Asian Imperial
First time at this restaurant went there for lunch. The pork fried rice was amazing! I ordered mixed vegetables with beef, I think they relied on the sauce to carry the dish but the sauce was mediocre. Cost $13, portion was okay Came with fried chicken wings as an appetizer which were pretty good Staff was friendly and efficient Overall do not think I would eat there again
This place has really dramatically (and sadly) fallen off in the past year. While the dining room is gorgeous, something nefarious has been happening in that kitchen. The past three meals I've had with my family have been awful. I took my Father out for his birthday in July. Absolutely none of the three dishes we ordered had any spice, and two of them were missing items listed on the menu. We ended up sending back two of the dishes, but it could have honestly been all three. Takeout orders have been abysmal—twice now, they've forgotten items that we ordered and paid for, causing us to double-back, which in turn results in cold food. The General Gao's in particular has been incredibly mushy and lacking in spice lately, and today, I'm finding carrots in our Hot & Sour Soup. Is anyone checking these dishes? It seems like the kitchen has all but given up on maintaining their previously high-standard of quality. All while their menu prices rise, of course. Did another business poach their chefs in the past year? If so, please let me know so I can give them my business instead. All our past love for this establishment is gone.
China Garden Buffet
I don't know what anyone else's experience has been like, but we arrived on a weekday afternoon. It was a moderate crowd, but the service was good. Food was on point, all of it hot and fresh. As for variety, sure, it's not as big as a mega buffet in the city, but there was certainly enough variety for my wife and I. We have been to bigger buffets that had less quality, less variety. The wait staff, clearly family, were friendly and helpful. And here's the kicker: That is most certainly the cheapest Chinese buffet I'd have ever had. Again, we noted experiences at bigger places that perhaps had more variety, but certainly less quality and charged twice as much as we paid. Sure, from the outside, this is a dated Red Barn that has been changed into a Chinese buffet, but it was warm and clean inside and an enjoyable experience overall.
i always enjoy my stop here. the value is incredible!!! less than $12 on a saturday afternoon! theres icecream you can scoop and lots of options. :)
Great Wall Kitchen
Ordered a large lo mein w/ broccoli and received 5 pieces of broccoli. Ordered 2 vegetable egg rolls which they forgot to add, and gave me 1 spring roll instead.
HORRIBLE Delivery service. I ordered and was told 25min for delivery @5:05 pm then called back @5:40pm asking where my order was. Was then questioned about my phone number and was told it's on the way.. 20 minutes late I'm still waiting at 5:56pm... Was also told my food was on the way after having to listen to her attitude when I ask if I was gonna be receiving cold food. This place Is 5 minutes from my home. Horrible Horrible Horrible
