This price is really cheap compared to Chinese food in South Florida, so I didn’t expect the portions to be so large. The taste is acceptable! There are some differences, though. If I pass by again in the future, I will probably come back for soy milk and other small dishes. 📎 Turnip cake - It’s decent, sturdier compared to the Cantonese version. 📎 Egg pancake - There are actually two types of Taiwanese egg pancakes, but this one is unlike either. However, it’s still good, just different. 📎 Rice ball - Although it is large, it only contains fried dough sticks and pork floss. Typically, a Taiwanese rice ball would also include pickled mustard greens, dried radish, and eggs (either scrambled or braised), making the texture and flavor richer. 📎 Large intestine noodles - The flavor is the same, but the noodles feel like eating regular noodles. Usually, the noodles are shorter and eaten with a spoon, and the large intestine pieces are thicker. 📎 Savory soy milk - I don’t often eat this in Taiwan, but after trying it at Heung Fa Chun in Philadelphia, this one is much milder, more like a soup.

This is definitely one of the most authentic Chinese breakfast restaurant That I had in the state. I highly recommend the youtiao and Douhua. The Douhua is the best I had in recent 5 years in the N.A. region. The staff is friendly too.

This restaurant has very authentic Taiwanese street food 台湾小吃. It is so delicious and the people are very nice. It has very fast service. I had the oyster omelet, stinky tofu, soybean milk, and pan fried dumplings. Many of the other people in the restaurant were ordering these same dishes and the were really authentic and delicious. Highly recommended.

It's solid Chinese breakfast. Some of the better savory soy milk I've had in greater LA but I'd say the cruller and other items are average. Found the service to be pleasant but sporadic. Lots of wear and tear in the store itself but they clearly have regulars and it has kind of a cool diner vibe.

I really want to support this place, because their fried dumpling stick is by far the closest to the taiwanese style. The soy milk used to be good too... Until today. The fried dumpling stick was a bit shorter than a month ago, I wasn't going to mention it because the price of natural gas was beyond ridiculous. But the soy milk was diluted down AND tasted burnt and a little weird sour taste, THAT is unacceptable! At first I thought I was thinking too much, but upset stomach, dizziness, and vomiting proofed I was right... So sad. I tried many items in the past year, and the service is good enough compared to many Chinese restaurants. I also like they accept credit card with no purchase restrictions. I only asked to.paid by cash once. They open early in the morning. Parking usually is not a problem, as the parking lot is next to the building. I appreciate the sign on the walkway as I sometimes forgot they closed on Wednesday, so if you don't see the logo sign on the street , that means their closed. All of them tells me they did their best to run this restaurants... but bad food, even just one time, makes it hard for me to recommend it to others (and coming back). It's the basic in food industry... Not to mention I'm ordering the famous + promotion items... 9__9 Mix feelings, just mix feelings.....Really want to support this restaurant... and I understand it's a harsh season (not just winter weather but also the economy), but what happened today is unacceptable. my best wishes to the owner and all who works there. Hope you all survive. P.S. I've been coming as much as I can in the past year, and told my friends, family, and coworkers to come here for authentic Taiwanese soy milk and dumplings stick, and a couple of other items in the past year.
