Customer reviews present mixed experiences. One customer reported that while the food was good, the dine-in service was lacking, possibly due to staffing issues. They mentioned delays in receiving drinks and having to request silverware and chopsticks. This customer also noted an uncomfortable encounter outside the restaurant with someone asking to buy drugs, suggesting a potential issue with the surrounding area. Despite the service concerns, they stated the food was enjoyable and would consider takeout in the future.

In contrast, another customer expressed love for the restaurant, highlighting its proximity to their workplace and the availability of Thai options in the area. They specifically praised the Drunken Noodles with tofu and veggies, noting the presence of several vegan choices. This reviewer described the service as fantastic and mentioned that the restaurant has recently been remodeled and looks great, strongly recommending it.

Based on this feedback, Zume Asian Cuisine offers a variety of Asian dishes, including Thai cuisine and vegan options. The restaurant has reportedly undergone recent remodeling, resulting in an improved atmosphere. However, potential customers should be aware of a reported instance of subpar dine-in service and a possible issue with the surroundings. For those prioritizing convenience and good food, especially Thai and vegan dishes, takeout might be a preferable option based on one customer's positive experience.

The food was good but unfortunately the service was not great. I am not sure if they had staffing issues or if this is their normal way of operating, but when we were there, there was a girl working the register and I believe she was the waitress, and busser, and doing all front of house work. I say "I believe" because even with nobody in line, we were not brought drinks until I approached the register and asked. We had to ask for silverware, and chopsticks. The service was not good, at all. I also was asked by a man standing in front of the liquor store next door if I wanted to buy drugs. So, that was neat. The food was good, and I would eat it again. Maybe takeout is a better idea next time.

Love this restaurant! It’s pretty close to where I work, and there aren’t a lot of Thai options in the area so was SO happy when I discovered Zume!! I usually get the Drunken Noodles with tofu and veggies, but there are a number of vegan options. The service is fantastic, and the restaurant has recently been remodeled and looks great. Highly recommend.

I recently visited Denver and checked out Zume Asian Cuisine, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food was definitely the best part! The Roti Canai was delicious and reminded me of my childhood, and the Panang Curry hit the spot with its bold flavors and perfect spice level (I asked for it spicy, and they delivered). The vibe of the place is simple and clean—more like a café than a full-on restaurant. Service, though, could use some work. There was no one to greet me when I walked in, so I just seated myself. I had to ask for water, silverware, and napkins, which wasn’t ideal. But I did appreciate that they refilled my Thai tea for free, so that was a nice touch (YMMV). All in all, the food made up for the service issues, so I’d give it 4.5 stars (round up to 5). It's definitely worth trying if you're craving good Asian cuisine flavors in a relaxed setting.

Love the food here! 😋 Favorite dishes are Mogolian beef, cashew chicken, Kung Poa Chicken, orange chicken, pho, wonton, egg rolls and to die for golden bananas for dessert. Did I forget to mention they have the best Boba tea! Family owned and operated the manager is amazing! Friendly and inviting atmosphere. You may see their children in the restaurant. Happy to be a long time supporter of this family business.

I saw Zume had a good rating, so I tried it for lunch. The restaurant is clean and the employees are nice. The $12.95 lunch special came with an appetizer and main dish. The hot & sour soup was delicious and had the perfect level of heat. The orange chicken portion was generous for a lunch menu. The fried chicken had a satisfying crunch, and the chicken was juicy inside. The orange sauce was very flavorful and yummy. I will be back the next time I am in the neighborhood. You should try it!
