I love finding new places to eat. I'm not sure how I have missed the Sunny Wok for the entire year plus that I have lived here in Bradenton but I am definitely glad that I found it. It's right next to the Goodwill just off of 70. It's pretty much what you expect from a little Chinese restaurant. It is a clean little shop with a half dozen tables. And of course the great scent of the food being cooked in the kitchen. I ordered two of the lunch specials (which is served with either white or fried rice and either an egg roll or a can of soda). I ordered the bourbon chicken and a beef with black beans and vegetables. I also ordered a large egg drop soup. Both lunches were great and the egg drop soup was spectacular tasting and had a fantastic amber color. I will definitely be ordering lunch from Sunny Wok again.

😊Honestly, I was surprised. This place was out of the way from my work but it’s totally worth it. I wanted to try somewhere new because I tried so many Chinese restaurants in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, and Palmetto. This definitely my favorite now. It took about 15 minutes from an online order which was fast, and the people were extremely nice. 👍🏼The food was really good. Not too sweet and not too salty, perfectly seasoned and not bland either. I especially like their Mongolian Beef and Stir Fried Bean Sprouts.

Best Chinese Takeout Food Ever! Their fried rice is the best I have ever tasted, their dishes are delicious and savory. I love this place and I miss them so much when I moved away.

SUPER fast service, GIANT portions, even our extremely picky girls LOVED their shrimp lo mein pint, also huge, and when I asked for EXTRA spicy Mei Fun with only shrimp and veg, they hit the nail on the head - it was exactly what I wanted and needed and it hit the spot! I may ask for extra shrimp, veg, and noodles along with the spice next time! I’m just sad that my husband let our cats steal my leftovers…I was REALLY looking forward to finishing that meal for lunch today. But I guess I’ll just have to order it again today! Definitely looking forward to getting my favorite staple dish that I’ve been ordering for the past 15+ years from this establishment again later today!!! 😋 only con was with my husband’s meal: his chicken was a little *too* breaded, not really enough actual chicken, and the larger pieces needed cooked a little longer, but a few minutes in the air fryer fixed that. Everything else was excellent, right on down to the spring rolls, and this will most definitely be our new go-to takeout joint for Chinese food. 🥰

Easy to order online. Pick up timely. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant odor in the place like rancid oil, which my food (House special Mei Fun) smelled like and I couldn't eat it. the sesame chicken was OK (though usually not a fan) but I ate my husband's as I couldn't stomach the noodle dish. It was very sweet, tons of sugar. Overall, It wasn't great and I'm not going back. Also, the place is very dirty and the staff, unwelcoming. Pretty disappointing. :(

Fantastic food and very quick, efficient service. We dined in after a long day at the beach, and every dish was exactly what we were looking for. Delicious and hot. Super tasty, huge portions. Very kind employees as well. Ambiance was perfect for a speedy service oriented Chinese restaurant. Will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend. This is supposed to be “bourbon chicken” ….I cannot eat another bite of whatever this meat is. It is 100% absolutely NOT CHICKEN. I’ll leave eating real American-Chinese food to being on vacation NOT in the state of Florida, because not a single item of it here is even close to being edible.

Standard "Chinese food". My daughter and I shared sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. We also tried the dumplings. Exactly what you would expect it to look and taste like. It's not much for dining in (four tables), more of a take-out joint for sure. My daughter was bummed she didn't get a fortune cookie.

We've been going to Chen's for years. We usually call in our order and pick it up in 15 minutes. Their Shrimp/Chicken/Pork Fried Rice is always fresh, hot and delicious. We'love their Beef and Broccoli, Pepper Steak, Lo Mein and Egg Rolls. All are great.

I moved to FL from up north like 11 years ago. The crag ragoon in fl has never been up to par. This place however is the only place ive been to in 11 years where they are like the ones ive grown up eating. They aren’t the small little triangles its literally the best ragoon around. I went 11 years disliking one of my favorite take out foods until i found this place! Ive ordered honey and sesame chicken from here also and it was amazing.

Located in the Harbor Freight plaza, signage isn’t great. China One is located two doors to the left of Harbor Freight. There are three tables to dine at but the ambience is geared for someone who’s got ten minutes to eat before they have to get back to work. It was apparent that their main business was takeout even during lunchtime. The chicken was well cooked, very succulent and the veggies were crispy not overdone The rice was too salty. The cashier was friendly enough. Too far for us to comeback for takeout but if you’re within five minutes of China One it should be on your takeout list. We came at the end of Covid.. Today. Talk about big differences. Rating. Dimsum king =3 Jummie house =2 Dimsum kitchen....number 1. Just like to eat at home with full service All fresh made ingredients no freezer packaging. They also have Peking duck. Will come back.

Great spot for dim sum. The food was very fresh and had tasty ingredients. They have a pretty diverse menu anything from noodles to actual dim sum. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again. Be prepared to wait a while for a table. They only have 8 tables and usually one server.

Best food available for miles and miles and mile and miles and miles. My favorite dishes are: Hunan Chicken (pictured) or Beef Curry Chicken or Shrimp Singapore Mei Fun Mushroom Egg Foo Young Best Egg Rolls ever! Sweetest and kindest service

Wow, This review came together over the last few hours, and believe me, this will be my go to place to eat at least once a month. I could see how other reviews were spot on just coming inside to place my order. Woman at front was very very nice and professional even having to take care of multiple orders being picked up. Now, just finishing some of this great meal and saving the rest for a midnight snack, I couldn't have made a better choice today. Thank you, you will see me again. Really super tasty food.

Love the Krab Rangoon. I see a few reviews complaining about it not having any fake crabmeat and that’s fine with me. I’ve never had a bad meal from this restaurant in the 3 years I’ve been getting my to go fix from them. It’s a little pricey but so is everything else.

I will admit upon reaching the destination, the environment around the store can seem a little off-putting to some. But going in, the food was ready for me very quickly. Process was easy, and brought the food home. First impression from first time visiting this restaurant: Food: I brought the food home, and none of us are talking while eating. We are too busy eating, and everyone, exclaiming, "MMmm" The whole time! This is probably the best Chinese food I have had in this area. Everything tastes much more fresh, and the chicken on a stick is amazing! We got the general tso chicken Aunt sweet and sour chicken, with pork, fried rice, dumplings, and chicken on a stick. Five stars, no question! We will definitely be back for more! This may be our new favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Bradenton.

I will have to say that the bourbon chicken was freaking awesome! I came here for lunch during the week and wow was I happy about my choice. I ordered the bourbon chicken with the pork fried rice and egg drop soup (soup was great too). The prices are fantastic, especially on the lunch menu. I will return.

I have to say when I picked up my dinner and bought it home I was absolutely appalled of what you now serve! We have been coming to you for the last three years and it was always big chunks of protein and vegetables and just simply fabulous. Today I picked up what looked like cat food very sliver chicken mixed in noodles. I got the wrong soup which happens…however and I am shocked that you have changed and degraded your quality ….your concept. I am a food executive professional in the business. I support our local restaurants, but this definitely has to be reviewed and upgraded and you know who you really truly were and what you provided.

I usually don’t write Google reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. My girlfriend and I first came here after Hurricane Milton, when it was one of the few places still open. I wasn’t a big fan of Chinese food before, but their dishes completely changed my mind. Today was my third visit, I had the beef pad thai and they even gave me complimentary tea just to try! It really shows how much they care about their food and want people to enjoy it. The people here are so genuine, and the food is honestly incredible. Highly recommend!

Everything was amazing. I’ve never been served with such kindness, the owners were generous enough to give us a free item for spending over $100 and extra of things. Showed us what the food looks like just in case we didn’t like it. Such an amazing place, gave us free HOMEMADE green tea which was delicious while we waited and the decor was so beautiful. Really amazing place I recommend. Food was phenomenal as well!!!

Last night I decided to try this place because I was in the area. I ordered my go to favorite which is the chicken chow mein with light chicken and extra sauce and WOW. It was delicious and perfect flavor, lots of flavor and perfect blend of veggies, chicken and sauce. They also give you a mountain of food enough for three people. The egg rolls were equally as delicious as well. I will definitely be back 😋

Ordered off door dash and it blew us away. We weren't expecting much but wow.....the Chinese food here was probably the beat we've had in the area. We ordered sesame chicken, Szeuan chicken, chicken fried rice, dumplings and egg rolls. Everything arrived hot and it was so good. We were given so much food and we ate everything. Highly recommend.
