I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were incredibly tasty.

First time, last time. Ordered General Taos with white rice and broccoli. I also ordered fried dumplings . My wife ordered shrimp with mixed vegetables and white rice. We both ordered a coke. First, when I got home I realized they didn’t put the cokes in the bag. Had to drive all the way back. The worker said (as she laughed), “I forgot, you forgot”. No I didn’t forget. Then the food: the General Taos chicken was completely dry and hard….and mostly batter. I don’t know what was in the dumplings, but they were not pork and they were small and flimsy. The sauce for the shrimp was too thick and had no flavor. My wife did like the rice, so they have that going for them. Lastly, they charged .75 for an extra dumpling sauce. Go at your own risk….

This place has immense potential to be great! The people here are incredibly kind, and the service is top-notch. I want this review to serve as inspiration rather than a critique. However, the food could definitely use improvement. The location is wonderful, but the sliding doors are dirty, and the chairs are old and should be replaced. There is rust and mold in the ceiling—it definitely needs a revamp! Please know that you all are wonderful; if it’s possible to give the place a facelift, that would help immensely. Keep up the good work—I'm sure this place can become what it once was, or even better!

The lobster bisque is excellent. The pork tacos with mango salsa have a unique flavor and are good too. The staff was very pleasant and Marco was a great server, quick, friendly, and efficient. It's pretty much all seafood so if that's your thing I definitely recommend it.

Sushi X2

Probably the best value for money sushi in Fairfield county. Definitely the best value in Stamford. The ambience is alright not fancy at all but comfortable and clean. Sushi is very good quality they also have a good selection of hot dishes as well. All you can eat sushi for about $30 dollars, can’t really beat that. Pace yourself and if order accordingly they will make you pay full price if you don’t eat the majority of what you order or if you waste food. Staff are friendly and respectful. My only complaint is that they don’t have eel or shrimp on the sashimi menu and they get annoyed if I don’t eat the rice on the nigiri side, but no big deal.

been going here since my college days. food has tasted consistent, very delicious. best bang for your buck here in stamford. great selection of appetizers, sashimis and rolls, even though its AYCE. service is fast and the food never disappoints ❤️❤️

October 26, 2024. I had been wanting to try out this place for several months now, ever since a friend shared their exceedingly positive review about this South Indian vegetarian restaurant. It had a lot of items that are usually not available in typical `Indian' restaurants in USA which invariably are mostly `North Indian'. Overall, the food was tasty, authentic, and affordable ($80 for 3 members). We ate the following. 1. Adai avial (அடை அவியல்)-- The adai is slightly oily. The avial was good, lots of veggies, and a tad too much of asafoetida (பெருங்காயம்). 2. Andra masala dosa was very spicy/hot! The waitress did mention it'll be spicy, but it was way more than I expected. 3. Idly (இட்லி) -- soft and nice, felt fresh. All chutneys had a separate tadka on top while being served, it felt excessive. 4. Cauliflower -- Was oily and crispy, and I didn't actually expect it to be any different. It was okayish. 5. South Indian meals had several veggie dishes, in addition to sambar, rasam, dal. a. கோவக்காய்(Tindora) korma - had a rich gravy. b. கீரை பருப்பு(Spinach dal) - was chewy. c. பாகக்காய்(Bitter gourd) in tomato gravy - was okayish. This was another member's item, and I just tasted a few sub-items. 6. Ada pradaman (அடை பிரதமன்) -- Nice and sweet, combination of coconut milk and jaggery was nice. The rice (or was it coconut?) flakes were too many and also felt a bit undercooked.

This is a home run. Amazing food. Great service. Reasonably priced so an outstanding value. We got two combo platters- one from North India and one from Southern India. It was a great call because we could try many dishes. Also highly recommend the coconut soup! I have eaten at kosher Indian restaurants around the world and this one was really really outstanding food.
