About Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen

Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant located at 1811 Randall Ave, Bronx, NY 10473, USA, serving the community in the Bronx, New York City. As a "Chinese Restaurant," Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen offers a variety of standard Chinese-American dishes. However, customer reviews present a starkly divided opinion on the quality of their food, with some praising specific items while others express extreme dissatisfaction with their overall experience.

Regarding the environment, one customer specifically mentioned that "the place is clean," which is a positive aspect and contributes to a more pleasant experience for those who might choose to dine in or pick up their orders. However, the other review does not provide any details about the restaurant's ambiance or cleanliness, focusing solely on the negative aspects of the food. Therefore, based on the limited information, cleanliness appears to be a potential positive attribute of Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen.

The services offered by Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen likely include both takeout and delivery, given the nature of most Chinese restaurants in this category. One customer ordered food for their family, implying that delivery or takeout for a group is an option. The availability of phone numbers ((718) 617-4795 and +1 718-617-4795) supports the likelihood of phone orders for pickup or delivery being accepted. However, there is no specific mention of dine-in service in the provided reviews.

In terms of features, Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen has received high praise for its "crispy chicken wings" and "vegetable fried rice." One reviewer stated that these two items are "ON POINT!" describing the fried chicken as having a "great crisp and flavor" without being overly oily. The vegetable fried rice was similarly lauded for not being oily, having good flavor, and containing fresh vegetables. This positive feedback suggests that these particular dishes might be specialties or consistently well-prepared items at the restaurant. The reviewer who recommended these dishes also mentioned being happy with them on multiple occasions, indicating some level of consistency in their quality.

However, another customer had an overwhelmingly negative experience with several other dishes. They described the rice as "horrible, gummy, and no flavor." The shrimp in the lo mein was reported as "undercooked." The chicken (presumably a different preparation than the crispy wings) was criticized for being from "babies" due to their small size. Even the sweet and sour sauce was described as "jello with NO FLAVOR." This extremely critical review led the customer to regret trying the restaurant based on its online rating and resulted in them throwing away a $60 order. This starkly contrasts with the positive feedback on the crispy chicken wings and vegetable fried rice, highlighting a significant inconsistency in the quality of different menu items.

Currently, there is no information provided in the reviews regarding any promotional offers, discounts, or special deals at Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen. As a local Chinese restaurant, they might offer standard lunch specials or combination meals, but this cannot be confirmed based on the given feedback. Customers interested in potential promotions would need to contact the restaurant directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire.

In conclusion, Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen presents a highly polarized view based on the limited customer feedback. While one reviewer strongly recommends their crispy chicken wings and vegetable fried rice, praising their flavor and preparation, another customer had a severely negative experience with multiple other dishes, citing issues with rice, lo mein, chicken, and sauce. The restaurant is noted to be clean by one reviewer. Potential local users should be aware of these contrasting opinions. If considering Yummy Yummy Chinese Kitchen, it might be prudent to focus on the specifically recommended items like the crispy chicken wings and vegetable fried rice, while being cautious about other parts of the menu due to the reported quality issues. The significant discrepancy in customer experiences suggests a potential lack of consistency in their food preparation.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The rice was horrible, gummy, and no flavor. The shrimp in the lo mein was undercooked. The chicken……. Don’t get me started, they fried the babies because they were SO SMALL!!!!!!! The sweet and sour sauce was jello with NO FLAVOR!!!!! I decided to give this restaurant a try because it had 4.2 stars and I highly REGRET IT!!! $60 in the trash. This was dinner for my family and it was horrible. 0 STARS and I will never be going there again.

I vouch for their crispy chicken wings and their vegetable fried rice, that joint is ON POINT! The fried chicken has a great crisp and flavor to it without it being drenched in oil. And their vegetable fried rice is equally delicious because again it is not oily, has flavor and the vegetables are fresh. If you get this, you won’t be disappointed👌🏼 it’s the only thing I’ve ordered from this place and I’ve been happy with it every time. Also the place is clean so that is always appreciated.

I went to pick up Chicken wings with French Fries, because no delivery, it’s $11 which is expensive but I didn’t want to cook and it was the closest open chinese restaurant and food in this area since there’s not many options. My Son cannot eat the sauces provided so I asked if I could separate His food myself into those paper bags they have, and was consistently told No, because it cost too much. She explained when you buy small rice and chicken wings it comes separate and it’s more money which is $14 then when you buy the “combo” which is the plate. NUTS considering the quality of food and how much they buy it for. (everything’s frozen nothing fresh, not even the vegetables in the rice) But what does that have to do with My $11 order???? It’s one order together!! She wanted Me to risk putting the sauce on “one side”. Like really?! You’re telling Me it’s difficult for Her to give Me a paper bag? These people are money hungry, sad, and don’t know how to accommodate their guest. Once I walk out the store in the presence of other people waiting to buy food I hear the lady screaming in Her language. They wait for you to leave to make more of a problem to justify themselves. And no drink with the $11 purchase. I should have just asked for my Money back. I was simply very tired after playing a sport and having to take care of My Son and wanted to enjoy a meal! I won’t be back ever. I went to eat my food and it was soggy! When I come in to pick up the food it was sitting on the wire and not freshly made. PEOPLE ARE NOT RICH TO BE SPENDING MONEY ON BAD FOOD! I could not finish my food and don’t even want to dare give it to My Son. $11!!

TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO! I asked for wings and vegetable fried rice and they gave me OLD WINGS. The wings were fried SO MANY TIMES that the meat turned yellow. The skin was also BEYOND tough. ALSO OVERPRICED! They charged me 9.50 for a vegetable fried rice and 4 wings, when 4 wings with pork and fried rice is ONLY $8.50. She told me it’s because they used a lot of vegetables but they LITERALLY only had a few prices of broccoli. She then proceeded to be rude when I asked for extra soy sauce. NEVER AGAIN! SAVE YOUR MONEY.
