King Wah Chinese Restaurant
We always come here and it’s always good! They are very nice with substitutions, there’s an up charge but it’s understandable so we do it! We love the broccoli and fried rice here.the staff is always so nice never have had a problem!
I was a frequent customer until I purchased a quart of soup today. The lid of the soup had not been secured properly and it leaked as I drove home into the paper bag. I had it on the seat of my car and I am positive that it never fell over. When I got home I carried it into the house and when I tried to put it on the counter the bottom of the bag ripped away and the soup fell on the floor and dumped it's contents all over the floor. I called King Wah to complain about it and they implied that because I had it on the seat that it was my fault!!! I had to clean up the mess on my floor and I didn't realize it, but it had leaked all over my car seat as well, so I had to clean that too. All I wanted from king wah was an apology and a replacement of my lousy $7.50 soup, but they hung up on me!!! I am truly appalled at their cheapness and lousy, crappy attitude!!!
Infinity Palace Chinese Buffet
I went here last night with my fiancé, niece, and nephew. My niece was classified as an adult at 11yrs old and we had to pay the $15.95 for her which wouldn’t have been an issue if it weren’t for the fact that the day before my sister went in with the kids and paid kids prices for all 3 of her kids. I also ended up with a couple pieces of the honey chicken that tasted and looked like fish as well as raw chicken from the coconut chicken. Will not be returning and do not recommend anyone going here. Honestly I would make the drive to either new London or Wiliamantic over going here.
This is our first time here. It’s your typical Chinese buffet. There wasn’t anything outstanding here, but it certainly wasn’t anything terrible either. The waitresses were very intentive at keeping our glasses full. The place seems a little older and a little worn out. The price was good. There is certainly lots of parking.
