Chef Peng Chinese Restaurant
Hidden Gem in Garrett. Worth the drive from anywhere for this food! Generous portions, crispy chicken and big egg rolls. The Orange chicken is especially flavorful. Never liked Egg Drop Soup till I ate it here. Employees are very nice. Food comes out hot and fast. Try it you wont be disappointed!!
What a delightful find! Food was excellent and service was great! The three of us had combination plates and crab rangoons as an appetizer. Yum! Orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and chicken & snow peas.
China House
I'm 80 years old and I've been eating Chinese food for over 50 years. The boneless ribs from this place are absolutely NASTY.
I’ve been getting food here for close to 3 years and it’s always been absolutely amazing!!!
Asian Taste
This is my evaluation of the 4 P. 1 Place. Is comfortable to be big enough to have no more than 15 tables. And parking is enough for 4 wheelers. 2 People. Is self service so do not expect someone to really attend a table. Nevertheless people always have a good mood to take your order. 3 Price. $$ Not expensive and you will have enough of what you pay. 4 Product. Food. Mouthwatering taste, you can distinguish between species and meat and vegetables al dente. Simple word is delicious. And the legend which is a blessing in Chinese says.. I hope their business will get better and better.
My family went to this restaurant Sunday lunchtime. We ate in the restaurant. I had the happy family with house special fried rice and an egg roll. My husband and daughter had general Tzo chicken platter came with fried rice and egg roll. My granddaughter had chicken lo mein. Our lunch was served to us in carry out containers. Good thing too, as we needed them for the leftovers. The food was wonderful. Hot, fresh and flavorful. We'll be back!
A&M Atlantic Seafood, Inc
Go here! Find her! Eat this! THIS is just what I needed! Atlantic is a place to buy seafood where they will also cook a meal for you. Gretchen is fabulous! She kindly helped me with choices and was friendly and proficient. The lunch they prepared was battered catfish & shrimp with fries and two tasty sauces. The catfish & shrimp were amazingly fresh, moist, and flavorful. They came with cocktail & tarter sauces to top them off, yet their flavor was great without them. The sauces must be house made. They were so goood! The cocktail sauce was lightly sweet. The tarter sauce was savory. They are both thinner than usual and I liked it a lot. The fries had little or no salt. That allowed the flavor of the potato and oil to shine. The fries were crisp and creamy, which is my favorite combination. Every single bite elicited an involuntary "MMM" ! It was that GOOD! Chose lemonade. It's great without being overly sweet. I'm so glad I stopped here. The food was as good as you find at sit-down restaurants, with fast food convenience and a great price. This humble place NAILED IT!
First, things were going well. I ordered food for my great uncle and me and waited for it to be ready. I asked if the fish and shrimp lunch meal came with fries, and the lady in the front (Gale) said no. I ordered onion rings (which were ridiculously $7.00, but since my great-uncle wanted them...I got them). She brought my food out: one meal was correct, and one was wrong. I explained that I asked for the fish and shrimp meal and ordered onion rings because of what she said (the wrong meal came out with fries, which let me know it was wrong). She wanted to argue with me up and down about what I said. I decided to pay the difference in the meals so my uncle could get the shrimp (if it were up to me, I wouldn't give them a penny more). At that point, I was frustrated because my food was getting cold because the cashier had heard what she wanted. But it gets worse. I paid the difference with cash, but unfortunately, I didn't have the exact change. The owner takes my money, closes the cash register, and tries to walk off. I then called her back to the front and requested my receipt and my change. She gets an attitude and literally takes almost ten minutes trying to come up with a receipt and locating my change. The lady who couldn't take my order correctly and heard what she wanted returned to the front, trying to be snappy. I told them to just give me my money and my receipt so I could leave. The moral of the story is that not only can they not get orders correct, but they also try to be slick and keep your money. I won't be returning. I'm also thankful I didn't pay with my card because I don't trust them (they also still attach the debit/credit card fees). Also, if you are military, they don't provide discounts like everyone else in the area. I recommend driving a little further and supporting another local business.
