I ordered fried udon noodles and chicken corn soup today. The noodles were delicious and the soup was fresh. They also came with snacks. The only downside was that the chili oil was only a little spicy for me because I can eat very spicy food. I will come back to order food from this restaurant!

One of the best Asian restaurants in this whole area! Eat in or take out. Great lunch specials. A favorite of ours!

We've been here twice - once on a regular week night when it was dead and the second time was New Year's Eve. The first time, service was great and food was very fast. We didn't think much of it because the place was deserted. On NYE, the place was packed to the point that you couldn't move and yet the service was incredible. We were seated in about 10 minutes (with a reservation), server came over right away and the food was on our table in under 15 minutes (!!) Perhaps I had low expectations due to the insane crowd but I've gotten slower service at Taco Bell when we were the only people in the restaurant. I'm not kidding. Food is very good and pricing is cheap compared to most. I'm disappointed to see the # of poor reviews for the place because I couldn't recommend it enough. Maybe we were just lucky both times.

Used to love coming here for great entertainment and atmosphere, especially during karaoke where the entire family would enjoy. Literally have photos and videos with my child at the lounge during a karaoke night. Tonight I tried to sit in the lounge with my daughter and was rudely told we can't sit there with a minor, even though she is clearly accompanied by an adult. When I approached the owner about this he claimed they haven't allowed kids in the lounge since 2015, yet I have videos and pictures with my daughter sitting there just last year in 2023. Not only did he suggest I was lying but he was very short about it. Haven't been to a restaurant with bar/lounge that didn't allow a minor accompanied by an adult, especially for a fun activity like karaoke. It's not like this is a club. Very disappointed. Used to love coming here but now suddenly feel unwelcome because we are banished to the restaurant and unable to participate in karaoke night. FYI there are plenty of other places around that are more welcoming so if you're going for atmosphere and entertainment with your family I'd recommend checking out literally anywhere else.

Service was excellent. You can do hot pot only or bbq only or both ($5 extra). As soon as you place your order on the iPad the dishes magically appear. It’s all you can eat, but only order what you can finish! You can also order soft drinks and cocktails, but just stick with water. And if it’s your birthday, let them know!

Great place for Korean BBQ! Everything came out quickly and the servers switch out the grill plates between marinaded meats. They’re very efficient, servers are always around to help. We will be back for hotpot!

The STEAK BOWL is my new go to post workout meal. Border Grill, though tiny in size, offers HUGE flavor across a variety of classic Mexican dishes. They are open for dine-in, takeout, or delivery via the usual apps. In an area with so many great spots to fill your belly, Border Grill MUST be in your rotation.

Great food, prices and the portions are above generous. Service by Luis is OUTSTANDING so are the lovely Chiquitas! They do an awesome job preparing everything fast and accurately. 1st time there spent $50 had enough food for almost 2 days! Great sauces. Everything you would want from a Mexican restaurant is there. Forget Rio Bravo, Puerto Vallarta and all those overpriced Mexican foo foo places. Border Grill is the BOMB!

One of my favorite restaurants in Westport!! We had the veggie burger, Brussels sprouts and the eggplant with tomato and enjoyed every bite of it. Large portions for an okay price. Though it smells like a stable/barn in the restaurant it’s a very nice atmosphere. Would love to see more vegan options that have protein but still happy with the veggie burger. For sure coming back again.

This is your classic American restaurant with a large menu filled with options for appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, bowls, and entrees. For appetizers we ordered the pretzel bread dip, and crispy brussel sprouts. As entrees, I got the KFC which is the Korean fried chicken with kimchi and pickled veggies. My friends ordered a healthy bowl, with options to add an egg or fried chicken on top. Food was very good! Portions were absolutely HUGE. I left feeling very stuffed and very much needing a nap. The meal was very hearty and comforting, but quite on the heavy side.

What an incredible restaurant! From its magic stunning decor, to it's gorgeous food presentation and the attentive friendly staff that brings on the good times! We ate and drank our hearts out. We had mocktails and cocktails, dumplings, double tacos, egg souffle, seafood pancakes. I actually can't eat seafood and they were so accommodating of that, made my food first for our entree and to perfection. We all loved our meals and has a great time interacting with the staff. They made it an incredible experience! Dessert is also a must when coming here! Perfect spot for anything: date night, family night, a celebration or even to grab a meal alone!

10/10 experience and I could not recommend Gogi enough!! The food was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to come back. So many amazing protein options which makes for the most amazing Korean bbq experience!! The appetizers and sushi were amazing as well.

Tiger Bowl- Southport, CT Tiger Bowl is a small, intricately designed Chinese Restaurant located on the Southport-Westport border on Post Rd next to Michael's and Village Bagels. The service is impeccable service is unmatched but the food is what takes this place to the next level. There are dozens of Asian Restaurants in the area, but the freshness, and unique combination of herbs, spices and cooking techniques makes Tiger Bowl stand out. The fried chicken delights(IE Sesame, General Tso, Lemon, Orange, etc) are unlike your standard chinese fair. Unlike other restaurants the crispy fried chicken is crispy on the outside, but magically soft in texture on the inside. There is a certain fluff to the inside of the chicken, almost similar to a corn dog batter. The soups are perfect for a cold winter's day, and the beef dishes shine as well. My only critique is with the bonelesss ribs and spare ribs. Thought cooked nicely the sauce is a bit heavy and way too sweet. In an area oversaturated with restaurants this is THE Go-To for delicious Chinese food for the whole family. They currently do not allow guests to dine in(thanks Covid) but are available for takeout and delivery 7 days a week.

First I tried my wings and they were gross and had no flavor but I was willing to let that go until then I opened my food and there was a spiral piece of silver something in my boneless spare ribs so I just had to leave a review. The food is really not that great and not worth the gamble of getting things in your food. Would definitely not recommend

Super delicious! This store is the best here! These are rare good stores in Connecticut! The service from the people here is also top notch! And very clean! The speed here is also the fastest! 100% store

My boyfriend and I came into this restaurant a bit unsure of what to expect but were happily surprised! Our server had such a wonderful smile (even through the mask) the entire time. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, the presentation original and the price was incredibly fair! Will definitely be returning.

Fresh large pieces of shashimi! Delicious. Fantastic crab Rangoon. Fried rice dish not enough duck or pineapple. Little bit bland. Dragon Roll delicious.

Stopped by this place for lunch on our way through I-95. You can always assess a restaurant by the simplest, most basic dishes. This place knocked it out of the park. Will definitely return the next time we drive through CT.

So glad that there's top notch Peruvian food in town! I ordered online when I was in Darien and was in Westport within minutes - my Lomo Saltado with top sirloin and sweet potato fries (and a cup of Tres Leches for dessert) were all ready for pickup! Love their newly designed space and storefront big screen menus above. When I got home, saw that they use sustainable packaging and kept the food warm enough to eat without reheating. The beef was tender and so well seasoned along with the red onions and tomatoes on top of french fries and a generous portion of rice. Honestly had to save half for dinner and I was still full after both meals. Tres leches was creamy delicious, not too sweet and I also split that for 2 meals. I really didn't need the side of sweet potato fries, but I downed that too! The spicy rocoto red sauce was good, not killer hot and of course the Peruvian green sauce was excellent. I bought an extra 3 ounces to keep in the fridge, ha! Oh, for those of you coming in from out of town, park on Franklin St, don't park on Saugatuck Ave because you can't.

I really hate to give this place a 2 star review, but I was not impressed by what we ate here for the cost. We ordered 2 lomo dishes. Was super pumped to have found this place because it was near to us. I will say it was very easy to order online and it was ready when we pulled up. Now for the food, the portion size was okay, but not great for $18 a plate. They also offer different cuts of meat that would cost more. We opted for the top sirloin. It was nicely cooked and tender, but had no flavor to it. I think the reasoning for this could be because of their packaging. I have added photos of what I'm talking about. They use a very thin paper-like container that absorbs all the juices that the lomo naturally has. The container also starts to fall apart as you are eating. This is a big issue because this is a take out place. The plantains are five out of five. That was the best part of the dish. The rice was on the dryer side which didn't help the plate. The onions are a great touch, but there are too many of them. I'm not an expert in this dish just giving my opinion. Tomatoes are also cut on the bigger side. Overall wouldn't pick this as our go to spot. The major turn off for us was their sauces. For some reason they tasted like straight pickles which is not a thing that they were used to when it comes to Aji. Had that not been the case it might have given it a better flavor. Again I hate to give it a 2 star because I want this place to be a 5 star, but it's just not. I'm sure their other plates might taste better, but if you can't get the sauce and the lomo right it does not give me much hope for the rest of the dishes.

Very welcoming and catered to by staff! The food presentation was picture-perfect. The taste of each plate was a different experience to enjoy. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate and played great music. You must make reservations ahead of time in order to dine in. Overall, I would say the food taste was an 8.5 out of 10, but the service from all the staff was a firm 10 out of 10. I would recommend this place to those who love Sushi.

This review is purely on the "omakase". While we went into this knowing it wouldn't be completely traditional, I think omakase is a huge misnomer here, and a prix fixe dinner is more appropriate. There were a few bites that were really awesome, and then most other things were a really blah. I think we would've been better off and much happier just ordering sushi ala carte. First, unless you have the actual four person table, the chef's counter is kind of an awkward place at the expediting counter, which is cool on one hand seeing the orders, but still doesn't have a great view on any prep, and also is a bit irritating when everyone keeps kicking or knocking into your stool as they pass through the narrow corridor that you're seated in. There's literally no way around this. Second, like I said before, there were maybe three or four items that were spectacular, and the rest of the nigiri was very blah and unmemorable. The ending savory dish is an entree of cooked salmon which is perfectly cooked, but if you're at a sushi restaurant, why would this be the finale? Finally, we had entered our dietary restrictions when the reservation was made. The staff also confirmed multiple times with us during dinner about those restrictions, which we thought was really attentive. So we sit through a 2-3 hour dinner, with them knowing our restrictions the entire time beforehand, only to come to dessert to find out that they didn't have any dessert for us at all. It was incredibly awkward as it was presented as essentially they didn't have anything for us, and there weren't any alternatives being offered either, just "we don't have anything." Like, not even maybe offering a matcha, or dessert wine, or comp on the cocktails that we purchased aside from our alcohol pairings..? Just, ok, while you paid for a set menu, you don't get part of it, and you just need to be ok with it. All in all it was a really disappointing experience for something that we'd been really excited about.
