This is the only Chinese food in CT that I have actually loved. The food was outstanding, truly delicious. It met my exact expectations as a New Yorker spoiled with access to good Chinese food who has been deprived since moving to CT. In addition to excellent meals (and selections from typical Chinese American to authentic and traditional dishes) the service and atmosphere were both top notch. Friendly service and a clean dining room with soft music and soft lighting. This was overall just a wonderful experience. We had pork belly bao, pan seared dumplings, general tso chicken, and pork with garlic sauce.

Came for a Christmas dinner, party of 7, we had the best service, best food and more. This was the first time we've ever tried this restaurant and I'm so happy we decided to come here. The dumplings were authentic and fantastic, all the meals were outstanding. Thank you for an amazing meal!

Best Chinese food in black rock area ❤️‍🔥 my favorite is general tsks combo comes with rice some broccoli and an egg roll all for under $12 such a great deal love this place! Only thing is they close early and I’m a night owl so that’s unfortunate but we make it work!!

Exactly what I'm looking for when I want local Chinese food. Tried this spot for the first time today and I hope to be back soon! Crab Rangoons were very good too.

My family has been going here for years. Love the food, portions and the owners. Always friendly. I can’t recommend any specific dish as I think we’ve had just about everything on their menu!! I believe that they’re the only place that offers Lo Mein with no veggies already on their menu, but they do cater to your preferences if asked.

I love this place I love the food. It's the only Chinese food place that has done it right, in terms of quality, quantity and taste; it has the trifecta. I always get the general chicken chef special and sometimes their combination lunch that comes with a egg roll, Also their crisply beef is good. I just wouldn't recommend the sweet or sour chicken but everything else in their menu is pretty good.

This restaurant was great, fresh hot food, fulfilled my special request to have my general tso chicken extra spicy, and all the food was delicious. The sauce was very flavorful, and the rice was toasty tasting and fresh. The kitchen was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this location.

Years ago heard they were the best in bpt too bad I never got the opportunity to experience this I ordered sesame chicken for my teenage sons one was over cooked barely no sauce and hard to chew the other one was saucy and undercooked the meat inside was white and fluffy like a cotton ball that’s not how raw chicken should look it was just a no for me $25 bucks wasted, even the egg roll was disgusting. Orders cant be fixed at places like this you must take your L and move along btw his was maybe my 3rd time trying them and giving it a chance Chinese food wont ever get a third strike out of me again the restaurant is clean customer service was and always been fair food is distasteful waste of money the boys literally picked around it and they love sesame chicken

I got shrimp and broccoli, and the shrimp smelled and tasted so expired and spoiled. It looked like it has not been refrigerated for a long time and is experied. It smells fishy(bad kind) to. And everytime I order from this restaurant, I forget about the bad shrimp and I get the same kind of bad food over again.

Got sweet sour chicken and egg drop soup from here. second time I was giving the place a chance with the same order and I didn't even get the same thing. Food is unpredictable for example one time I get sweet sour sauce other time I get two different sauces. Also delivery driver was just awful in attitude. Will never order from here again.

If your main interest is a very clean dining environment with exceptional service and great presentation, then this is the place. If flavorful food is your primary interest, then this is not the place. Neither the egg roll nor the crab Rangoon had the flavor I have loved in so many other restaurants. There were two other people with me who felt the same way about the lack of flavor. The presentation of the food was amazing. It just did not translate into the taste of the dishes. The brown sauce with my entree was good by not great. Again, it is a lack of robust flavors that make these meals meh. Be careful when adding egg roll and desert to your entree, the price increase may seem nominal but it adds up quick. Dinner for three befoe tip was $105. I think that is a lot for chinese cuisine.

Frank and his staff are absolutely amazing. The exceptional member service and quality of food are outstanding. Frank and his staff continue to remember your name, know some of your favorite dishes, and even recommend some new favorites. I'm so fortunate to have Great Taste so close to my work and home, and I consider this establishment one of my personal favorites for dine in or carry out. Ordered sushi to go. I ordered the Yellowtail jalapeño roll, which was good. Also ordered the spicy shrimp mango roll. It was delicious! This was my first time trying this kind of roll. Never had fruit in a roll before, so I was a bit hesitant. But it was one of the best rolls I've ever had! The restaurant is really nice. The young woman in the front was so kind. I'm definitely coming back to have a sit-down experience.

Went for NYE 2024 with a party of 11. The hibachi chef couldn't be more rude and miserable - I'm not sure why he has this job. We were never offered water when we sat down. Then when we finally asked for water it took 20 minutes. The hibachi chef splashed sizzling hot water on my husband because he was in such a rush. The most stressful dinner I've ever been to! We were rushed in and out in 1 hour. Waiters never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks. I'm so irritated they included gratuity in their check - I would have left ZERO.

Went here for brunch with some friends and ate at the rooftop. It was slow when we arrived because we ate at an off time but that made it better because it was such a nice atmosphere to chat and relax. By far some of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was $27 for an appetizer, main course, and dessert which I thought was a great price. You won’t be leaving here hungry! I would definitely come here again.

Excellent local Italian restaurant in Bethel CT. Nice atmosphere , good service and unique delicious dishes. Deserts are also excellent !

We have been eating at this wonderful restaurant since it opened and it’s still outstanding and never disappoints. The food is authentic and amazing. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Last visit I had the warm roasted beet salad, unlike any salad I’ve had… fantastic. The butternut squash ravioli in browned butter and sage with whipped mascarpone and crushed amaretti was AMAZING. I’ve also had their center cut pork chop on multiple occasions because it’s so perfect. Everything is fresh and delicious. EVERY TIME. Thank you Lisa, Roberto and staff for always providing outstanding food in a wonderful atmosphere.

Lots of options, good overall, you can build your own bo as well. I got a bowl and it tasted alright but I like done ambiance and the options so I will go again and try a smoothie next time. There is also parking I’m the back if the front is packed

Been going here for years, live a block away. EVERYTHING there is outstanding, especially the employees! I am on a first name basis even when I call. I read some of these negative reviews and find them laughable. The fact that there are any bad ones at all is shocking. I know these people who work there, and every single one of them is super helpful and friendly. Then I read some of them and can tell you just by reading them that the customers themselves were the problem! If you want delicious, healthy, fresh food, drinks, and shakes, as well as outstanding customer service, you must come here!

Since the new owner took over the food is average. The pork fried rice had little pork and vegetable fried rice little vegetables along with no seasoning. Also, there prices keep going up every month. The pork fried dumplings, chicken fingers, chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce are at least tasty.

Never ordered from here before and wanted to try a new place. The food was excellent! I had the most fantastic Spicy Eggplant I've ever tasted! The Chow Mein and General Tso's Chicken was so good! We will definitely order again. That eggplant will be included in all future orders!!

Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. The Summer Rolls lacked the freshness you’d expect, and while the sushi rolls were acceptable, they certainly weren’t good. The interior had a noticeable strip mall feel, which didn’t help the atmosphere. I was initially unsure if I was being overly critical, but the moment the sake arrived in white wine glasses, it confirmed that something was definitely off about this place. To top it all off, it’s kinda pricey. 2 stars is a gift.

I’ve loved sake since 2016. The people here are so friendly and polite, every time I dine in they’re so warm and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is great (try the sweet potato tempura!) and better priced than other places in the area. Love this place!
