As a "Chinese Restaurant," Zhu's Kitchen likely offers a diverse menu of Chinese culinary dishes, catering to the local community's preferences for this popular cuisine. They can be contacted at the phone number (718) 542-3921 or the mobile number +1 718-542-3921 for inquiries, orders, or to confirm services such as dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

The environment of Zhu's Kitchen, based on the limited information available, is not explicitly described. However, typically, a local Chinese restaurant aims to provide a comfortable and functional space for its customers. This could range from a casual setting suitable for quick meals and takeout orders to a more inviting area for those choosing to dine in. Aspects such as the cleanliness, décor, and overall ambiance contribute to the customer experience when eating at the restaurant.

In terms of services, Zhu's Kitchen, being a Chinese restaurant, is expected to offer standard options such as takeout, allowing customers to enjoy their food off-premises. It is also probable that they provide dine-in services, giving patrons the opportunity to eat their meals at the restaurant. Many contemporary food establishments also offer delivery services, bringing convenience to customers who prefer to eat at home or elsewhere. Features that can define a Chinese restaurant like Zhu's Kitchen often include the variety and quality of its menu, the affordability of its offerings, and any unique aspects that might attract customers. Based on one customer review, Zhu's Kitchen is considered "one of the better Chinese food places in the area" and is noted for being "cheap eats." This suggests that affordability might be a key feature, appealing to budget-conscious customers in the locality. Another potential feature mentioned is the occasional offering of complimentary items, such as free soda and extra food with larger orders, as well as free samples for customers to try. These gestures can enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

However, another review provides a more nuanced perspective on the quality and consistency of the food at Zhu's Kitchen. While acknowledging that it's "not bad" when the food is good, this customer points out some inconsistencies. Specifically, they mention that the chicken wings are usually a highlight, but the half chicken can sometimes be dry and old, and the chicken breast portion can be tough. Additionally, they note that the large broccoli dish can occasionally be excessively greasy, requiring a specific request for less oil. This suggests that while some dishes may be well-received, the quality might not be consistently high across the entire menu.

Considering the available customer feedback, Zhu's Kitchen appears to be a local Chinese restaurant in the Bronx that is appreciated by some for its affordability and occasional generous portions or complimentary items. The positive mention of chicken wings suggests this might be a popular and reliable choice. However, potential customers should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in the quality of other dishes, such as the half chicken and broccoli, and the possibility of excessive oil in some preparations.

The review mentioning free soda and extra food when ordering larger amounts, as well as free samples, could be interpreted as a form of promotional activity or a way to build customer goodwill. These types of offers can be attractive to customers looking for value and the opportunity to try new dishes. However, it's unclear if these are regular promotions or occasional gestures.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of Zhu's Kitchen, including its full menu, current pricing, service options (dine-in, takeout, delivery), and any ongoing promotions, it is recommended to contact the restaurant directly using the provided phone numbers. Visiting the location might also offer insights into the restaurant's environment and atmosphere.

In summary, Zhu's Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant situated in the Bronx, known for its affordable prices and a somewhat varied food quality. While some customers have positive experiences, particularly with items like chicken wings and the occasional free extras, others have noted inconsistencies in dishes like the half chicken and broccoli preparation. Potential patrons may find it beneficial to try some of the recommended items and to inquire about the current menu and services offered by Zhu's Kitchen.

Not bad. One of the better Chinese food places in the area. Cheap eats. They can be hit or miss. Usually the chicken wings are the best here. Half chicken can sometimes be dry and old and the chicken breast portion is actually so tough it’s difficult to eat. Large broccoli sometimes comes extremely greasy so it’s a lot of oil mixed with sauce. You have to ask them go light on the oil. When the food is good it’s not bad.

The shrimp rolls I got smelled and tasted bad like it was spoiling and the nuggets were super oily. Although I ordered the boneless spare rib tips and I got them with bones, they tasted good along with the general tsos chicken. I will not be ordering from here again but it was decent.

I only do reviews when it's really really bad or really good. I think Chinese food basically taste the same. Some better than others. Some fresher than others. The rice tasted funny and the meat was extremely dry so they compensated it with extra sauce. Lately the Egg rolls. Egg rolls are usually fried. They weren't crunchy. They were soggy. I even made a note to myself to never order or go to the restaurant ever again.

I was told this place was good so I gave them a try. The first time, food was on point. Second time, my chicken was raw and my egg roll was a pool of grease…so much grease that it poured out of the bag and soaked my phone that was on the table. I’m just hoping the food doesn’t make me or my daughter sick 😞 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
