Siam Spice Thai Restaurant
Me and my wife wanted to try something different for dinner and I'm so happy we picked this place. It's real authentic Thai food for a great price for the portion size. I got the pineapple fried rice with medium spice and it was amazing 10/10, a little sweet with a kick of spice made for a very satisfying dinner. We also got the coconut yuca dessert and it was very different than anything I've ever had but also very good. Not to sweet and served warm with coconut shavings on top, it kind of had the texture of mochi, a great dessert to round up our dinner. And the part that topped it all off was the restaurant owner, he was very sweet and served us well. I highly recommend this place for anyone.
I’ve had Thai food all across the country, but nothing compares to the incredible experience I had right here in Daytona at Siam Spice! We enjoyed the most amazing dinner—the pepper steak literally melts in your mouth. Every single dish was absolutely delicious! The owner is such a kind and soulful man, and his passion for food and cooking shines through in every bite. It’s truly inspiring to see someone so dedicated to their craft. If you go, you have to try the coconut yucca. Words can’t even do it justice—it’s out of this world!
Chart House
We ate there on Monday about 7pm and the upper floor was already booked for the evening, there is downstairs open seating, but I would highly recommend making a reservation. Our waiter Greg was fabulous. We shared the shrimp cocktail that was delicious and served over hot ice. The chart house chop salad was a little wilted. I was not thrilled with the mushroom truffle butter nor the bleu cheese butter, and the garlic mash potatoes were a little over the top with garlic flavor. We had the 7 oz filet and 14 oz NY strip both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Loved the bread. The lava cake was very rich and yummy. Great cocktail menu with some unique choices. I loved the fiery cucumber martini. Inside and outside seating, lovely views of the marina. The entire staff (especially Greg,) was friendly and very accommodating.
I just love the Chart House Restaurants! Every time I go, it is such a pleasant experience. They have an early dine menu that you have to ask for because it is not offered. You can request this menu from 4pm to 6pm, but you must be seated and ordered before 6pm. I usually call and request reservations at 5pm in a booth by the water front window. I just love watching the sunset here. My server, Austin, tonight was just amazing! He was so on top of everything! I had the early dine Prime Rib dinner that comes with 3 cheese garlic mashed potatoes, Clam Chowder or Salad, and dessert with your choice of Creme Brulee, Sorbet, or Ice Cream Sundae. Their Creme Brulee is my favorite! It has such a nice perfect crunch on top as you can see in the picture. They also have a few of their appetizers that are half price. I love the Spinach and Artichoke dip! I highly recommend coming for the early dine and don't forget to get a Landrys membership for $25 a year! You get a welcome bonus of $25 to use at any of their Restaurants. Plus, when I go to Downtown Disney to one of their restaurants, they take me right in instead of waiting 2 hours! You also get another $25 reward on your birthday! Well worth it over and over!
Zen Bistro
Excellent restaurant, very relaxing outdoor seating area. The food was fantastic, with credit to my server for helping me out with some great recommendations as well. The Chicken Skewers were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The Fried Banana with Ice cream was crispy, and subtly sweet with the honey on top. The entrees such as the Spicy Fried Rice was over priced for the quality and not having any protein they still charged 20 dollars for it.
Zen Bistro always lives up to its name 🧘•*•*•* the food, space, atmosphere (inside…and outside especially🍃!), the incredible staff(Nikki, Olive, Leena, and all the others!)…everything is wonderfully zen☺️. We love Thai food, but have also taken friends and family who aren’t as familiar with it, and they have enjoyed it so, so much!!! We really appreciate how easy it is to order vegan🌱, too! Simply let them know and they’re super accommodating. 🙏 Thank you always for the delicious food and chats while dining there you all!! 🙏✌️🙏
