The name actually should be 100 Happiness because the food was really good. Arriving right when closing. I was going to go elsewhere but the owner flagged me in with a big smile and said it was not a problem. They had a lot of pickup orders. Ordering the dinner version of the sesame chicken, white rice and broccoli and while I was waiting I was talking to the owner and this is her third successful restaurant. Her philosophy is easy, clean store, great customer service and great food. She also mentioned that their food is not smothered with heavy sauces but instead opt for the flavors to come out. The food that I ordered, Sesame Chicken was very very good, chicken slices were tender, the broccoli was fresh and crisp, and the rice was not overly sticky and perfectly cooked. The sauce was perfect and light as mentioned. Definitely will be eating here often and I was looking at the website and they do deliver. Thank you for the free spring rolls and your hospitality.

We have ordered 3 times in the last 3 weeks and it is the best American Chinese food around here. We liked everything we tried. They listen to the reviews and we can confirm that the portion size for the rice got bigger. The portion sizes are big in general and there are always left overs. Two things I would recommend is some vegetables in the egg drop soups (but that could be just not a thing) and the pork fried rice needed more seasoning, but it was still delicious (I just added more soy sauce and Maggi to it at home). They make everything in house, nothing comes from frozen or pre-packaged packages, we asked. The customer service is wonderful and it is definitely a new favorite for us.

Can’t really say the food is that great - the service is good and the waitress was attentive. Though the food may leave very little to be desired. The prices are reasonable but the flavors aren’t really there. And it just feels like it’s mediocre food but plated pretty. It may be because they r trying to do too many things at once. Don’t think I’m gonna return anytime soon.

The curry dish is delicious and always fresh - curry pork, curry, chicken, curry scallops. The pad thai is delicious. I have not tried the sushi here, but read the poor reviews about sushi. I recommend this restaurant for all the cooked dishes

Nice hotel with modern amenities. Very clean as well and a welcoming staff. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. For spending about $400 for a night (after taxes + fees), it was very underwhelming. Stale granola, selection of small pastries... would think they would have provided a little more for the price of the room. Otherwise, would recommend!

Haven't even checked out yet but wanted to leave this review. This place is a find. We had some business in Stamford but didn't want to stay in town so tried here. The hotel is beautiful. Apparently there is really no limit to how nice you can make an old Howard Johnsons. The rooms are super comfortable, especially the beds. I had a room closest to the highway so I could hear some traffic but it isn't bad at all. The high-tech stuff in the rooms was actually nice and not complicated. I was worried that this place might be trying a little too hard from reading reviews but that isn't the case at all. And what I didn't expect was for Tony's to be such a great restaurant. This is legit good Italian food and the outdoor terrace is a great garden setting. We got back from work late last night and the kitchen had closed but Tony himself (great guy) went back to the kitchen and pulled a few things together for us. Overall great experience here.

The Cos Cobber

Can't beat the place for its location. The restaurant is a one minute walk from the Strickland Road Historical District and also a mere one minute walk to the Sachem Nature Preserve. Noticed that our fellow guests were all regulars who were warmly greeted by the staff. There is ample outdoor seating. We had the crab cakes with sweet potato fries and the Cos Cobber salad. The crab cakes were just OK(hardly any crab meat), but the sweet potato fries were quite good. Didn't take any pictures of the food except for the iced tea and lemonade.

Their lunch specials prepared by chefs Alex are culinary delights! Great low key atmosphere and simply great service!

Sushi Soba

These sushi were fantastic! The salmon and avocado were exceptionally fresh and flavorful. The shrimp tempura was very crispy and with the eel sauce, it was especially satisfying. The presentation was also beautiful and I'll be back next time!

We ordered the chicken pad thai, Asian lomein and bean noodles. All were excellent.
