Canton Chinese Restaurant
The quality of the food was unfortunately just not very good. Picked up food to go from this place, it was organized and the order was correct and ready quickly. But we ordered two chicken dishes, sesame chicken and orange chicken. It was almost entirely fried bread, with traces of chicken inside. Very spongy and fluffy Breading. The crab cream cheese Wontons had no crab inside, just cream cheese. But they were well fried and still tasted good. But the chicken dishes were just disappointing. The picture is of just the fried breading off the orange chicken, after I picked out the parts that actually had chicken inside of them.
My wife and I regularly order lunch here, every 2 weeks or so. The food is typical, old school Americanized Chinese food, with soup and an egg roll. But for roughly $10 you get a large dish that amounts to 2 meals (we split a dish), and while it's not gourmet, it's decent and consistent. Compared to other restaurants and how much those other places have raised prices, it's nice to have a place to get good food to go. We regularly get the Chicken w/Broccoli, Siracha Beef, Pork with Garlic Sauce, or Moo Shu Pork.
