Pho Zaaap in New Haven is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Lao and Thai flavors! Having tried most Thai food in the States, I can confidently say that this place comes closest to what I've experienced in Thailand and Laos. The selection is fantastic, with each dish bursting with bold, fresh ingredients. They craft everything with quality and care, from rich, aromatic curries to perfectly seasoned noodle soups. The pho is the absolute ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ flavorful and perfectly balanced. The service at Phozaap is as welcoming as the food, making you feel like part of the family. Been craving Jamaican food for a minute! Gave this place a shot for the first time because I would drive by it often, and this food will definitely NOT disappoint. We’ve ordered the Oxtail Rasta Pasta and the Jerk Shrimp entrees and they hit the spot…. Portions were perfect, oxtails were juicy and meaty. The Jerk Shrimp has a nice spice level, literally the epitome of what Jamaican food should be. They even got milkshakes on the menu, highly recommend the Rowdy Roostah Milkshake. It’s made with stout, slightly alcoholic and the thickness consistency was on point. Taste wise… it touched every corner of my soul! Nice rich caramel/vanilla tones. Everything was very fresh including their delicious beef patties. The atmosphere was calm and clean, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. If you’re craving this food like I was, TRY THIS SPOT 🙌🏽

Went to Hot Roostah chicken Thursday with my daughter. The service is very quick and kind. I'm pretty sure it's family owned. The dad and mom made me and my daughter's food, and the daughter checked us out at the counter they were all humble people. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The food was amazing. I got 3 beef patties, 1 spicy, and 2 regular. The spicy one was good. I could've used a little more spice, but that's my preference. Everybody else has their own opinion. Overall texture, wise, and the way the beef patties were made, you can definitely tell it was homemade. It was definitely delicious. The oxtail with the steamed cabbage and the rice beans was phenomenal. Oxtail was definitely tender falling right off the bone, and they definitely gave me a decent amount of gravy from the oxtail. Overall, I'll definitely come back. I can't wait to try the stew chicken and jerk chicken. Keep the good work up, guys, and blessed to have the experience we had godbless and thank😁🙏🏽💯

Visited CT from Michigan and had to swing by due to some research. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a cozy restaurant with friendly staff and the lobster roll was amazing.

I had a fantastic experience eating at Supreme Seafood last week. I tried a bunch of different dishes and they all did not disappoint! The surf and turf burger was phenomenal and the Caesar salad topped with lobster is my new favorite dish. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The staff was very attentive and kind, making my experience a 10/10. I will definitely be back again!

This was our first time at Hidden Kitchen and we loved it. It was a busy Sunday morning and there was a short wait but it was well worth it. The servers and staff were excellent, attentive and kind. At our table we had a breakfast burrito, breakfast nachos, the polish breakfast and blueberry ricotta pancakes all of which were delicious. The menu is creative and extensive and it was hard to decide! Looking forward to going back and trying some new things. Highly recommend!! 😊

If you're in the mood for a great meal, Hidden Kitchen is a solid choice. The food is tasty, with a variety of options that are both satisfying and well-prepared. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money's worth, and the prices are very reasonable considering the size of the servings. The staff is also friendly and makes you feel welcome and the coffee is incredible. Definitely worth checking it out!

What an excellent experience. The restaurant is a bit on the small side with bar seating and a dining area. I recommend you try to get reservations to ensure you get in. We started dinner with some amazing Italian bread served with some garlic chimichurri sauce, it was delicious. For or entrees I had the ribeye special served with spinach and asparagus which was cooked at a perfectly medium rare temperature. My girlfriend had the special veal and pork ragú over ravioli. She loved it. Or meals were so good, we highly recommend. To end the evening we had the stuffed chocolate churros. Personally, I could have gone with just simple churros (no chocolate) but it was good. The service was excellent, she did a great job of answering or questions and providing suggestions. We will definitely be back.

Despite its unassuming location in a strip mall, this place is a true hidden gem! We visited on a busy Saturday night, so thankfully we had made a reservation. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, including high-top tables, a bar with 14 stools, booths, and lower tables with chairs. Our party of five was seated at a cozy round table near the entrance, which was perfect for our group. The prices are reasonable, including both the appetizers, salads, main entrees and cocktails. We kicked things off with a selection of martinis, all priced at $12. Our server shared a range of specials, and one person in our group decided on the winter salad, while another chose the Chilean sea bass. The rest of us selected from the regular menu for our orders. If the ingredients are available, they're happy to accommodate special requests. I asked if I could substitute the veal for chicken in the Veal Limone, and they had no problem accommodating the request. The dish featured egg-battered chicken, layered with prosciutto and mozzarella, all served in a tangy lemon white wine sauce. It came with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. The portion was quite generous, leaving me with enough to take half home after enjoying a warm roasted beet and arugula salad with gorgonzola, candied walnuts, and a Meyer lemon dressing. My friend's Veal Limone was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The grilled lamb chops, served in a red wine mushroom sauce with baby root vegetables and mashed potatoes, earned high praise -- he practically wiped his plate clean. My husband's seafood risotto, featuring mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp, and scallops in a pomodoro truffle sauce with a hint of cream, was absolutely divine. I believe him as he did not share a bite! The last dish ordered was the Chilean sea bass special, served with clams and spinach in a light broth. It was exactly what my friend had hoped for based on the server's description, and she said it definitely lived up to its flavorful promise. The presentation was also impressive. I suggest a visit although make a reservation so you won't be disappointed as it's a popular restaurant

Yesterday was my first and last time ordering pizza from Capone’s. My pizza was very badly burnt. See 4 photos. Instead of putting a burnt pizza in a box and handing it to me, I would have greatly preferred to hear someone say, “we accidentally over cooked your pizza, so you need to wait – we are making you another.” I would have been impressed by such a comment. When I called to complain the young female I spoke with was very polite and courteous. She offered to do it over again which I declined due to the time involved. She ultimately offered me a 2 week credit. An immediate refund to my credit card would have been preferred. I will not be going back. The few parts of the pizza that were edible were ok, but they were followed by an immediate after taste of charcoal. Most of the pizza was discarded.

We have been here a few times, each time we try something different. I love the buffalo chicken pizza because they put the buffalo sauce on top, it is so good!! The clams casino pizza was great too, we added bacon. The eggplant fries appetizer was awesome as well. Dinners come with a salad and garlic bread. I had the best drink I've had in awhile...Moscow Mule! So good, a must try!!

I purchased chicken fried rice with boneless chicken and garlic sauce on the side for lunch. I got to work and started to eat my food and after the third bite I noticed a roach in my rice. I will never visit this restaurant ever again 🤢

They were very kind and friendly. It seems people either had a wonderful or terrible experience, which is funny. Mine was wonderful. I couldn't hear well over the phone and they called me back! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and arrived quickly. I especially loved the noodles with sesame sauce, fried chicken wings and chicken gizzards which I hadn't had since my trip down south. I will be ordering again and trying new items.

I live probably one minute away….. I ordered our meals and came home…… probably less than 2 minutes away…. The food was already very cold!!!….. I wouldn’t eat there again unless I stood there ordered my meal and watched them cook it lol I feel guilty now because I think I just ate someone’s cat….. today I ate what was left over from yesterday….. big mistake How can chicken possibly be soooo tough!!!!

We’ve only ordered by phone and never had an issue. Everything is always great. Especially the boneless spare ribs!

The quality has gone way down!!!! Hardly any protein with my house special mei fun. 15 dollars for rice noodles.

This place doesn't allow you to pay with a card over the phone which is VERY inconvenient. I made sure to mention that when I picked up my order. They have a online ordering section on their website.....but it doesn't even work. My girlfriend couldn't even place an order for me. The combination plates were supposed to come with pork fried rice put the rice is whiter than me. I will never come here again.
