About Zheng Jin Ji 郑锦记 Fuzhou Cuisine

Welcome to Zheng Jin Ji 郑锦记 Fuzhou Cuisine, a Chinese Restaurant located at 4915 8th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11220, USA. You can contact us at (929) 250-2320 or via mobile at +1 929-250-2320. We specialize in offering authentic Fuzhou cuisine, bringing unique flavors and dishes that you might not find elsewhere.

Our restaurant has been highlighted by visitors exploring the diverse culinary landscape of Brooklyn's Chinatown. We are proud to offer dishes from the Fuzhou province, some of which may be new to many. Customers have been particularly intrigued by our stuffed dishes, including one filled with meat and another cooked with lotus roots, noting that they are surprisingly not oily and packed with ingredients.

Diners have also enjoyed our signature dishes such as the fish ball soup, which features large and clean-tasting fish balls in a notably pepper-forward broth that many find appealing. The flat rice noodle with spicy pork has been praised for its well-balanced mala spice that isn't overwhelmingly hot. Another popular item is the pickled pork sesame bun, with a minor note about the meat being slightly dry, which some suggest can be easily remedied with a touch of vinegar.

Overall, Zheng Jin Ji 郑锦记 Fuzhou Cuisine offers a great meal and a chance to explore new and delicious flavors from the Fuzhou region. We invite you to visit us and experience the unique tastes that have left our customers eager to return.

I was exploring this Chinatown during my vacation. I was amazed this community had cuisines from many different provinces and dialects of Asia that I was not familiar with. This place offers two Fuzhou dishes that I never heard of or tried before. One is filled with meat and the other is cooked with lotus roots. Surprisingly, they weren't oily. Both are stuffed with ingredients.

Stumbled across this eatery for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. We got the fish ball soup, pickled pork sesame bun and the flat rice noodle with spicy pork. Fish balls were large and very clean tasting. The soup was pepper forward but I liked that. Might be one of my favorite fj fish balls ever. The flat rice noodle with spicy pork was very good. The mala spice came through but wasn’t overally spicy. The bun was good too but meat was just slightly dry. Nothing some vinegar couldn’t fix though. Great meal. Would return.

I give 5 stars because the food is piping hot, fresh and good. The fishballs are bouncy stuffed with delicious beef meatball inside. It’s a mom and pop place, owners are nice friendly hard working people from China. I will go back next time I visit NYC.

Delicious! We had the beef soup, fish ball soup and 1 each of the bamboo shoots and pork and preserved vegetable sesame buns. The soups were delicious, with lots of white peppercorn flavor. The pork and vegetable sesame bun was our favorite of the two and had a nice tang. The fish balls are stuffed with pork, pertect flavor. The owners were very friendly and service was quick. You can also order pre-made buns and fish balls to go. Highly recommend!

This was probably one of, if not the best meal I've ever had. The fish balls were perfect. Bouncy, not too salty, fresh, and clearly handmade. They're better than any other I've had. The pork intestine noodle soup was delicious, with tender meal and excellent broth. As for the pork and pickled vegetable bun, I think it may be one of the best things I have eaten in my entire life. I think this place has given my life newfound meaning. The food is that amazing. I would give them infinite stars if I could.
