The stir-fry noodles have also been criticized for being bland. One customer also reported that the sesame chicken was made with sweet and sour sauce.

There have also been reports of service issues, particularly regarding order accuracy. One customer who ordered fish dumplings received pork dumplings instead, and was informed that the fish dumplings were unavailable and substituted without prior consent.

60$ Terrible food. Order Sesame and Tso Chicken. Pork and shrimp dumplings. And the stir fry noodles. Chicken was almost burned and tasted awful, barely any sauce on either chicken dishes. No flavor, very dry. Sesame chicken was done with sweet and sour sauce. Noodles were bland and no flavor. And dumplings were just okay. Won’t return , wanted to call and complaint but decided was not even worth it. Bad experience and disappointed

Came here to try the dumplings. Ordered the fish dumplings but was served pork dumplings. Spoke with chef and was informed they were out of fish and substituted this. I’m surprised they did not ask us if it’s acceptable. The cauliflower heated on pan was okay. The shredded potatoes was a bit better. Food is okay but I think service is mixed. Venue is decent and clean.

A delicious take out experience! Food was ready by the time I selected to pick it up, was in and out quick. Food: - Garlic shredded pork (medium spicy) 5/5: this was delicious with just a flavorful and enjoyable level of spice. Spice brought a light burn to my lips, I’m not the most spice tolerant. Sriracha is my happy place spice wise for reference. - sesame chicken 5/5: very tender, juicy chicken. The sauce was sweeter than I expected, but it’s not a dish I’ve gotten before. Very good, especially for lunch the next day. - pork soup dumplings 5/5: very big, filled with delicious pork and soup. Almost too big to eat in one bite - almost! Great portion of soup and pork filling. - pork and sour cabbage fried dumpling 4/5: these were good, nothing remarkable which is why a 4, whereas I thought the other items were very very good. I think the sauce was what I didn’t like as much about them. Based on my experience, I happily recommend Zouji for getting high quality, flavorful Chinese food in Glen Cove. It’s my favorite of the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in town (3 total). I will be back the next time I’m craving Chinese food!

A Chinese restaurant serves my favorite garlic eggplant with garlic sauce. Must-try: garlic eggplant with garlic sauce 鱼香茄子 Recommendation: Peking duck 北京烤鸭 The garlic eggplant with garlic sauce reminds me of my secondary school cafeteria. So far my favorite in NY. Note that it is very hot when it comes to table. My friends like the Peking duck here. My recommendation is to order soup for the bones instead of pepper salt bites. The other dishes are average. We ordered dry sauteed string beans, shredded pork In sweet bean sauce, and Huoshao before, there dishes are average. Parking: They have their private parking lot.

Hands down my favorite Chinese place in Glen Cove. Their dishes are fresh, authentic and reminiscent of those I would eat when traveling to Hangzhou and Suzhou. I have yet to try a dish I haven't loved.
