About Zab-E-Lee

Zab-E-Lee, located at 4837 Old National Hwy, College Park, GA 30337, USA, appears to offer a unique culinary experience centered around an engaging cooking space. While the platform category is Chinese Restaurant, the available reviews suggest a more interactive dining format, possibly involving guests and chefs directly.

One reviewer described their experience as exceptional, highlighting the stunning location and cooking space. They specifically praised Alice, their chef, as being highly entertaining, informative, and funny, recommending that others request her if possible. This suggests that Zab-E-Lee features chefs who actively engage with diners, providing both culinary skills and entertainment.

Another customer tried the Drunken Noodles at Zab-E-Lee. They noted that while the flavors of the dish were correct, the amount and type of oil used were problematic, even after a request for less oil. This resulted in the reviewer feeling unwell due to the oiliness. However, they did commend the service as fast and prompt, suggesting efficiency in the operational aspect of the restaurant. The reviewer also speculated that other items on the menu might not be as oily.

Based on the limited information, Zab-E-Lee seems to offer a memorable experience due to its impressive setting and interactive chefs. However, potential diners who are sensitive to oily food should be aware of at least one reported issue with a noodle dish. The focus appears to be less on traditional Chinese restaurant service and more on a dynamic, potentially participatory, culinary encounter.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location and the cooking space were stunning! Alice, our chef, was by far the most entertaining, informative, and funny host. If you can ask for her specifically, do it!!!

I tried the Drunken noodles at this restaurant. While the noodles had all the right flavors, what was not good was the oil they used and how much of it they used. This was after i had requested for less oily noodles. The service was fast and prompt though. I am not very good with too much oil and so i fell sick but maybe the other items aren’t that oily.

Chef Ashanti put together a South Asian cuisine to die for. Flavors I haven’t had in Asian restaurants before. We tasted wonton soup unlike we’ve ever had, crispy duck in a rich sauce, fried catfish in a spicy brown broth, and tempura sweet potato and smooth egg plant in an authentic sweet and sour sauce that came home a us. Finish w some sweet smoothie berry thing-got to fly… Owner Rog was so charming we had to decide to breakout.

Yesterday I came and ordered the rainbow roll and Khao poon! I’ve never tried these before and when I freaking tell you both dishes tasted amazing. The plating/presentation is also great

I have ordered from this establishment in person and Doordash for over 15 years and it has been fairly consistent. Recently the food quality has not been the same and any Notes for sauce, spice level, etc. have not been fulfilled. I’m disappointed.
