We Like This Place - And You Can Eat In For some reason, it's hard to find good Chinese food in the Cape Coral area. We moved down to this area recently and asked friends and neighbors and we always here about two large buffet places. Nobody ever mentioned China Wok. We were in the area and wanted a lunch so we stopped in and we're glad we did. Just as many small Chinese restaurants, they offer anything off of their regular menu and also have a lunch menu attractively priced at $7.75 which includes your choice of Egg Drop or Wonton Soup, or and Egg Roll, or a Soda in addition to your entree which also comes with Pork Fried Rice. This is not a fancy place. Plastic silverware, napkins, packets of sweet n sour sauce and hot mustard are at one end of the front counter for you to self serve. Basic laminate covered tables and benches are there if you want to eat in. I ordered the Shrimp and Chinese Vegetables, which was supposed to have some spiciness, and a Soda for us to share. As I enjoy Hot N Sour Soup, I ordered a Small for an additional $3.95. My wife ordered the Chicken and Mixed Vegetables with an Egg Roll. As we waited, we noticed a brisk lunch take-out business which always indicates that the food must be good. We could here the clanging of the woks in the kitchen and our dishes were brought out to us quickly. The soup could not have been any hotter temperature wise. It had to be just below boiling point and I prefer it that way. The flavor was enjoyable and as I have found, every Chinese place has a little different flavor when it comes to Hot N Sour soup. This had a nice blend of spice from chilies, vinegar, vegetables and tofu in probably a chicken based broth. This container was actually enough for me for lunch, but I had to try my Shrimp and Vegetable. I didn't really notice any heat from spice so I added a few drizzles of the infamous Chinese hot mustard and that did the trick. Six medium shrimp with a variety of Chinese veggies in a tasty sauce accompanied by pork fried rice. I had a few tastes and took the rest home for lunch the next day. My wife's Egg Roll was just ok. Veggie based, not a lot of flavor. Sweet and Sour sauce and mustard added some flavor. Her Chicken and Vegetables was excellent. Plenty of chicken and veggies in a sauce similar to mine and the same fried rice. She brought home about half. When you can get good tasting Chinese food and get it at a lunch special price, it's even better! We have gone back several times and will visit again. Try it!

The fact that they get to walk away with my hard earned money, makes me sick! The fact that they even let food leave their restaurant looking like this baffles me! This is the second time I’ve ordered from there. The first time was for my kids with the babysitter so I didn’t eat. It never would’ve gotten my business again whole heartedly believe I deserve my money back as this food was not edible.!!!! If I could post my video I would y’all would laugh I couldn’t even break it and it was so dry it stuck together 😂🤦‍♀️

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The dumplings tasted rancid. I threw more than half of the meal away because it was so bad. The egg roll was edible. The people working were nice and the inside of the restaurant was clean.

1130 lunch and we were the only customers. Boxes piled all over. No wait staff. Kitchen cook came out to take order. Told no water so we're given cans of coke. No sure how you cook without water. No condiments on tables so we're given a bowl of take out sauce packs. No waitstaff during entire meal. Lunch without soup or egg rolls. Fried rice flavorless and wet. Believe the reviews, and go elsewhere.

They are not a luxury restaurant. So, you might expect some standard food. And they do it good. I like the food here. No problem with anything. And the price is still very small. Compared to other places. Very good place, and the interior i would say better than other places like this one. They have remodelling at least.

I came here for lunch on Saturday and had a great experience! Ying was very pleasant and gave me great recommendations of what to get when I was not sure. she made the right choice for me! The restaurant was very clean and neat. It has good AC so you can sit and enjoy your meal. The menu is also very easy to see with great pictures. I can tell that they care about their customers by making it easier for everyone to see what to order. It also has a great view of the parking lot filled with trees and people going about their day. And added bonus is that it's right next to Publix so you can stop by for a quick bite after shopping. Or place your order before and it will be ready when your done. I would highly recommend if your looking for good Chinese food, great atmosphere and a friendly staff. Tell them I sent you for a treat!

I have been eating at this restaurant for at least 9 to 10 years. Tonight I ordered something I’ve ordered for many years but I do not order the same thing every time I call. My order was received and was incorrect. I called to have the correct items sent to my home and I would send back the incorrect items to the store. I was told this would be handled. A few minutes later I received a phone call back from the restaurant explaining that there was a two dollar price difference between the two incorrect items and that I would need to pay four dollars to have my order corrected. after a yelling match between me and the owner I promptly told her that I would never eat there again. There have been many times in the past that they have sent me incorrect items or have not sent items I’ve ordered at all. Very few times have I called to complain. Mainly because I’ve been eating there for so long and I love the food. The owner told me I ordered incorrectly tonight and it was my fault and therefore I would need to pay the four dollar difference. I will leave reviews all over social media so that other customers can see that after a 9 to 10 year relationship with a customer this restaurant doesn’t care about customer service. DO NOT EAT HERE! This restaurant obviously has no concern for the customer. This is absolutely disgusting that a restaurant owner would call a longtime customer requesting four dollars for their error. How petty can one owner really be? And from the reviews I’m seeing seven hours ago it seems as if they’re petty as another customer had the same problem. Maybe the restaurant owner should realize that customers are what keeps her in business.

I usually love this place and it is the only one I ever go to. My order is always orange chicken with white rice, steamed dumplings, and Rangoons. I believe they have the best orange chicken on the market, and love that they incorporate real oranges into the food. Today I recently ordered on DoorDash the orange chicken. Now keep in mind, when you go in person, they say it takes between 15-20 minutes to complete your order on a typical night. After a couple minutes of me placing the order, the dasher was already there waiting. It only took a few minutes for me to receive a message that it was finished. I ordered the orange chicken, white rice, and steamed dumplings. The sauce for the steamed dumplings was EXTREMELY salty, and I know it usually is soy sauce based, but this was like pouring salt on your tongue. The dumplings were perfectly made, but the orange chicken was absolutely vile. I have never had orange chicken that tasted of burnt cornstarch in water with a hint of orange peel. It was gummy and lacked any and all flavor. I knew right when I opened it something was wrong, but I gave it a try anyways and it was inedible. DoorDash is an incredible company that took my complaint seriously over the quality of the food and issued a full refund. I’m really disappointed in whoever was cooking tonight. Whoever is cooking is going to lead you to incredibly horrible reviews and lead people to stop going there. I still will eat with you guys because I know the kind of quality you typically serve, but I will stop if this is consistently what I receive.

NASTIEST FOOD EVER! bourbon chicken literally taste like cleaning supplies.. and my chicken wing meat was pink and NASTY, I tasted the blood while eating the meat. I’m literally sick to my stomach do not eat here y’all.

Very Disappointed 😞 ordered Pepper Steak combination platter. Fried rice was watery with no vegetables or pork in it. The Steak was watery with no taste. Whole thing was very bland. First time ever I had to put salt on Chinese Food. Egg Roll was OK but didn't have much flavor either! Been Eating Chinese food all my life and I have to say this was not even close to real Chinese Food

Food is delicious. Bought 2 dinner combo dishes, the beef in the beef an broccoli was tender and delicious, the pork lo mein was great, the egg rolls were great too, the boneless ribs were great too and so was the fried rice. Huge portions. Pic one is all the food left over from fixing myself a plate the day before. Pic 2 is the second plate I fixed, enough food for 4 people. Also go there yourself and support a small business, the menu is online and you can call and order, instead of DoorDash or UberEats which takes up to 30% of the price and charges delivery fees and only pays the driver $2 plus tips. and the prices here are a bit less than where I used to buy from.

This is my second time calling this people to curse them out because they charge you lot of money and give you less meat, less food. Please find another Chinese place to go to if you want to be satisfied. You can see my food is full of big size onion and green pepper and less chicken that I paid for. That was pretty messed up, I called and complained to them about it and they said that’s how they make their food. Beware of where you buy your foods and don’t get ripped off. I wish I could even give a 0 star.

Do not order here. The beef chow mein is 3 pieces of beef and a whole onion and no noodles. The cheese rangoons are more greasy than cheesy. Spicy chicken had no spice.

Worst chinese food I’ve ever tried. Rice was dry and súper salty. Also, delivery guy was rude and disrespecful. Never again

I ordered fried rice & wings. Yesterday. The rice was horrible no flavor at all the rice was in clumps had no eggs had no soybean it was just yellow rice, I could have made that at home. Very disgusted this place was pretty good. At one time I will never order from China Express2 ever whoever is cooking back there need to get it together. Give the customer better quality food that’s what we paid for. Disgusting food is what you’re serving. Whatever you do do not waste your money there it’s a rip off.
