Red Rice Kitchen
One word describes this dinning experience, Delicious! First time dinning at the Red Rice Kitchen and from start to finish it was an enjoyable dining experience. My party ordered crispy vegetable rolls, steamed dumplings and seafood Rangoon's, all beautiful prepared and delicious. For main courses we had the garlic rice with shrimp and the crispy chicken soup with egg noodles. Everything was flavored beautifully and again, delicious. Our server was professional, attentive and friendly. Authentic and Quality! Highly recommend visiting Red Rice Kitchen.
I love this place! The atmosphere is peaceful and sweet. The food is authentic and delicious. I had the Pad Kee Mao(Drunken Noodle). It was so flavorful. I love the homemade noodles. And the crispy roll was really good too. The server was so attentive. I felt very taken care of. Looking forward to going back.
Koto Hibachi Express & Sushi
Driving from Florida, back home to Michigan. Stopped in to Koto. Located in Gainesville, very cool concept. Great vibe! The food was fresh made to order. Love the flavor, fresh ingredients! My Wife and I both had the Hibachi Lunch specials. I had steak my wife shrimp. Both were great made the drive more tolerable!
We were looking for something different for lunch and what a pleasant surprise this place was. We decided pretty quickly for having not been there before, and it didn't take long for the food to come out. The appetizers and meals were both big and plentiful... we were able to take the leftovers home and we had a second meal. I highly recommend this for a try!
Asian Wok & Grill
The food is usually good. I'm partial to the mushroom chicken and bourbon chicken, as well as their vegetable lo mein as a side. I cannot, however, recommend the spicy shrimp. The flavor is good, but the ratio of batter to shrimp is terrible. Also, the batter is very dense and kind of like a bland hush puppy. Sauce flavor is good and so is the spice level. I'd probably go with the spicy chicken if you're looking for some heat.
Left ne with the Sad feeling of still craving Chinese food after eating Chinese food. Rice, bland beyond bland, no flavor. Bourbon chicken tastes like grilled chicken. Orange chicken, flavor wise okay however VERY over cooked. Lo mein was the best part, yet still very UNDER seasoned, kind of like a plain wet noodle taste and texture with maybe a tiny hint of I think teriyaki, flavor so weak I cannot be sure. Spring rolls taste like soggy over cooked cabbage, but at least I tasted something, I guess. I was clear I had never been, so I was going off suggestions by the employee and customers. I was hoping for tea to be offered but if it was then I didn't see it, didn't see a sign and surly was not asked if I wanted a drink. This was over $12, plus tip, so about $15 total, kind of wish I had gone elsewhere, well I do wish I did. Best part about my experience was the other customers. One suggested spicy chicken, I was worried about too spicy, now I see flavor isn't their strongest thing I probably should have. Another customer suggested orange chicken. I do not eat much so my plan was dinner for my kids, however, I will be throwing this out and I'll take them to Wendy's for some dinosaur play dough I guess. Disappointed to have wasted money. As a single mom to three special needs kids, I try to treat myself once a month to a good meal that I eat in quiet while they are in school, it's sad this was it.
