Half Shell Oyster House
Very fine place to visit! Food and service was great! My waiter Thomas was accommodating and made sure to keep our drinks full! I enjoyed the Mahi Savannah with sweet potato creme brûlée with honey butter for my side! The blackberry margarita was amazing! I ordered two! Overall, I’d come back. We came for a girls dinner with a large group! If you have a large group, come early. We had to wait a little bit but it was worth the wait!
I had the crab and corn bisque and the voodoo shrimp appetizer ✓ My husband had the oyster Poboy, and was disappointed with the amount (lack of) oysters. A couple of beers were also had. And ended with the bananas foster cheesecake to go! It was yummy ! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Great Wall chinese restaurant
The people here are nice and friendly. The food is consistently good and they give you a lot (we eat off one plate at least 3 times). The food is always fresh and it’s better than other Chinese food places in the area. They are a little more pricey than other places, but worth it for the amount of food they give. We will continue to come here because of the food and nice service.
The service not too bad but the food in my opinion was horrible, not like New York Chinese at all. The grease in it can make almost a quart worth. Has me going to the bathroom constantly. The flavor was off. The eggs taste like if they were scrambled days ago and then reheated over and over. The only thing fresh that I ate was the broccoli. Also if you have a restaurant that’s in a Spanish atmosphere at least make your fried plantains fresh. Stop buying frozen plantains and then refrying them plus adding tons of salt. Overall not satisfied and not coming back neither do I recommend to anyone. Your cholesterol plus triglycerides are going to be sky high. Yuck 🤢
China House
FINALLY! A good Chinese spot in StCloud. This is hands down the best Chinese food I have had in St Cloud. They don't skimp you out on meat or any other part of your meal like most other places in the area and the flavor is 10/10.
If you’re looking for quick and tasty Chinese food in St. Cloud, China House won’t disappoint. I ordered takeout, and my food was ready in 15 minutes. The flavors are always on point. I loved their sesame chicken and fried rice combo. Plus, their egg rolls were crispy and not greasy. Affordable prices and great taste—definitely worth it!
Nana’s Dim Sum & Dumplings
This place has that fast casual vibe where they just want you to hurry up eat and leave so other customers can sit down. We heard some staff yelling at each other. Hopefully nobody was getting in the cook's way because I can relate to that. The food itself was phenomenal. Be aware that when eating many other cultures foods that there may be many small bones. I don't mind this and find it very enjoyable and comforting. My companion however didn't like the short ribs or chicken feet (many don't like chicken feet.) I found them both fantastic especially the short ribs. The soup dumplings were also delicious...kinda like little bit sized pot pies would be one way to describe it. I think the place is a little pricey for dim sum and I wish I could order many more options and not such large options as they have but if money isn't an object then the food is great.
As someone who loves to watch that intricate ballet of an efficient kitchen, this restaurant is a joy. After you place your order, watch at the kitchen window to see orders being prepared. The kitchen is well-run and tidy. We enjoyed the tangy chicken bites and the vegetable dumplings on this visit. There is a lot of pride in the food coming out of this kitchen and it really shows. Can’t wait for a return visit. Thanks to the kitchen staff and front of the house staff – – good job!
