First Wok
I had an absolutely horrible experience at this place. I ordered chicken wings with white rice and steamed dumplings, and not only was I overcharged, but the food was also inedible. The chicken wings were dry and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours, the rice was stale, and the steamed dumplings smelled and tasted rotten. Avoid this place at all cost !!!
Oh man, this place is bomb! It’s a small mom and pop restaurant. The portions are huge. Ordered the curry chicken with rice and chicken finger only for a total of $15. Highly recommend💯
Lok Chung Chinese Restaurant
The shrimp egg foo young here was the worst I ever had. They boiled the ingredients first then made the omelette…who does that? Boiled all of the flavor and taste out. The egg foo young patties weren’t crispy. Everything tasted watery…$15 wasted 😡
First time trying this place, against my better judgement since the outside and inside are dirty. The rice is overcooked to much and the food has a greasy taste like overused oil and the food does not taste fresh.
Lok Hing Chinese Restaurant
I have a long list of allergies so I was apprehensive about trying a new Chinese restaurant but I decided to take the risk.I came across Lok Hing and went in. To my surprise they do not use any of the allergens on my list so for the first time in a long time I could order anything on the menu. I got the general tso combination and it was delicious. I am thrilled that I have found a Chinese restaurant I can order from without fear of cross contamination. This restaurant is a hidden gem on Albany Avenue in Hartford.
The chicken wings was pretty good no hair on them at all, they were a lil small but delicious. The rice was extra greasy Spanish type of rice with vegetables and pork not good at all my kids wasted it. The Lo mein was over cooked and under flavored we will not be going back there anytime soon!
Jahm Ske's
Food is great experience inside is blah. Don’t see much of a difference between large meal and small. I got the Jerk chicken with cabbage and white rice with oxtail gravy. This was a great meal. 0 prices posted inside 0 menu posted inside. It’s a mystery to order something
Amazing Caribbean/jamaican food that I could not recommend more. All their menu items are incredibly flavorful and their meats are all so tender and juicy. Their jerk chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and oxtails are my favorite and their rice/beans and steamed cabbage go perfectly with the meats. Also really good is their cows foot, full of collagen. Their beef patties are great as well, flaky crust and spicy beef
McDonald's
So yesterday i ordered some food through the Mcdonalds app, when the food arrive i checked and the nuggets were cold, the fries were cold and the best part the meat of my burger were raw, next time send me the order raw and i cooked it in my house.
1/11/2025 I like how they cooked french fries and delicious strawberry and banana smoothie but one thing is disappointed me that I was told If I want more than 1 sweet and sour, I’ll have to pay for it. What?? I’ve never heard of it and I knew we all should get free for sauce . I wouldn’t eat french fries without sauces and I pay for food and they get paid for served us better food. What a weirdo and they can do better than that. I’m talking about the lady cashier from last night by 10:45p around. Or is because she treats me differently because “I'm deaf” smh. She isn’t friendly
