New Ginger
The food was fabulous. They have an all you can eat menu and an ordering menu. They have thai, japanese, chinese, all asian foods. The sashimi is awesome, and the sushi bar was perfect. This was our first time here, and I will definitely go back many times. I'd say best asian restaurant in Gulf Breeze.
Very friendly staff, but the food was absolutely disgusting. I DO NOT waste food, I am too cheap. But I made it through two pieces of sushi and about 1/3 of the chicken lo mein and I couldn't eat anymore. The quality of the chicken was so poor, the sauce had no flavor and felt so heavy. The sushi was freaking sick, it tasted like minced meat from a can. I could gag just writing about it. I won't be returning, ever.
James Kitchen
I love James Kitchen. Some of the best Chinese food in the area, but everytime I come back the bone in spare ribs have gotten smaller and smaller. The price goes up and the ribs get smaller. This is the Sm for $10, the Large is for 5 more ribs at $20. Please start buying larger ribs again!
This is the best Chinese food ever! Honey Chicken, so delicious. My husband likes the on the bone spare ribs and Pepper Steak. Prices are reasonable. Clean restaurant and very nice people. We will make this our Chinese food our go to.
Lao Ocean
The food was good, however, I ordered online for takeout and was given a specific time to pick up my food approximately 30 minutes later. I went in to pick it up and they said it would be another 30 minutes. So I waited in my car. Went back in 30 minutes later and was told it was almost ready. 25 minutes later, I finally had my food in hand, no apologies, no added perk for the additional hour wait. Also the order was missing fortune cookies, peanut sauce and spring rolls. The restaurant had zero warmth vibe wise. The food was pretty good nonetheless. I will give them another try down the road to see if I can raise this review up. Please don't forget to follow me for the latest in reviews and pics! ☮️☯️👣
We've been coming here for 7 years, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Truly a cut above. You MUST get the Nam Khao -- it is this incredible umami bomb of crispy rice and sausage. The Laab is outstanding, their Laotian sausage too. Really everything we've ever had has been great, but the Nam Khao is the one thing I make sure to order every time!
Lao Ocean
The food was just perfect for breezy cloudy evening! You need to place the order and pay upfront, food is served at table. Every dish we had was delicious.

Taste of Thai Gulf breeze
I recently had a delightful lunch at this restaurant in Gulf Breeze. The ambiance was pleasant, and the two Thai waitresses were very welcoming and attentive. We ordered the Thai Beef Stir-Fried Noodles and the Beef Noodle Soup. The dishes arrived with an inviting aroma that made us eager to dig in.I had the Beef Noodle Soup, which had a rich and flavorful broth that was truly commendable. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was a comforting dish. My daughter had the Stir-Fried Noodles, and she found the taste to be excellent as well. However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement:Beef Texture: The beef in both the noodle soup and the stir-fried noodles was quite tough, making it hard to chew. It would be great if the meat could be cooked to a more tender consistency.Rice Noodles: The rice noodles were not soaked properly, leaving some parts still hard and undercooked. Ensuring the noodles are fully softened would greatly enhance the dining experience.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the service. With a few adjustments, this restaurant could become a favorite spot for Thai cuisine lovers in the area. I look forward to visiting again and seeing these improvements!
We stopped in while we were in the area. The building looked nice so that combined with the reviews, we were expectant. It took several minutes for someone to come from the kitchen and notice us, but we were told to pick any table as soon as they did. The waitress was nice, but a family who came in after us got their food before us. Another waitress noticed it and told our waitress. Our food came out within a few minutes of the kitchen being notified. Our food tasted good, but my husband ordered a level 3 heat. His meal had no peppers at all. By the time he was able to flag the waitress down (she did not come check on us after our food arrived), he was nearly finished with his meal. After paying, I saw a cockroach walk on the seat behind my husband’s head. The service, the food and the cleanliness give us no reason to recommend this restaurant.
Shan Kishi Japanese Hibachi
A great place to stop by and grab some good. They were open on Christmas too. Friendly service and quick food delivery. Everything tasted healthy and fresh. Plenty of parking and many vegan and vegetarian options
AMAZING food and service. Seriously one of the best sushi/hibachi places I’ve ever been to. I’m on a week long trip and already have visited twice! Food is delicious and comes out fresh, quick, and hot. The all you can eat menu is great quality and fairly priced. The workers are the nicest people ever. 100 percent recommend coming here. JUST LOOK at the presentation!!!
Panera Bread
great portions for the price. i always get my deal meal of half a tuna sandwich and soup, never disappoints. also first time trying to strawberry banana smoothie. so yummy!
Overall, the visit was decent. The food was good, as is expected from Panera. The service was adequate, and there were no complaints there. I could not give a 5-star review because of the little things. The glass doors were dirty, and small trash was all over the lobby area floor. The trash receptacles were top heavy with dirty dishes bused by customers. It was like the lobby had been forgotten. Free WiFi was apparently working well as there were individuals and small groups of customers using it. The customer service person knew nothing that was gluten-free and suggested I place the order on kiosk.
Shrimp Basket
Short version: i love Shrimp Basket. I would regularly eat at the one in Gulf Shores. But now i come here and I eat here every time i come down here. Which is every few months. Always good food and good service. Highly recommend. Long version: Ate here twice in one week. Anita was my server both times. She was so nice, answered all my questions, would help me decide what to order, made good recommendations and treated me like a friend. Someone give her a raise!!!!!! ♡♡♡♡ As far as the food goes, in the words of Anita, "it smacks". Their chicken is always superb. Crispy/crunchy outside, but tender/flaky inside. Their shrimp is always delicious. And this time, i got their okra. Also amazing. Their crab is good. I think I'd like it to have a sweeter flavor. It's almost spicy. But still good enough, i ordered it a second time. This time, i had their brownie bites. Never had them BUT OH MY GOSHHHH. i would make a 4 hour drive just to eat these babies. Anita told me that they were crunchy on the outside but gooey on the inside and came with a side to dip it in. I chose chocolate, of course. I had to interrupt her to order. "Stop.... you had me at hello" I enjoyed sitting by the window, watching the sun set. Had to lean over to see the sun, but just seeing the sky change colors was enough for me. There was no one there for the longest time. It was just me. So you best believe i felt like hot snot, enjoying my quiet and AMAZING food. I just had Thanksgiving food, but now i want Shrimp Basket. Can't wait to come back and indulge some more.
Food was good and the staff was very nice 10/10. The waiting time for the food was about 20 minutes plus 10 more minutes to be sitting, they were a bit busy even though it was a weekday (Wednesday), but no issues at all. The waiting was worth it.
Crabs
It was delicious! Great prices and great portions! We ordered the calamari, there was enough for 4 people! We also ordered the bowl of lobster bisque and the shrimp pasta, both really good! And huge! We could've shared just one, but thankfully leftovers taste even better! Great customer service as well!
We were here for a week and was so impressed by our first experience that we came back at the end of our week. Great food hands down! Great atmosphere! Our first waitress was amazing! Our second waitress got upset about her tip and had a complete attitude change. So I increased the tip so that her attitude for the remainder of our time was not awful. We had only ordered 2 appetizers and 2 drinks. Not sure what the problem was.
Cafe Nola
Stopped in Pensacola for the night on a drive from Orlando to Houston. Decided to stop by this place. Nice, quiet place with the nicest hosts. I love gumbo and usually have a hard time finding a good one. I regret only getting the cup, I should have ordered the bowl! With this cold weather that chicken and andouille gumbo really hit the spot. My burger also was huge and full of flavor. My family ordered some seafood baskets with fish and shrimp that did not disappoint. Good service, clean restrooms and great food. If I'm ever back in Pensacola I will stop by once again!
I love this place. We were in Pensacola for 3 days last week and had dinner there twice. It would have been 3 times if I had gone there first. It was very delicious and they were an extremely good host. Our dinners were awesome and very delicious. I highly recommend NOLA the Cajun flavors are real and authentic. Love this place.
Shang Hai
Absolutely worst Chinese food I've ever had. Ordered house fried rice...pork and beef were tough, shrimp were undercooked. Dull, dirty atmosphere. No background music. All self serve after they dump the plate on your table...save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else!
This place holds an emotional connection for me. The steamy, hot luscious food. The caring, wholesome, splendiful workers and service. This establishment is an out of world experience. Its different than other chinese resturaunts. Please hit this up. Who ever made a negative review, Count your days boyy. Google's going to revoke your reviewing license and priveleges because your opinions are god awful. Peace and Love🥰🥰🥰🥰
Panda Express
Ordered a Panda bowl- Chow Mein and steak…. No steak. No one will answer the phone either.
Customer service was fine. Only downfall is they didn’t have any tofu side dishes or any vegetarian side dish option. Had the veggie spring rolls as a side for my plate. This is the first panda I’ve been to that didn’t have a vegetarian side dish besides the steamed veggies.
