to go restaurant with great service. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Egg rolls were delicious and Soup was tasty and the dinners we had were delicious. Highly recommend.
I am reading the reviews what everybody posted. Some positive and some negative but one thing is for sure, Speaking from experience. I have gotten hair in my food as well. So not everybody can be lying on this establishment. And when they say the woman at front is rude. That's also a true story. She feels like she cannot accept constructive criticism. If you're wrong you're just wrong period!!! We are consumers we're paying for a service. And we're not looking to be screwed. When when we pay for that, If you order Fried Rice and want extra shrimp, you're not looking for there only to be 3 shrimp in your order when you pay for extra!!! That's not how it works. I have enjoyed their food in the past. But I don't appreciate having hair in my food and when they mess up on my order. I don't appreciate them blaming me like it's my fault when they messed up and dropped the ball!!! I don't have to spend my money with them or patriot them anymore. But people need to know you have a choice. Don't be bullies to restaurants on any post or list, It's your. Money spending the way you want to it's your belly!!!
China Wok
The information on the photo above is outdated ,Dinner combo for January 2,2025 is $10.49 comes with rice and egg roll. The place is ok. Food is good.
Can I give 0 stars ..?? Hustled out of my money for below average food… I was in town from Atlanta visiting family for Christmas. We ended up doing a last minute take out order from here because it was the only thing open. I called over the phone to ask questions, I told the lady we have 12 people to feed, how many people does a quart of chicken fried rice feed (so I knew how many to order)…? She tells me they can do a party tray of chicken fried rice it would cost $37.00 (party trays were not on the menu). I ask how many it would feed they tell me 1 party tray feeds 6. Through the whole time she was pushing me to order, and kept asking me if I’m ready to order … she was very PUSHY. I hang up and discuss with my family what to order. When I call back 3 minutes later to order the party tray and she tells me it’s NOW $50.00 so the price jumped $13!!! She is very PUSHY on the phone for me to order again during this call, I ordered 2 trays of chicken and 1 try of rice to feed the 12 people. When we get home the chicken was 85% bread with hardly any chicken meat inside. Food was average at best. One tray actually would have fed 12 people. For the 2 chicken trays and one rice tray it was $112!! I only needed 1 tray but she lead me to believe I needed 2 trays of chicken and one tray of rice based on how many people I told her I had. So my total bill was $112 instead of the $37 (original price of the one tray I was told) it should have been had they not upsold me into 2 trays of chicken and one tray of rice. In summary I was upsold $70 worth of food I didn’t need and tasted below average, and I trusted the lady to tell me what I needed.
First Wok Chinese Restaurant
Best Chinese food in town. Singapore noodle + wonton soup are so good! Thank you for helping my Dad the other day.
My neighborhood Chinese restaurant First Wok, HAINES CITY, disappointed me. I ordered vegetable lo mein. Asked them not to put snow peas, but to substitute water chestnuts. Received food it was cold. The teaspoon of vegetables was on top. Nothing inside. The vegetables consisted of one sliver of carrot one broccoli head cut into strips One water chestnut cut into quarters about four mushrooms cut in half. Ordered shrimp eggrolls normally get three shrimp only receive two. Nonetheless, they do have competition in the area and I will try them out. Please check your order before you leave and make sure you got what you paid for because as we know price has gone up!! You shouldn’t get less for paying more you should get what you usually get for paying more.
