China 8
Every time I eat from here, I like it even more. This time I chose to dine-in, instead of take-out, as I usually do, because my mother was with me, and was too hungry to wait until we got home. Peter, the owner, treated us like family and royalty at the same time. The food was so fresh and delicious, as it always is, but even better because we started eating it immediately after it was served. They make the best shrimp with mixed vegetables and peppers steak, plus their shrimp and cabbage egg rolls are the best in town. When Peter saw how tired my mother looked, after her medical appointment, he was so kind to serve us some of their delicious egg white cloud soup (egg drop soup), which was a perfectly delicious and light way to break our fast, since we hadn't eaten anything all day and it was almost 3pm. He also served us a sample of his aromatic edible flower tea, which was also very generous and kind of him. I think I will start dining in, instead of taking it to go, from now on. The place is very clean and the atmosphere/ decoration is very inviting, in spite of the small space, with only a few tables. I'll start coming here more often than ever before, after this experience. Thanks again and best wishes.
My family absolutely loves China 8. The food is always perfect and the Hot and Sour is delicious. I haven’t been here in while but today I was craving their Hot and sour and few other things and the young man that answered the phone and rang me up when I picked up the food today was an absolute delight. His manners and attentiveness was exemplary and I couldn’t be happier. Other restaurants could take lessons from this young man on how to treat your customers. The kind of service he gave me today makes you feel generous and you want to tip. Thank you China 8 for the wonderful food and service you gave me . You made me smile
China Wok
The best Chinese food in town. The honey chicken is always hot and fresh, the fried rice is very tasty with huge bites of pork. My wife loves the soups here and the dumplings appetizer is also very good. The lady at the front desk is very nice and will treat you like family. No delivery, only pickup, but it is worth the drive!
Fried chicken wings and fried rice platter really good portion for the price chicken wings with fried perfectly. $14 for all this
China Star
🥡 Food: 5/10 🍽️ Portions: 6/10 ✅Quality: 5/10 👩🏻💼 Service: 5/10 🧼Hygiene: 5/10 Not good and not bad. Less oily than other Chinese restaurants but the quality of the food is not the best. They have a lot of rice options which is amazing! The vegetable fried rice is so so good. But I’ve never seen a Chinese resturant that serves chow mein without veggies and i didn’t like the chicken it had a weird after taste (I tried more than 1 kind). We ordered sweet and sour, orange chicken and bourbon chicken some meals come with white rice. The box of rice is very adorable but it’s small😆I don’t think I would give it another try but in general it was ok
Both our dishes were delicious and surprisingly, exactly the vegetables we wanted. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful. I noticed their sign said New York Style and I am guessing that style adds more seasonings. Love this version. This one became one of our favorite restaurants. They were also very kind to us. Give them a try!
China Max
Tried it today through door dash. Honestly a little disappointed because they had a 4.6 rating so I expected better. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and they gave no sweet and sour sauce. I also ordered egg drop soup and it was so thick it was almost jelly like. I did enjoy my pepper steak and rice and egg roll but we also noticed the fried rice didn't look like fried rice it almost looks like it was rice tossed in a bowl with soy sauce and pork.
Didn't know about this place until I came across it by accident. What caught me was their menu said "New York Style" So being a New Yorker, I had to try it. Now I've lived out of NY for over 30 years. I occasionally go back and when I do, I go t9 all my favorites spots for pizza, bagels, Italian food, Puerto Rican foods, and of course Chinese food. Well my favorite spot is in Brooklyn, Park Slope on 11 street and 5th Ave. I remember almost every Sunday getting some. Knew the owner and also his family. Even when I returned a few yrs ago, the son whom I've known since he was born, now runs the place with his father proudly overseeing the store. When we ordered our food from China Max and got it home to eat. I said let's see how really NY style they are. I got the Sweet & sour chicken for the hubby. I got the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice and egg roll for me. Then a seperate general yso chicken combination platter. We also ordered the Egg Drop Soup and some spring rolls. The main test was going to be the egg drop soup. I've lived in many different stated through the years and have yet to find the perfect egg drop soup. We'll I found it!!! China Max has it! One taste of it and WOW it took me back to 11 st and 5th Ave. All their food did!!. You won't be disappointed!! Portions are great. Service is excellent and I definitely will be back for more. They are located in the Publix Shopping Center in Belleview, a few doors down from MetroPCS. There closed on Monday's.

China Max
We used Grubhub tonight ordering from China Max in Leesburg. After looking at the package the driver was delivering and then once in my hands, I realized the bag was not only very small, but only weighed like only a pound or so! It was the smallest Chinese food delivery I have ever received for $40 for sure! Pepper steak, General Tao chicken, white rice, and spring rolls, UNBELIEVABLE RIPOFF! Portions were ridiculously small and the the taste worse than any Chinese microwavable meal from the freeze I have ever eaten! Terrible quality. Six slices at 4" X 1/4" of meat. Maybe it was beef but hard to tell? The spring rolls were just awful as well! Dry and really overcooked to almost a burnt taste. Do yourself a favor, order frozen Chinese delivery from any local grocery store and cook it in your oven or microwave. You'll not only save money but you'll be much more satisfied with your meal.
Grew up going here as a kid was one of the best. I have lived out of Florida the last eight years. Just moved back. My husband run up to got dinner for us. Never dreamed the food had changed this much. This is supposed to be an order of sweet-and-sour, chicken teriyaki and lots of rice. I took this picture as soon as I opened it, and this is what we paid for!?! Definitely not the same place doesn’t even taste good at all. Very sad. Can’t blame this on Covid!!
China Liu
Pretty good food, I ordered the orange chicken and fanta, the orange chicken was bussin😋🥡
I would say quality over quantity. The meat was perfect not thin and rubbery The sauce was excellent They had no problem making me a special order of chicken and broccoli with orange sauce I love the orange sauce but hate the breading. Very nice explained everything food tasted awesome
New Wasabi Buffet
I took my wife to try this place out for dinner. I knew it was a buffet, so I'm trying to be fair in my comparison. We went at 6, and there were about 25 customers. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. I started at the sushi bar. The rolls contained minute amounts of fish, and were moderately fresh, but tasteless. Some of the sashimi looked a little limp and dark, so I stayed away. The pepper shrimp were too hard to try to eat. The Gen Tso chicken, broccoli chicken, and fried dumplings were par for a buffet, as were the string beans. I don't expect too much from asian buffets, but we were shocked to get the bill... $12.99/person and $1.50 for sodas? There are too many excellent take-out spots in the area for me to ever justify settling for this food at these prices.
Fantastic food. I have been 3 times now and i just love it. If you are thinking about going, you won't be disappointed. I am not a fan of sushi with too much raw fish, but their sushi is presented so beautifully and even my non sushi type friends were eating it. Can't wait to go again.
Panda Express
Ordered online for three people. One entree was wrong- missing the ordered chow mein. Fried rice extremely dry on two entrees. Very expensive for the quality. Didn’t include requested sauces- we requested teriyaki and sweet and sour. First time ordering and was not impressed at all. Went to go on to panda to reach out about our experience and was unable to reach out because all of the required information- store number, order number, etc. They certainly don’t make it easy to provide honest feedback to them as it seems they place many hurdles in the way.
Longtime fan of Panda Express. Have eaten at various locations. New restaurant in Mount Dora is pretty much the same. Clean, well run with great tasting Chinese fast food. I stopped in twice last week. The staff was friendly and service was great.
