Wok Spicy 川天地
Having returned from mainland China a few weeks ago, and having always been disappointed by Colorado’s lack of authentic Sichuan cuisine, I decided to get serious about finding a good Sichuan joint. My research led me to Wok Spicy. Man, am I glad I showed up! Everything ordered was fantastic. We made pigs of ourselves and dined on Chongqing Chili Chicken, Double Cooked Pork, Mapo Tofu, Cumin Lamb, and Sichuan String Beans. All 🔥. I live up in Thornton, but I will happily drive down to Englewood to frequent Wok Spicy.
Absolutely wonderful experience! The dry pot fish was so flavorful and crispy. I added cauliflower for more vegetables and that was delicious as well. The beef chow fun is the best I’ve had in a long time, and I get this dish at many restaurants. It had so much flavor, came out steaming hot, and was overall cooked to perfection. The wait staff are very attentive and the environment is very clean and well put together. All around very impressed with this restaurant and will definitely be back.
Far East Kitchen
The owner is the best. She. Is. AlwYs. Smiling. I love. Her. I. Calll her. Mommy and. The. Food. Is. Incredible
Rudest Chinese spot I’ve ever been to! Never again am I coming here with my family. We ordered almost $40 worth of food. We saw a table inside so we decided to eat and they said it’s only takeout. That’s absurd!!! They don’t even have signs saying it’s only takeout!!! I asked them why is there a table with four chairs if customers can’t come in and sit to eat, their answer was that it’s only for employees!!!! That’s F ridiculous! The woman that works there has the only b face I can practically read her thoughts, I don’t understand her attitude!! Don’t come here if you plan to eat inside. I’m taking my money elsewhere where staff is nicer and allows you to dine inside BECAUSE I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER!!!!!
China 1
Personable & helpful young lady took our order (take out only - no eat in, not sure if they deliver) and food was ready on time. Spring rolls were crisp and delicious and the general Tso’s tofu was crisp with plenty of sauce! Would definitely recommend and will order from them again.
Food is great. The only reason I don't give them a 5 star is because they don't put Chinese vegetables in their meals. I love szashwan chicken with Chinese vegetables, not just green peppers and onions and carrots. Ther are no water chestnuts, baby corn, bamboo shoots , buckchoy, pea pods bean sprouts. All the vegetables that makes Chinese food great.

Small, dark place. Needs more lighting for sure. I've had sushi all over Dayton and this was the worst sushi I've had. It was tasteless for some reason, and not a lot of fish in it. Even the white tuna was tasteless. I'm guessing they order the cheapest quality sushi they can. I ordered a volcano roll and the salmon portion was so small inside the roll, it was like I was just eating rice and cream cheese! The shrimp tempura roll had so much avocado in it, all I could taste was mushy avocado and rice. It was like eating baby food. The sushi was just very "off". I'll stick to Shen's or literally anywhere else..
I ordered a full array of take out just to get a wide birth of samples and it all was quite good! Very good egg rolls, and all standard quality of lo mein and sweet and sour chicken and such. It wasn't amazing, but still quite good! Next up is to try their sushi, when I picked up my order it seemed like that was what most people had ordered.
China Star
My son and I were visiting the area from Richmond Indiana. We stumbled across this place while shopping in the plaza. The food was EXCELLENT!! Hot and fresh!! Flavor was amazing! I’m very particular about crab Rangoon. Theirs was exactly how I like them. Hint of sweetness but not too much and not too much onion. Perfect! We also got the chicken teriyaki sticks!! Tender and so good!!! Chicken and veggies tasted just right! My son got the Bourbon chicken and it was REALLY good! Egg rolls on point as well. We were really impressed! I would drive from Richmond JUST to come and eat. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such kind and friendly service. Even my son said, “Mom she is so sweet.” Overall we had a great experience! I’m not Keith Lee but I did add the restaurant to my TikTok page in hopes it brings more business! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Nice local place, they used to make really cool flowers out of carrots, but they stopped doing that recently, which disappointed me. They have a nice fish tank. The food is ok and it's pretty cheap. You can tell the restaurant itself has seen better days. Best friend rice ever, it's flavorful and filled with good things. No handicap accessible stall.
Yen Ching House
We were hungry for Asian so we Tried Yen Ching out. Very pleased! It’s not a high end restaurant, so if you’re looking for expensive plates, glasses and whatever else comes with high end dining, go somewhere else. If you’re looking for good service and good food look no further! I never take food home with me, I did on this night! I was eating my wife’s leftovers for the next two days. The price for the two of us I believe was under $35. I highly recommend getting the appetizer with your meal. You get choice of soup, spring roll and the crab pasty. We both had different soups and both were awesome! Try this place out, I do not think you will be disappointed. Many Asian restaurants serve soda in a can, this place was a plastic bottle which had more than the can. They were doing very good with takeout also.
I had my doubts about this. Seemingly small strip mall place but was delighted with the food. I got shrimp with stir-fried rice noodles and for an extra $3.25 got two appetizers, a vegetarian spring roll and crab rangoon and a small bowl of hot and sour soup. The whole thing with tip ran under $20. You cannot beat that
ZOMO
ZOMO is a great restaurant situated in a poppin' spot on Broadway. They get pretty busy, so you should definitely reserve ahead of time. Solid Vietnamese food!! (As a Vietnamese person, you can trust me!) Great to see none of the flavors profiles for Viet classics like banh xeo, pho, bo luc lac, etc have been toned down! You don't often see banh xeo on menus around here, so it was a very welcome sight! I also think they do a great job putting the right amount of veggies so there's no waste. It's also refreshing to see a menu that embraces the Vietnamese diaspora & the third culture that manifests from it! The Kansas State Fair egg rolls is a twist on a staple, with its Viet-American roots. It's fun to see things like meatloaf, or apple sauce being used to showcase an Asian American kitchen. Their pho is great! Perfectly beefy, balanced in aromatics, rich and cozy. A solid bowl that is greatly accompanied with their fatty brisket. Coconut jelly is a perfect way to end the meal - just leave out the chocolate sauce. (That stuff ain't right in coconut jelly.) The only miss was the bo luc lac meat was cut too small, resulting in a dry tougher beef to chew, which usually isn't the norm. But could be good if you fancy beef jerky! I didn't try any of their non-Viet items so I can't speak on the other things. They also had pup chow for our little guy, which he enjoyed! LOVE having a place we can enjoy pho & also bring our dog!
Absolutely love this restaurant — always leave happy and satisfied! Wonderful drink menu, delicious food and just a great overall atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly too. Always my go-to stop for dinner, or some starters and drinks, before shows at The Gothic. Favorite Englewood restaurant by far!
Bistro King Asian Restaurant 百味居
The food is delicious! ORDER FROM THE PAPER MENU!!! Service took a long time but we went on Christmas night and were appropriately warned that the ‘authentic’ stuff from the paper menu would take longer to come out. We will DEFINITELY be eating here again!!! New Christmas tradition?
Amazing! Travel from Minnesota to Colorado and found this restaurant. As a Chinese, I would say that the food here is so authentic and delicious! My Chinese stomach had a SPA. Highly recommended. Sorry I only have a photo of the dishes almost done.
Thai and Chinese Express
I had never ordered from this restaurant as I recently moved into this area. I had expectations from my previous Chinese restaurant. This place met AND exceeded my expectations. The food arrived very hot! I couldn't take pictures of the egg rolls because I ate them. They were crisp, hot and flavorful! The delivery guy was awesome ensuring I had my order. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Food is overpriced. I stated to my daughter that for a couple more dollars, we could have gone to Panda Express. The lady got mad and said, " But we give you more chicken." yeah true BUT the quality of the food just is not there... way over cooked, and it's basically all breading with little peice of chicken and hard to chew. Says $1,35 a scoop, but by the time you pay for rice and 2 scoops ends up being about 9 dollars a person. Promise you won't eat it all because you can't chew about 50% of it.
1.35 N UP A Scoop Chinese Restaurant
I got pepper chicken noodles and egg rolls i have a seafood allergy I'll add a photo. I was happily eating dinner before having to panic and use my epi pen. That is a shrimp. The texture is obvious. I'm going to see if I'm OK. But wow. Food safety. No.
If I’m in the neighborhood I always drop by here for some egg drop soup. The portion is large and generous without the cost. The food is definitely not authentic, but it’s a good tasty meal when you need to get going.
Panda Express
It took 45 minutes to get my order! I was charged for a soda they don’t have, the chow mein was dry, and I got literally 3 pieces of meat for one of my entrees, and they were slimy! Arrived at 7:20 and did not leave the drive thru until 8:05. At one point the worker said “you’re not going to like this, but”?? After I’d already paid lol, telling me my food was going to take longer. Like I hope y’all hire quickly because that was horrible 😭
This location is the best! Sonia (manager) does a fantastic job at providing the best customer service possible while keeping a smooth running operation going. Ye (line) is always so friendly and attentive to her work. This location is always clean and a relaxing place to eat. The employees are the best and the food is delicious as always!
Koo’s Kitchen
We had a fantastic experience at Koos! We ordered a mix of Chinese and Thai dishes, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and each dish was packed with authentic flavors. The service was quick and polite, making the entire experience even better. If you’re looking for great Chinese and Thai food in Englewood, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Second visit to Koo's Kitchen, and food did not disappoint in quality or quantity. A take-out place with good prices for what you get. When I stopped in, it was packed with customers, so I expected to wait a while for my order since I placed it there, not a call ahead. The girl at the register was super friendly, helpful with food suggestions, and quick! My order was ready surprisingly fast and food was all very good!
