East Meets West
It’s not bad but not great. The spare ribs are very tough and the organs flavor is very overpowering. I’ve had better.
Best Chinese food you can get in the area . Moved to South Windsor and sun sun absolutely sucks! Now back in area and finally have great food available!! Try this place it’s the best! I have seen a bad review but every restaurant has a bad order every once in a while. Just one time out of maybe 100 I had rice that wasn’t the usual but that’s normal anywhere. Love this place !!
Wang Palace
Food looked old and tasted terrible no sauce on my Lo mein when I called them they said I needed to asked for extra sauce here what the food looks like would you eat this
I've been going there for over 3 years and the food was always good. I must say that the last year or so, there food had gone down a bunch. I ordered pork fried rice. No pork, no onions no damn eggs. I will never go there again. Time to find a new spot
Sushi House
4/8/2025 .Stopped in this afternoon for an late lunch/early dinner. First-time here. I was greeted quickly. Very clean. Quickly ordered and delivered to my table. I ordered a bunch of things from salad to green tea ice cream and Fried Oreo . Everything was delicious . I will say i didn't feel welcomed by a few staff members but the male staff member was personal and attentive and why i didn't give a 5 rating .
Love this sushi place! All you can eat sushi is one aspect but their regular menu is nice too for vegetarians like me! Love their vegetarian sushi and kids love all you can eat, some special rolls are very good too! Food is fresh and delicious! Miso soup was perfect to start in cold weather.
Casa Mia On The Green
I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Casa Mia on the Green, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes, and every dish was prepared to perfection. My 25 friends and I were all impressed by the flavors and the generous portions. The service was equally outstanding, with the staff being attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. A special mention must go to the manager and staff, who went above and beyond to make the celebration feel extra special. They were professional, welcoming, and made sure the entire evening ran smoothly. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers’ experience. Overall, Casa Mia on the Green made my birthday celebration one to remember, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a memorable experience
I was there during a business Christmas party and still I was treated like gold. I had the lobster bisque first, at $10, the could easily charge $15 and get no complaints, it was outstanding with lots of lobster chunks. Next I got their version of chicken picata, only it came with vegetables, I substituted angel hair pasta, it was very good, but not a true chicken picata like I know, still very good. Dinner salad only $4, complimented with Bread, butter, and cheese. I can't wait to go back.
Lava Hibachi & Sushi Bar
Staff was super friendly! Super cute and clean place. They were on top of getting drinks when we needed, they give you water automaticly and kept them filed. All you can eat hibachi and sushi, but they also have hibachi were they cook in fount of you. If you're picky and only like deep fried sushi they only have one roll that is very basic with crab meet and cream cheese.
We came here for the AYCE option. Food and quality of the sushi was absolutely outstanding. Prices were great. Happy hour is also a wonderful deal. We will definitely be back. The only critique we have is that a few of our items did not come out with our first order of food but it came out the second time we put it through. They definitely seemed to be short handed the night we came in but the service of the staff, atmosphere and food quality was beyond worth it. Glad to have another all you can eat option so close by. Definitely recommend
Bhog Multi-Cuisine Indian Restaurant
I came here from Boston on recommendation of my friend. The Food: The Haleem was excellent. The Jedipappu Kodi was too good, crispy on outside and soft inside. The Biryani was good. The Service: The food arrived in right chronological order and hot. The thing I liked the most was the honesty of the restaurant owner/manager. I would have ordered too much food, he suggested that what I ordered would be enough for me and my fiance. Such a gem of a person.
We had an amazing dining experience at Bhog! The food quality is superb, with rich flavors and authentic spices that make every dish stand out. Despite the high quality, the rates are very reasonable, making it a great place for a satisfying yet affordable meal. The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great Indian dining experience! We’ll definitely be back.
Tavern on 3
Was a good experience. Brought a large work group here. Started off with appetizers, Bang Bang Shrimp, Nachos, and Fried Pickles. The shrimp and nachos were good. The pickles were overcooked. Drinks were free flowing and mostly timely. Cocktails were just right. Dinners ranged from Fish to Calamari to Burnt Ends and more. My burnt ends were a little too literal. I ate everything. They were over overcooked though. I have been here for lunch and both times were good for the most part, although Id suggest being mindful of cook time on some of the foods.
My fiancé and I came for a laid back lunch on Sunday, and were impressed to find such delicious food here! Everything was high-quality and flavorful. The steak salad was very fresh and tasty, and we absolutely loved the lemon sauce on our grilled chicken with fresh green beans. The shepherd’s pie chowder was a really unique option, and the variety on the menu is fantastic. You could come here for weeks and still have new menu items to try! We caught them during brunch, so we tried the Oreo bash pancakes which are perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The apple crumble and pretzels with dipping sauces made for great desserts too. Loved the vibe, and have to say it’s one of our new favorites in Rocky Hill!
New China Star
Love the sauce of the chicken w/broccoli is not a heavy thick dark sauce. The egg roll tasted fresh and not burned or fried in old oil. Rice very nice and clean. It was my first time and definitely not my last. Looking forward to try other dishes.
It gave my wife and me such bad diarrhea that we almost had to go to the hospital. We were sick for a week with watery diarrhea, probably giardiasis, due to the lack of hand hygiene by the employees. I went there to eat on August 11, 2024. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SICK, DON'T EAT HERE! When I arrived, I greeted the staff, but no one answered. The service was terrible, and the food nearly killed me.
