Yummy Yummy
The Chicken is not Chicken. Idk what it is but just look at the pictures. I took one bite and threw it away. Dragon Village is superior
We had lunch there and the food was pretty much what you get anywhere. We ordered sesame chicken and Hunan shrimp. It was good but nothing stood out from anywhere else we have been. If you're looking for atmosphere with your meal this isn't the place to come. Very plain. The main complaint I have is that the Chinese are rude people when they interrupt your conversation to clear away your empty plates from directly in front of you like there is a shortage of plates in the restaurant, when the place is practically empty. They could wait 5 minutes till you leave. Totally RUDE!! But to be perfectly fair, this happens in other Chinese restaurants also. We just happened to be in the area but will probably eat Chinese in Newark where we live.
Lucky Dragon
Just moved to the hood and found this Chinese take out place. The food is so fresh and amazing and big portion. It’s very close to home made meal and not greasy.
My wife and I don't do this--we don't write reviews, of anything, but we had to share this experience. We live in Dayton, Ohio, and had 2 appointments yesterday, one in the Cincy area, and one in Florence Ky. It was a long drive in very heavy traffic, we had been in and out of the car at this point for over 6 hours, and we stopped and filled the tank and randomly parked in a strip mall next to the gas station to reset for a moment, and figure out something to grab to eat on the way home that didn't involve a fast food drive-thru. As we were sitting in the car and I pulled the phone out to see what was near us to grab some take out, we noticed we were parked right in front of Lucky Dragon. We hadn't even considered Chinese food as an option (not the easiest thing to eat while driving), but we both looked at each other and thought, ok, why not, it's probably the usual GFS/Sisco sourced, Americanized food, heavy on the greasy brown sauce that saturates almost every selection at almost every Chinese restaurant, and makes every dish taste the same, regardless of which one you order. But having a 30 year "hobby" and passion of trying every egg roll we can in every city we've been in throughout the world, we figured it was at least worth a shot when we saw on their menu, "roast pork egg roll". Here's where the ooooh myyyy part comes in. I was greeted by a lovely husband and wife team, the owners, who could not have been more nice. I ordered Triple Ingredients (Triple Delight?), and Szechuan Chicken, not expecting anything special, but we were hopeful that their egg rolls were going to be decent. I took them back to the car where my wife was waiting. We each took a bite of an egg roll. THE BEST, most flavorful and carefully made from scratch egg roll we've ever had in our lives. The two dishes we ordered were utterly unique--no heavy greasy brown sauce, very light on oil and both had a completely different spice and flavor, the Szechuan having a distinct ginger and garlic vibe to it, the other a bit more savory and "juicy" thing going on that's hard to describe. Simply put, don't let this tiny place in a strip mall let you assume it's one of the thousands of "generic but decent enough" places. It was the best Chinese meal we've ever had in our lives. I rushed back in and bought 6 more(!) egg rolls to take back to Dayton. This wonderful couple really have it going on, and it's worth a trip there. Even if it's a long trip. It's THAT good. Lucky Dragon indeed. We certainly got lucky, randomly discovering it. We will be back, for sure.
China Wok
Pretty sure I got reheated buffet chicken and fresh rice. Rice is good, but chicken is dry and soggy... sauce won't even stick. Little to no flavor and texture is chewy. Definitely can't be fresh. Pan fried dumplings were ok, but the sauce you dip them in is great! Disappointed as I love Chinese food and definitely not worth $20 😔
Delicious, delicious, delicious! I’ve had Hunan Pork & Chicken with Garlic Sauce, fried rice, egg rolls a couple of times here. Sweet, spicy, tangy. I want to order them extra spicy now. It was delicious food. The people are nice & friendly. Quite delicious & fun.
FIVE GRAINS NOODLE HOUSE(五谷鱼粉)
A hidden gem in Northern Kentucky that you need to check out if you are around the airport area, especially if you like authentic Chinese food. The soup/broth and the noodles are so tasty. I ordered the one with fish since I'm a fan of fish. It's very tender and the quantity is good. I'd love to come back again to try other dishes.
My girlfriend and I came here as we live down the street. We had crab rangoons and spring rolls for appetizers. She had beef fried rice with sauce and I had the sesame chicken. The people there were attentive and polite. The food was all great. We got it very fast and fresh. Very good portions and flavor. The atmosphere was quiet and quaint and a pleasure. Go here and you won't regret it. We will be back for sure!
China Panda
There are absolutely no vegetables in this fried rice. Used to get peas and carrots and onion. I see a little onion mostly rice and a little meat. It's not the only Chinese food takeout that I have experienced this with lately. I'm done no longer going to order take out I feel like I can make it myself cheaper and healthier and include all the proper ingredients doing it in my own kitchen.
This is my favorite place to order takeout, the food never disappoints. I’m a vegetarian, I always order their tofu and broccoli, and either lo mein, fried rice, or fried vegetable dumplings- it’s beyond good. If any other vegetarians are looking for good food, I highly recommend.
