Suki Hana
I get suki hana a few times per year and usually have a good experience. It's pretty solid for the price and typically one of the best places for food at the food court. Unfortunately, I will never eat here or at pretty much any food court restaurant again. I ordered the number three shrimp teriyaki with noodles and steamed veggies a couple hours ago, had a bit, then stored the rest in the fridge. Just now I'm finishing my leftovers and almost went for a bite until I saw this. I'm so grossed out. If you're seeing this and got noodles on Monday October 21 2024, praying for you.
Saw my colleague eating beef with broccoli and asked him where he got it. Drove 10 minutes here and ordered the chicken with broccoli & fried rice for $10.50. Good portion size and the broccoli is quite fresh. The quality is better than I expected for Chinese fast food. Don’t expect authenticity. Pretty busy but the line moves quickly as they have a staff jotting down your order on the take out container once you hop on line. Smart move 👍👍 I’m happy with the meal and would come again to try the chicken teriyaki.
Kabab and Curry
Really delicious food, I’d recommend to anyone and definitely try the malai kofta! We got a bunch of dishes, some of our favorites were the malai kofta, fish pakora, garlic naan, and mango lassi but everything was honestly great. Malai kofta was super creamy and flavorful, fish pakora was breaded in a really well seasoned batter and was very crispy yet light, and mango lassi was really yogurty and tasty. We also had lamb Rogan Josh, palak paneer, samosas, and partha, all very good. Family owned and staff were super friendly!
This spot was a welcome surprise. Came here on Christmas Day for lunch and it was pretty quiet. My family and I sampled a huge variety of appetizers, entrees, breads, and drinks. Everything tasted pretty good and I'd come back without question for the food. The biggest problem was the service. While the younger gentleman and the cook were very nice, the woman who was mainly working the tables was very passive aggressive. She would throw things onto our table and then tell us to pass things around on our own. Whether she was trying to be rude or not, it was very off-putting. We heard another table complaining about the same. I hope that she's given more training on what being a waiter entails. Service issues aside, the food was great and I'd come back.
King Garden
My brother has been hyping this place up. Such a disappointment. Worse Chinese food ever!!!! Got 4 different meals all horrible. Chicken was dried out and over cooked couldn’t even chew it. The Kung Po chicken wasn’t even close to kung po. Save yourself go somewhere else!
Kudos to this new discovery! I have found my new Chinese food take out spot! Their wings are definitely the star of the show. The portion sizes are more than enough; i have not been able to finish a meal in one sitting yet. There are no dine in options, but the staff are friendly and usually very with my order. Even the next day, the food still tasted just as good.
Sakura Japanese Restaurant
2 to 3 years ago, Sakura was legit one of the better AYCE spots in the Tri-State area. Whether it was food from the sushi bar, kitchen, or even the dessert which is only available during dinner. However, on my most recent trip a year ago, the quality had fallen off. I don't know if something was off that day, but considering the distance I had to travel to get here, I wasn't willing to take my chance again. They have a good selection of items from both the sushi bar and the kitchen. No matter what, you need to try their chicken skewers. Absolutely delicious. Hope they get their quality back. Their service is on the friendlier side compared to other AYCE locations. Overall, you can get a tasty meal here at Sakura if it's the Sakura I remember. And being located in Delaware, no taxes on your bill! My biggest gripe with Sakura is limiting each customer with 50 pieces of Sashimi. An AYCE should be AYCE without such restrictions. And in my many trips here, despite there being a limit on sashimi, they never give you what your order. For example, I order 20 pieces of yellowtail sashimi, but I only get 5. The sushi bar needs to be more accurate with their orders.
The service was good. The Shrimp Tempura and the Avocado salad were good. The sushi didn't hold together well, despite the cream cheese. Too many unnecessary fillers in the sushi. I would not order the Spider Roll again. I did not like the shredded artificial crab. The saki tasted okay, but was weak. The wasabi was very good.
Asian House
A very friendly, family-run restaurant with amazing food and excellent service by Shawn! The sushi rolls are fresh, and every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. We’ve visited multiple times, and the food and service are always outstanding. Elvan, the little brother, is the boss! ;)
Asian House is a hidden gem. We’ve been coming here for years and is our #1 go to for delicious food. It never disappoints. Most of the time we get take-out, but every once in a while on the weekends we dine in. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Tonight we had the best server named Shawn and really enjoyed ourselves.
Little Spice Indian Cuisine
I grew up in a predominantly Indian neighborhood in queens, NY, so needless to say have been lucky to have had great Indian food! That said, Little Spice blew my mind when I first moved to Delaware. It has quickly become my favorite Indian restaurant I’ve ever visited. The chicken majestic is outrageously delicious and the service great!
Been coming here for years now. The food is out of this world. Usually I get the biryani or curries, but I Had a Mandi here for the first time today, and I hope this is here to stay! Hopefully you guys have a Mandi special more often! Amazing flavor, everyone needs to try it
Wilma's
The Shrimp and Grits & Fried Catfish were delicious and our server was AMAZING. It got a little loud due to a child's b/d party being held in the mini bowling alley, but we didn't mind. I will definitely return!
We had an amazing experience! We tried the Thursday tasting menu special and it was so much fun. We got to try 12 different things on the menu. The pork belly and crab dip were amazing! The crab cake and shrimp and grits were equally delicious. There were great gluten free options. The manager was very friendly and answered all our questions. The space was both historic and modern. We would definitely come again. Even took home a Photo Booth souvenir!
Orange Deli & Grocery
Food could be better, service can be better, atmosphere inside the store alright but cluttered with homeless people outside.
I wish they'd stay open later, but other than that, it's a regular convenience store. Always clean and well stocked - they've never once been out of what I needed! Any miscommunication is always smoothed out politely. I really admire how efficient the employees are at ringing up customers. They have 3 different lines for lottery, food orders, and other purchases - a great system IMO. They clearly understand that people want to be in and out as quickly as possible, and always seem to pay close attention to which customer is next in line, which I really appreciate. Even when it gets super busy, they're much better at managing things than most convenience stores.
The Opulent Restaurant & Lounge
It’s hard for me to put into words what an amazing experience we had here. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and helped guide some of the less adventurous eaters in our group. There were many remarks made by our party about the chicken and lamb being the best they’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return and see what else they have to offer!
My friends and I went to Opulent on their 1st Saturday night open. We loved the ambiance in the dining room and the lounge. The lounge wasn't open that night, but they allowed us to check it out. There's also a private vip room. Because they had just opened, they struggled with a few things like drinks and orders, but the waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and fixed every issue that we had. They even comped anything that there was a problem with, so excellent customer service. The food was very good and we will definitely be returning!
New Dragon Chinese Restaurant
Excellent Quality & Value If you're looking for excellent Chinese food to go at a good value then this is the place. There are slightly (only slightly) cheaper places in the neighborhood, but not at the same quality level. The service is quick and friendly. I've visited many times over the years and the ownership has not changed. The orange chicken and the steamed dumplings are especially recommended.
Best Chinese in the area! Food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Very speedy service. Staff is very friendly. New Dragon has been and always will be my favorite Chinese take out spot!
WINGS & THAI STATION
Thai spicy food was amazing. I like spicy food and this place was good food and service as well.
The chicken was undercooked the kids didn't notice until they finished a couple The flavors were just ok the fried bananas would have been good if the crust was crispier so basically everything was undercooked The best part was the chicken egg roll delicious all the flavors came together perfectly especially with the dipping sauce the outside was a little soggy but the flavors made me forget about the sogginess I would only recommend the egg roll
Minato Japanese Restaurant
Me and my husband followed other reviews and ordered the pineapple ice tea + fried rice. The portion was generous and the food and drink were so good. 5/5
I've been getting food here since I was a child and it has been amazing since then. Tiny, quaint, family owned. Owner is pleasant. The system they have in place for ordering food could use some refinement and the location is somewhat inconvenient, it also gets a little pricey for larger sizes and the portions could be a little bigger, but I would suffer through it every time because the food is sublime!
