My wife and I dined in for dinner. We ordered basil chicken, tom kha soup, Singapore noodles, jasmine tea, and fried chicken gyoza. In a lot of Asian places, the chicken would be deep fried and simply sauteed with flavoring sauce and it will have little bit of bad smell. However, in this restaurant the basil chicken was not deep fried, it was well cooked and had excellent flavor without any such bad smell. Also, their gyoza and Singapore noodles were great. It had rich flavor. The soup was average. Their restrooms were clean, service was excellent and ambience was good. My only small complaint is, their basil chicken was a tad dry and it didn't go well with rice but nonetheless had good flavor.

Our original experience with Pepper Asian Bistro was at their second location near Sunnyside. We loved the spicy edamame and the atmosphere was nice. We decided to try the Colfax location because it’s closer to where we’re staying. We started things off great with the spicy edamame-it was excellent, grilled and had the perfect balance of spice. The spring rolls and chicken dish had good flavor. The drunken noodles were borderline tasteless. The staff was nice and took really good care of us. But I had to swat at least a half dozen flies during our meal. Sadly, we finished the evening with unhappy digestive systems and multiple trips to the bathroom.

Best Chinese restaurant in Denver! Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our time last night, ordering 4 dishes to share left us with enough to take home and enjoy for leftovers this weekend! The staff was very friendly, sake was delicious and just all round good vibes. I feel like this place is a bit of a hidden gem, because for the quality of food I thought it would have been busier for a Friday night. Would recommend.

Great menu and food. Service was excellent. Ordered the potato salad and pork braised rice. Definitely on point! The food was prepared right in front of me and I spoke to the chef as he was preparing the meals. He really knew his craft. Highly recommend.
