Sichuan Pavilion
Food was big family style dishes. Chicken with hot dry peppers is a must. If you haven’t tried Sichuan chicken before and you like hot food then you definitely need to. Such a weird and cool experience. It’s spicy but in a different way.
Cozy Chinese spot on K street. No reservations when we walked in for dinner but they can get busy. Food comes out extremely fast (less than 5-10 minutes from when we ordered) and the menu is large. Recommend the kung pao chicken but other than every other dish was average at best. Prices are a little expensive for Chinese but you are in DC.
