About Zeno's II

Zeno's II is a Chinese restaurant located at 319 Tremont St, Rehoboth, MA 02769, USA. They can be contacted at (508) 226-8900 or +1 508-226-8900.

As a "Chinese Restaurant," Zeno's II offers Chinese cuisine to the local community. Based on online reviews, customer experiences appear to be varied.

One reviewer described Zeno's II as serving "authentic old school Chinese food" and praised its "excellent quality." This suggests that some customers appreciate a more traditional style of Chinese cooking at this establishment.

However, another customer had a significantly negative experience. They ordered sesame chicken with white rice and found the chicken to be soggy and covered in onions. The white rice was described as dirty and tasting like microwaved Uncle Ben's. This reviewer felt their meal was expensive and inedible, leading them to give a negative review despite their reluctance to do so.

Given the contrasting feedback, it appears that Zeno's II might offer a traditional style of Chinese food that some customers find to be of excellent quality, while others have had negative experiences with the preparation and quality of specific dishes. Local users may want to consider these differing opinions when deciding whether to try Zeno's II.

I ordered sesame chicken with white rice and it was not good. The chicken was soggy and covered in onions. The white rice was dirty and tasted like microwaved Uncle Ben's. Not sure how this place has good reviews but my meal was expensive and wasn't even edible. I don't like giving bad reviews but this place deserves it.

This place has the best food at the absolute best prices in the area. A hidden gem for takeout that’s always worth the drive.

I decided to try the food despite the reviews. I've always noticed a busy flow of traffic from take out business. I assumed that it's because it's the only thing in town. The large chicken fingers over flowed from the take out container! I ate them in the car: They were so great. I'd estimate about 20 pieces. The oil was fresh so the food came out golden and not burnt brown. These chicken fingers were not greasy. That was impressive. The food was made to order and not sitting under a heat light. I also got a small order of crab Rangoon. There were still 10 pieces of crispy and not soggy wontons; again overflowing from the container and golden. I'm going to try other plates. I was served at 2:30 pm on a Tuesday by a tall male Asian chef. Maybe I lucked out. I'm just pleased that I found a place of quality that doesn't serve old greasy take out.

Wonderful family running this restaurant, but its changed over the years. Serving sizes have become smaller, while prices have increased. A few dishes aren't as good as they used to be. However, it's still good Chinese food. Hope it goes back to the way it used to be.
