I have eaten from here for years, but the last few years I have been a patron of a different chinese spot. I am SO thankful I found the OTHER spot. 30 minute wait and $42 later, I get burnt/cold crab rangoon, stale tasting mild sesame chicken that would burn the roof off of a house (I dont even know if it is really chicken), pork fried rice that could only be described as FLAVORLESS yellow rice with 2 pieces of pork and a cold over cooked DRY as hell egg roll. I'm NOT even going to torture my stomach and try my chicken noodle soup. In the garbage it all went..... RUN people .... RUN!! š¤¢š¤®
One of my favorite Places to eat I noticed they have more combo options on their menu compared to other Chinese spots. We ordered the Beef and broccoli. The broccoli was well cooked and the beef very tender. We please try the steamed pork dumplings delicious, the dumpling come with a great dipping sauce š
King's Garden
Excellent Food and prices! Never Ever had a negative experience. Call, pick up in 10 minutes or sometimes a bit longer on a busy night but they tell you ahead..service with a smile! THE BEST !! In over 20 years I've been going there!!!
What happened to this place? I ordered the sesame chicken and some lo-mein, the flavor was very dull, the chicken had a weird rubber like texture and was gooey I give it a 0/10. The lo-mein wasnt very good, still I give it a 5/10. I threw most of the meal away. There are better choices out there.
Thai Tanic Cuisine
Absolutely phenomenal experience at **Thai Tanic**! I ordered the fried rice and was completely blown away ā every bite was bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. It's easily the best fried rice I've ever had. The service? Lightning fast and incredibly friendly. The staff anticipated every need without hovering, and somehow managed to keep things both efficient and warm. It's rare to see that kind of attentive, seamless service these days. From the punny name to the unforgettable meal, Thai Tanic is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise. Iāll definitely be back ā and bringing friends. Five stars without hesitation!
Absolutely the best fresh veggies and protein. The food is out of this world. Just simply amazing i would say that it is the best place to eat in Connecticut for Thai food. When I was eating I was full but couldn't stop because it is so delicious. Hanging out with my best friend and love my wife.

12-28-24 On A Positive Note: The cook has a very upbeat personality. I havenāt been here in years so I planned a lunch/shopping ladies day. For starters, I had to call out to the server whom was seated at the opposite end of the restaurant, rolling silverware. I ordered an appetizer and a āMelon Ball.ā š¤¢ Upon receipt, it resembled a tall glass of orange juice, which I do not like. I tried to drink it but it reminded me of when I use to take iron pills and used the orange juice to wash it down. I have to give the manager credit. He was willing to make it better. It was better but still unsatisfactory. I did not complain any further. I accepted that an orange is now a melon. šš¤·āāļø My friend didnāt like her pina coloda either, it was watery and had ice chips in it, but she did not complain. I donāt think they added any alcohol to either drink or they drowned it in orange juice. The food was good and plentiful for a lunch portion. The cook provided the usual hibachi entertainment- āsaki in your mouthā and the opportunity for one to pretend to be a hungry seal.š I give him 5 stars. The Verdict: The food is decent and the cook was great. I would not order mixed drinks here or advise one to go to the bar and watch it being made. A Daily Diner
My wonderful niece, who just received a well-deserved promotion, treated me to a delightful dinner at her favorite restaurant. I know I should have insisted on treating her, but she was so enthusiastic about it that I couldnāt say no! She raved about this spot and was incredibly persuasive, and let me tell you, Iām so glad I listened to her. The hibachi grill there was one of the cleanest Iāve ever seenāseriously, it looked like they had just opened! We ordered the hibachi meal, and the food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon literally melted in my mouth, and the rice, lo mein, and vegetables were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Hats off to the chef! I also decided to try the scorpion cocktail, a massive bowl filled with various liquors, topped off with a burning flame. It was delicious! Our hibachi chef was not only talented but also humorous and down to earth, making for a truly enjoyable evening. Thank you, dear niece, for such a memorable night!
Dawg House Bar & Grill
Was expecting the Dawg House to be a total dive bar, but ended up loving the vibe there! It was a lot nicer inside than I expected. The bar was large & the place was clean. The bartender was very friendly & attentive. We ordered the eggplant fries & they were fantastic! Highly recommend.
Friday Night St Patrickās Celebration w Delicious Food, Dancing, Drinks, and Friendly Fast Service w a Smile!!! Corned Beef was cut thin and Sooo Tender!! W Hot sauce and Mustard!! Keep Smiling Friends!!!
Taino Smokehouse Prime
Awesome BBQ, easily some of the best in CT. The ribs were pretty lean which is good for me, and the brisket had a nice smoke flavor with visible rings. The egg rolls were insane, never had something stuffed like that before. The ricotta was ok but the bread was good. And the ribeye was cooked perfectly. It's quite a lot of food so highly recommend sharing!
Food was tasty, bartender was sweet and attentive. The service was a bit slow. The bacon pops were the only disappointment, fatty and rubbery.
Flavors of Nawab Restaurant & Banquet Hall
This was our first time trying an Indian restaurant specializing in Hyderabad cuisine, and Flavors of Nawab did not disappoint. We went early on a Sunday evening and sampled a mix of street foods, classic dishes, and their signature chicken biryani. Everything was flavorful, with highlights like the perfectly cooked tandoori chicken and the paneer and cheese dumplings. A great find on the Berlin Turnpike!
Went here for the buffet on Saturday afternoon. It wasnāt as crowded when we reached. They did have a good number of variety of food including pani puri, chai( which was very good and homely) , juices, kebab, chili chicken, chicken tandoori, pakoda and so on. We saw they also served falooda and tried that as well. It was after a long time we got to have it and enjoyed it.
Wa Wah Kitchen
Place is disgusting. Last month i ordered chicken from here and it was completely red and purple on the inside. This is shrimp rolls with the shit still inside of the shrimp.
This was my first time trying Wa Wah Kitchen. I was hesitant due to all the poor reviews, but my lunch special chicken and broccoli was delicious! The rice left a little to be desired, but the sauce made up for it. This is typical run of the mill American Chinese, but it definitely gets an āAā in my book. My co-workers and I all got different things and everything we tried was delicious. Proximity to my job is important as well, and since this is on the same street, Iāll definitely be ordering again.
Dragon Phoenix
This Chinese restaurant is super clean, and kid-friendly. My kids loved the little fishies, and didnāt want to leave the restaurant. I had this for breakfast since my kids and me wanted to try something new today. I have to say, this is the best restaurant I ever went to. My kids are absolutely obsessed with the chicken wings, which I canāt blame them, there is also healthy and vegetarian options. In conclusion, this is the best restaurant I ever went to.
delivery order twice now i ordered fried rice with $2 extra meat - I was charged but the rice showed up without the extra. this is consistent, until I complain and it seems that one time they got it right. it is as if i have to be in the restaurant supervising to be sure I get what i pay for.
New Jade Garden
Great food, love their egg foo young and chicken fried rice. Workers who deliver food should definitely label each container so that its easy to find what you order. Unfortunately, it wasnt implemented this time, hopefully next time? Otherwise great food.
They use to be really good until someone else took it over. Now the rice hardly has veggies in it and barley and pork if you order pork fried rice. The portions are smaller. The original owners or workers from 2023 and below were great. All new faces.
Panda House
I ordered the General Pso's chicken. It came with rice , an egg roll, and I ordered sugar doughnuts. I also ordered 2 fortune cookies. When I got my order, I reached in the bag and pulled out a bag, which I thought was the sauces, and the silverware. To my surprise they ended up giving me 24 fortune cookies. I only ordered 2. I ordered again, a different time, and again they sent me 23 fortune cookies. The food was good, although, it was not that spicy. I have not ordered from there since. Guess they wanted me to have good luck.
Ordered tale out and BBQ spare ribs burned, chicken teriyaki burnt as well. First and last time here.
Gourmet Kitchen Wings & Teriyaki
New owners!! And let me tell you this food is fire!! Just what youāre looking for in āteriyaki ā. Portion is amazing. Flavor is on point. Never fails when I order. Definitely a step up from the last owners. I highly recommend.
First try at this place, very friendly staff, food was average One dish was pretty good, but a place that has teriyaki hanging above the door, didn't nail the teriyaki, there are jarred sauces that are better
